Personalized Speech Classification Scheme for the Smart Speaker Accessibility Improvement of the Speech-Impaired people (언어장애인의 스마트스피커 접근성 향상을 위한 개인화된 음성 분류 기법)

  • With the spread of smart speakers based on voice recognition technology and deep learning technology, not only non-disabled people, but also the blind or physically handicapped can easily control home appliances such as lights and TVs through voice by linking home network services. This has greatly improved the quality of life. However, in the case of speech-impaired people, it is impossible to use the useful services of the smart speaker because they have inaccurate pronunciation due to articulation or speech disorders. In this paper, we propose a personalized voice classification technique for the speech-impaired to use for some of the functions provided by the smart speaker. The goal of this paper is to increase the recognition rate and accuracy of sentences spoken by speech-impaired people even with a small amount of data and a short learning time so that the service provided by the smart speaker can be actually used. In this paper, data augmentation and one cycle learning rate optimization technique were applied while fine-tuning ResNet18 model. Through an experiment, after recording 10 times for each 30 smart speaker commands, and learning within 3 minutes, the speech classification recognition rate was about 95.2%.

  • 휴대전화, PC, 브로드밴드(ADSL, FTTH) 등 가정 내에서의 IT기기 및 네트워크의 보급이 급속하게 진전되고 있다. TV와 에어콘 등 가전제품의 IT화가 진행되어 가정 내에서 네트워크를 형성함은 물론 외부 네트워크에 상시 접속되는 세계가 실현되어 가고 있다. 네트워크 접속에 대응하는 네트가전이 보급되면 가전기기 간의 연대 및 외부와의 정보통신에 의해 가전제품의 기능과 성능을 최대한으로 발휘할 수 있게 되어 생활환경, 편리성이 크게 향상됨과 아울러 성(省)에너지화에도 큰 효과를 나타낸다. 네트가전은 TV, VTR, DVD등의 AV계(系), 냉장고와 세탁기 등의 기기계, 태양광발전시스템과 전기온수기 등의 설비계로 분류된다. AV계에서는 디지털정보의 다운로드와 기억에 의해 다양한 고품질의 영상음향에 둘러싸인 세계가 탄생하게 된다 기계계의 네트가전에서는 홈서버 경유로 외출 장소에서 기기의 상태를 파악하여 제어하는 것이 가능해진다. 설비계에서는 설비 간의 연대에 따라 에너지절약 운전과 최대전력량의 제어에 의한 코스트절약이 실현된다. 네트가전을 이용한 홈네트워크 실현을 위해서는 고객이 쉽게 다를 수 있으며 만족할 수 있는 기능과 서비스, 성(省)배전$\cdot$저(低)코스트의 네트워크, 기기가 외부에서 간단히 제어될 수 있는 고신뢰성 인터페이스의 실장(實裝)과 표준화, 디지털 컨텐츠의 유통을 촉진하기 위한 컨텐츠 권리보호제도 정비가 필요하게 된다. 미쓰비시전기는 ''언제나, 어디에나, 누구에게도'' 가전제품을 편리하게 사용될 수 있는 유비쿼터스 사회를 실현하기 위하여 AV, 설비$\cdot$기기, 컴퓨터의 모든 분야에 대응한 가전기기, 네트워크 관련기기의 개발을 진행해 나감은 물론 주택을 이용한 실증시험을 실시하여 소비자 메리트의 본질적인 추구를 위해 계속 추진해 나가고 있다.

  • Recently there has been increasing the population of the elderly, the welfare of the elderly is no longer family's and personal problems. It is a social issue that the communities have a role to supply the systematic welfare service of the elderly and the facilities. Therefore It is needed to study the extended function and role of Gyungrodang because Gyungrodang is the most wide spreaded welfare service facilities for the normal elderly in urban single housing district. The subject of this study is to propose the facilities' program improvement method for the Gyungrodang that hold a extended role as a community welfare service facility for the elderly. This paper Is assessed as an sustainable research of normalization of the old people's living. By the comparison analysis of the existing Gyungrodang in Daejeon City and the investigation results of the welfare service present condition of the elderly in Daejeon City, finally the facilities' program improvement direction for the Gyungrodang is proposed.

  • Recently n Korea, the House of Commons and terrestrial broadcasting facilities integrated with FM radio and the satellite compulsory was amended to transfer MATV(Master Antenna Television) adjusted by SMATV(Satellite Master Antenna Television). While the SMATV was accepted by default in most other countries, our county did not accept it as the default for broadcast. Because domestic cable and satellite television service providers are conflicts with their interest. bAs a result, the hybrid amplifier for SMATV technology development and volume production for the state is insufficient. Therefore, terrestrial television broadcast bands (54 ~ 806Mhz) and FM radio broadcast band (88 ~ 108Mhz) band satellite with (950 ~ 2150Mhz) to amplify the development of a broadband amplifier with subsequent resolution of problems is also presented in this study.

  • The impacts of electric service interruption to customers depend on customer and interruption characteristics. Customer characteristics include demographic aspects (residential type, and number of household members) and power supply types whereas interruption characteristics include frequency, duration, time, and day of interruption. Accordingly evaluation of these customer interruption costs is very complicated and subjective. For residential customers, customer survey method seems most appropriate because interruption impact to residential customers is intangible. In other. words, the value of housework or lost leisure due to interruption is individual. Accordingly, this paper selected the customer survey method to assess the interruption costs for residential customers.

  • Recently, there are many home network applications using the convergence between mobile platforms and home network system. As smart phones which are called small PC in the hand becoming popular, the development of home network application beyond the one of cellular phones is required. Android mobile platform of Google includes OS, middleware and primary applications. Also, in addition to smart phones, it can be mounted on various devices such as set-top box and household appliances. In this paper, home network services on smart phones of Android platform are designed and implemented. The services provide real-time monitoring information (temperature, humidity, real-time video) of rooms and appliance control in a house.

Analysis on Defect Disputes in Housing & Interior Design from Consumers' Perspective and Interior Design Service Evaluation (소비자 관점에서 본 주택 및 인테리어 하자 실태 분석 및 인테리어 서비스 평가)

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate defect cases in residential interior design, to identify the state of defects, and to categorize types of defect and disputes. In addition, consumer appraisal to residential interior design service were analyzed. The results of this study could provide fundamental information regarding the defects and claims in residential interior design. First, we did literature review for defect disputes in architectural design and interior design. We identify the definition of defects by building life cycle, by state of construction, by activity, and by design performance. Second, we analysed interior design defects cases reported in Korea Consumer Agency & Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. A total of 49 cases of defect disputes in residential interior design from 2000 to 2015 were investigated. As a result, many defects appeared during the construction stage. A majority of defects cases fall into insulation, water-proofing/leakage work. In terms of design aspects claim, functional and aesthetic defects were claimed. Third, from Consumer Market Evaluation Indicators, raw data from 500 respondents were investigated for the housing repair and interior design. It is found that information comparability, responsiveness to consumer claim, price, and safety are important factors for consumer satisfaction in interior design.

A Study on the Characteristics of Groups Selecting Different Planned Housing Alternatives in Later Life -With Focus to Levels of Work Opportunities, Leisure Activities and Services- (노인계획주거 대안선택 집단에 따른 특성 비교 -일ㆍ여가ㆍ서비스 제공 수준 차이를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the general characteristics of test subjects in association with three planned housing alternatives in different focus level of work opportunities, leisure activities and services. Subjects used in the study were people in their 50's who were surveyed in 2002. A total of 464 subjects were selected from 556 samples. Statistical significance was found between the preferred housing alternatives and the subjects' background including education level of the subjects and their spouses, monthly income, assets, subjective economic capabilities, and housing size. However, there was no statistically significant differences in recognition of housing problems for later life among groups. Groups selecting different planned housing alternatives showed statistically significant differences for some features of the senior housing. From these results, it is proposed that various designs based on the levels of work opportunities, leisure activities, and services for the senior housing should be provided to satisfy the demands.

  • In Japan, a lot of elderly housing types have been developed in order to meet various needs of the older person and the change of social situations. Elderly housings can be divided into three categories elderly housings for healthy older persons, elderly care homes for the healthy and elderly care facilities for the unhealthy. Elderly housings include public and private rental housings. Sometimes they can be designated only for the elderly. Elderly care homes for the healthy elderly include full fee charging elderly housing, elderly homes, low fee charging elderly homes and care houses. Elderly care facilities for the unhealthy elderly consist of full fee charging elderly care homes, group homes for the dementia, elderly health facilities, nursing homes, elderly hospitals, and so on. However "elderly care facilities" have been proved not to be efficient for the delivery of elderly welfare services nor satisfactory to the frail older person. Therefore, based on the concept of the "Normalization", daily services have been provided for the elderly in order that they can live at their own home in the community for themselves. As a result, Japan aims not only to reduce elderly welfare expenses but also to increase elderly users' satisfaction. Emphasis on non-institutionalization and in-home services, regional characterization, harmony between Hard and Soft, user oriented services, substantiality, universal design and so on are sought for the sake of those goals.

  • 최근 기후변화에 의한 강우패턴 변화로 국지성 집중호우가 증가하고 있으며, 이로 인해 서울 강남('12), 부산('13), 울산('16), 인천, 부산('17) 등 대도시 지역에서 침수피해가 증가하고 있다. 도시침수는 하천홍수 피해와는 달리 매우 짧은 시간에 피해가 발생하며, 시설물 파괴보다는 주택, 차량, 상가 침수로 인한 재산 및 인명 피해가 높은 비율을 차지하고 있다. 또한 도시침수는 다양하고 복합적인 원인에 의해 발생되므로, 상황관리에 어려움이 있다. 현재 도시침수 피해저감을 위한 대책으로 구조적인 대책과 복구사업을 중심으로 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 짧은 시간, 높은 강도의 호우에 의해 발생하는 도시침수는 이와 같은 대책으로는 한계가 있으며, 사전 대비 대응을 위해서는 예 경보 시스템 등 비구조적인 대책이 함께 이루어져야 한다. 또한 도시침수의 실시간 분석 및 모니터링 등 상황관리지원을 위한 도시침수 통합 관리 시스템의 도입이 필요하다. 따라서 국립재난안전연구원에서는 도시침수 상황관리를 위한 "도시침수 모니터링 시스템" 개발 연구를 2014~2016년에 걸쳐 수행하였다. 도시침수 모니터링 시스템은 실시간 AWS 및 RADAR 예측강우 기반의 예 경보, 침수예상도 및 침수위험지역 정보제공, 실시간 강우빈도분석, 다양한 기상정보 제공, SNS알림 서비스 등을 제공하여 담당자의 의사결정 지원이 가능하며, 2017년부터는 시범운영을 통한 고도화를 추진하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시범운영 결과를 통해 시스템의 적용성을 검증하고, 개선사항을 도출하였으며, 향후 도시침수 모니터링 시스템의 전국화 운영을 위해 전국 읍면동단위의 위험기준 추정 방법을 제시하고자 한다.
