Research of Colonoscope Robot With Rotary Inertia Type Locomotion Mechanism (회전관성형 주행 메커니즘을 가진 내시경 로봇의 연구)

  • This paper suggests a new design that makes use of rotary inertia that can allow autonomous movement of an autonomous colonoscope robot in the colon of a patient as a locomotive mechanism. As commercial colonoscopy causes a lengthy time of pain and discomfort to the patients when colonoscopy patients are reluctant to receive surgery, there is a tendency to avoid the test in the early diagnosis of colorectal cancer. To solve this problem, research has been conducted on the next generation of robotic colonoscopes that can reduce the discomfort and pain by moving autonomously within the colon of the patients. In the driving mechanism utilizing the rotational inertia, a flywheel is driven by a motor to store energy and produce rotational inertia. By the energy stored and released by the flywheel, the stick phenomenon that occurs when the robot is running in the intestine can be overcome effectively. To do this, a controller that can control the velocity of the flywheel and is robust to high frequency noise was designed and implemented. The driving mechanism using the rotational inertia presented here showed that the structure is also effective and the experiment can be run easily compared to another mechanism.

도심 자율주행서비스 테스트를 통한 자율주행 기술개발 현황 및 5G연계 미디어의 역할

  • 고령인구의 증대 및 출생 인구의 감소로 과소지와 대중교통 취약지역이 확산되고 있다. 이러한 인구구조의 변화는 교통약자의 독립적 이동이 더욱 불편해지고, 물류의 수송이 어려워 진다. 한편, 도심은 차량의 포화상태로 대기환경의 질이 나빠지고 도심도로는 주차장으로 변질될 뿐만 아니라, 운전자와 보행자 모두에게 안전의 위협이 되고 있다. 이러한 환경과 이동의 효율성을 극대화 하는 방안으로 친환경자동차와 자율주행기술의 접목이 연구개발 중이다. 자율주행기술은 자율주행차와 도로 인프라에 ICT가 융 복합되어 이동과 수송분야의 새로운 산업과 서비스 창출이 가능하다. 본 고에서는 교통약자의 이동과 물류의 수송을 지원하는 자율주행기술의 개발 동향을 살펴본다. 특히 광화문, K-City 등의 도심 자율주행서비스 테스트 경험을 통해 해결해야 하는 복잡한 도심 주행 환경의 인지와 교차로 및 합류로, 비정형 도로환경에서의 주행협상기술의 필요성을 소개한다. 도심의 주행 환경은 고속도로와 같은 자동차 전용도로와 달리, 신호등과 교차로, 2륜 이동체 및 버스 등이 다양하게 혼재된 것으로 인지 및 판단 기능의 고도화가 적극적으로 요구된다. 그리고, 다양한 자율주행서비스 시장을 확산하기 위해 요구되는 이동하는 공간과 시간을 메꿔 줄 미디어 콘텐츠의 역할에 대해 설명하고자 한다.

A Study on Estimation of Vehicle Miles Traveled (자동차주행거리 추정방안 연구)

  • This study identified the causes of errors that could take place in the estimation process of vehicle miles traveled and quantified the effects of each of those causes on the estimation accuracy of vehicle miles traveled via error rate to propose an efficient way to estimate vehicle miles traveled. The study proceeded as follows: first, the study established survey data of vehicle miles traveled in the pilot test areas to test the accuracy of a method to estimate vehicle miles traveled. Second, the causes of errors with the estimation of vehicle miles traveled were categorized into errors with the sample size, sampling methods, and homogeneous link setting methods. In addition, many different methodologies were set to minimize errors with the estimation of vehicle miles traveled according to each of the causes. Third, error rates of estimation of vehicle miles traveled were compared and analyzed according to each of the methodologies. Finally, a toy network was established to propose a way of estimating vehicle miles traveled by taking the local characteristics into consideration. The study finds its significance in that it proposed an efficient way to estimate vehicle miles traveled through an experiment and planning approach and made use of survey data of vehicle miles traveled to test estimation accuracy. The proposed way of estimating vehicle miles traveled by taking into account the local characteristics will make a contribution to the estimation of vehicle miles traveled by the areas in future along with the level of data offered in the study.

Routing of ALVs under Uncertainty in Automated Container Terminals (컨테이너 터미널의 불확실한 환경 하에서의 ALV 주행 계획 수립방안)

  • An automated lifting vehicle(ALV) used in an automated container terminal is a type of unmanned vehicle that can self-lift a container as well as self-transport it to a destination. To operate a fleet of ALVs efficiently, one needs to be able to determine a minimum-time route to a given destination whenever an ALV is to start its transport job. To find a route free from any collision or deadlock, the occupation time of the ALV on each segment of the route should be carefully scheduled to avoid any such hazard. However, it is not easy because not only the travel times of ALVs are uncertain due to traffic condition but also the operation times of cranes en route are not predicted precisely. In this paper, we propose a routing method based on an ant colony optimization algorithm that takes into account these uncertainties. The result of simulation experiment shows that the proposed method can effectively find good routes under uncertainty.

A Study on Driver-vehicle Interface for Cooperative Driving (협력운전을 위한 운전자-차량 인터페이스 연구)

  • Various technical and societal approaches are being made to realize the auto driving (AD) and cooperative driving (CD) including communication network and extended advanced driver support system is under development. In CD, it is important to share the roles of the driver and the system and to secure the stability of the driving, so a efficient interface scheme between the driver and the vehicle is required. This study proposes a research model including driver, system and driving environment considering the role and function of driver and system in CD. An efficient interface between the driver and the vehicle to cope with various driving situations on the CD using the analysis of the driving environment and the research model is also proposed. Through this study, it is expected that the proposed research model and interface scheme could contribute to CD system design, cockpit module development and interface device development.

  • In this paper, we study how the remote controllable mobile robot which could come to many via points with FLC(Fuzzy Logic Control) efficiently. The fabricated robot stop after the movement of single path method by four kinds of commands (forward, backward, turn left, turn right). To reduce disadvantages of this driving type, this paper reduce via points to goal position base on map which get from senor, let robot drive via point to via point on optimized path. An algorithm for the avoidance of unexpected obstacles by FLC is developed. And these algorithms are confirmed by computer simulations

실감내비게이션을 위한 주행상태 판단 모듈 구현

  • 현재 2D기반 내비게이션에서는 다양한 형태로 차량에 부착한 단말기나 핸드폰을 통하여 차량 주행 안내서비스를 제공하고 있으나, 이러한 주행 안내 서비스는 대부분 2차원 평면상에서 정보만을 지원해 줄 뿐 사람의 인식과 일치하는 실감형 정보를 제공하지 못하는 한계가 있다. 또한 차량이 도로를 주행하는 과정에서 다양한 돌발 상황이 발생할 수 있는데 이에 대한 정보의 제공이나, 또는 주행안내에 필수적인 직진, 회전 등 방향 정보와 차선 변경, 교통 표지판 정보 등 필요정보를 운전자에게 가장 효율적으로 제공할 수 있는 실감형 정보 제공의 필요성이 커지고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 안내 서브시스템, 차선 인식 서브시스템, 신호등/표지판 인식 서브시스템으로부터 정보를 취득하여, 취득된 정보를 표현 서브시스템이 안내 정보를 표현할 수 있도록 정보를 제공하는 주행상태 판단 모듈의 기능을 구현 한다.

자기부상열차의 속도/위치 검출 시스템

  • 자기부상열차의 효율적인 추력제어 및 안전성 높은 운행을 위해서 고성능의 속도/위치 검출 시스템이 중요한 역할을 한다. 일반열차는 바퀴가 선로에 접촉하여 주행하므로 차축의 회전속도를 측정해서 열차의 선로위를 일정한 간격을 두고 부상하여 주행하므로 비접촉식 측정방법을 사용해야만 한다[1-5]. 특히, 고속으로 주행하는 자기부상열차의 속도를 측정하기 위해서는 응답속도가 빠른 센서시스템을 개발하며, 또한 열차주행에 수반되는 자기장의 영향을 극소화하도록 센서시스템을 설계해야만 한다. 본고에서는 전형적인 자기부상열차인 일본의 HSST 시스템(주행속도 100km/h)과 독일의 Transrapid 시스템(주행속도: 400km/h)에 적용되고 있는 속도/위치 검출 시스템의 작동원리를 상세히 설명한다. HSST 시스템은 유도무선(inductive radio system) 방법을 이용하고 Transrapid 시스템은 와전류근접센서(eddy-current proximity sensor)를 이용한다.

  • With the rapid development of autonomous driving technology, commercialization of freight cars and buses as well as passenger cars has come to the near future. As researches for commercialization of autonomous navigation are being actively carried out in various countries around the world, in accordance with the development of technology, this paper proposes a bus adopting a new concept of community driving technology based on C-V2X for more effective autonomous driving of buses do. In order to realize the cluster bus, we propose a more effective cluster bus using C-V2X, which is the core communication of the cluster driving, which is complementary to the existing V2X for inter-vehicle communication and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication.
