Development of parking lot recognition system using deep learning technology (딥러닝기법을 이용한 주차면 영상 인식 시스템 개발)

  • 본 연구에서는 주차장의 CCTV와 사용자의 스마트폰을 연동하여서 주차장의 전체적인 화면을 사용자의 스마트폰의 화면에 보여주며, YOLO 딥러닝 기법을 이용하여 주차된 차량 수를 산출하여서 전체적인 차량 댓수와 주차장소의 복잡도를 계산하여 사용자에게 제공하고자 한다. YOLO 딥러닝 기법은 CNN 기반으로 정확도 높은 객체 추출이 가능하고, 영역을 고려한 R-CNN 알고리즘을 사용하여 객체 분류에 필요한 경계 상자의 수를 줄일 수 있다. 한편, YOLO 딥러닝 기법을 이용하여 주차된 자동차를 인식하고, 주차면에 대한 영역에 대한 학습을 수행하여 주차된 자동차와 빈 주차면을 계산하여 제공한다. 주차장에 설치된 기존의 CCTV를 이용하여 저렴한 비용으로 딥러닝 기법을 CCTV 영상에 적용하여 주차장과 주차면 상황을 고객에게 실시간으로 알려주는 앱을 개발하였다.

  • For a integrated system to control several parking lots within a commercial district, it is required to guide a route to a nearest neighbor parking lot considering diverse realtime constraints such as realtime status of parking lots and changes of an access route. This paper proposes an optimized route-searching technique of integrated parking control system considering realtime contraints. In concrete, it proposes a method of researching a route in the surrounding area considering various status of parking lots that a customer designates (no parking, closed, under construction, no passing of a road) and deals with a route-searching technique optimized for each situation in detail.

  • Recently, the problem of global warming has issued seriously, so Green IT(Information Technology) using RFID/USN is concerned in order to solve environmental problems. In this paper, we implemented that public area like an underground parking lot could reduce unnecessary energy consumption used by lighting control system based on Ubiquitous Sensor Networks. The lighting control system for underground parking lot is comprised of intersection nodes for watching cars enter and leave, and light node for controlling light. It applies the routing protocol based on hierarchical cluster, hierarchical addressing method, and probability filtering method for the specific place like an underground parking lot. The result after experiments shows that the lighting control system could decrease electrical energy consumption to around 61.7%.

Trace element Analysis and Source Assessment of Apartment Parking Lot Dust in Daegu, Korea (공동주택 주차장의 축적먼지 중 미량원소성분 분석과 오염원 평가)

  • In order to investigate the degree of apartment parking lot dust contamination, total 72 samples of parking lot dust (36 from ground parking lots and 36 from the underground parking lots) were collected in Daegu city from the end of March to the early June 2010. The dust samples were sieved below $100{\mu}m$, and analysed by ICP for 14 elements after an acid extraction. Results obtained from the source assessment of trace element using enrichment factor showed that Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na and V were influenced by natural sources, while Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb and Zn were influenced by anthropogenic sources in both the ground parking lot and the underground parking lot. And results showed that Ca were influenced by natural sources in the ground parking lot, but influenced by anthropogenic sources in the underground parking lot. The measured values were remarkably higher in components from natural sources than in components from anthropogenic sources. Underground parking lot dust was more affected by anthropogenic sources and contaminated compared with the ground parking lot dust. Pollution index of heavy metals revealed that underground parking lot dust was 5.5 times more contaminated with heavy metal components than the ground parking lot dust. The results of correlation analysis among trace elements indicated that components in the ground parking lot were more correlated than those in the underground parking lot, and especially more correlated with natural sources-natural sources. Analysis for correlations between components and influencing factors in the underground parking lot showed that concentrations of heavy metals were higher with smaller number of parking spaces and no ventilation system, and older apartments in last paint and cleaning had relatively higher contents of heavy metals than those of recently painted and cleaned.

Estimation of Parking Lot Planning and, Suggestion of Parking Planning Methods Considering Vehicle Types (차종을 고려한 주차 계획단위 산정 및 주차계획 방법 제시)

  • At the present, planning and installation of parking space sections and lane width are implemented in accordance with the installation standard and parking lot structure by the enforcement regulations of the Parking Act. While large and RV (Recreational Vehicle) vehicles have increased in number recently, parking is complex with improper installation standards. It causes serious problems, including vehicle vandalism, increased civil complaints, travel inconveniences for parking lot users, management and maintenance issues for parking lots, and so forth. The study, therefore, determined that the practical and appropriate realignment of parking unit adjustment and lane width regulations are essential. The study conducted prior review on domestic parking sections and change cases of composition by vehicle types, including the component ratio of domestic and foreign vehicles, width of vehicle by types in order to examine the parking problems that account for a increasing social issues, and provided parking plan methods by types of vehicle, as well as reform and reaction plans for parking unit adjustment and lane width considering security and smooth traffic flow. After comparing and analyzing between estimated installation of parking space and lane width and internal and external cases, the study suggests the improvement that considers expenses and convenience of a driver. Also, it shows installation of parking space that considers traffic safety, improvement of lane width, and parking way depends on vehicle types. By providing estimation for parking planning and parking planning methods that secure safe and smooth traffic flow within a parking lot, the study will contribute to the development of improved alternatives for cost-effective traffic safety and set-up structure, including installation standards of parking lots.

Economic Analysis for Warehouse Rental Using Underground Parking Lots Extra Storage Room of Rental Office (임대오피스 지하주차장 여유공간을 활용한 임대창고의 경제성 분석)

  • The column gap of underground parking lots of office considering a business background and effective parking divisions is planned. A parking plan by column gap of fixed forms in atypical underground parking lots makes much extra storage rooms. Most of the edge of the parking lots are used for fan room. Part of the edge are located at parking ramps. Also warehouses are located in extra storage rooms. In this study compare study economical efficiency between life cycle costs and leases earnings. Consequently, It is proved that the warehouse rental is efficient because of lease earning guaranted years.

  • As IT has developed, it provides the convenient facilities in human's life. However, previous parking information systems serve only few things. such as to automatically issue a parking tag, and to show the number of available parking spaces. In this paper, we propose a parking information system providing the shortest way to go to the recommended parking space as well as the abilities served by the previous systems. By utilizing this shortest way information, a driver does not need to hang around a parking lot in order to look for the parking space. Because a parking lot manager can understand the parking lot state by using this system, he is able to deal with any trouble quickly. Therefore, the proposed parking information system reduces both the parking management cost and the number of staffs for the parking lot.

  • 저영향개발(Low Impact Development, LID) 시설들은 미국 일본 등 선진국을 중심으로 관련법에 따라 개발 및 적용 되어왔으나 국내에서는 최근에서야 LID 시설을 적용할 수 있는 제도적인 틀을 구축하고 있는 실정이며, 국내 여건에 맞는 LID 시설을 개발하여 그 효용성을 검증하기 까지는 상당한 시간이 소요될 것으로 판단된다. 서울시는 2014년 '서울특별시 빗물관리에 관한 조례 전부개정조례'를 발표함으로써 한국형 LID 시설을 대단위로 적용 하고 검증 할 수 있는 발판을 마련하였다. 서울시의 2014년 전부개정조례에 따르면 시장 및 구청장은 저영향개발 계획 수립의 실효성 확보를 위하여 저영항개발 사전협의 제도를 마련하여 시행하여야 하며, 시장은 저영향개발 지구단위계획을 수립하여야 한다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 실제로 적용 가능한 투수포장 주차장을 설계 할 수 있도록 투수 주차장형 LID 시설을 검증할 수 있는 투수효율성 검증실험단지를 설계 및 구축 하였다. 과거 도심의 우수배제는 중앙 집중형 시스템으로 단기간에 우수를 차집하여 배제하는 방식이었으나, 근래에는 집중형 우수배제 시스템의 위험성, 경제성 그리고 용량한계 등 여러 가지 문제점이 부각되면서 분산형 시스템으로의 전환이 이루어지고 있다. 물순환도시 및 지속가능한 도시 등이 분산형 우수배제 시스템의 예이며, 주차장, 도로, 건물 등 불투수 표면으로부터의 우수를 지면으로 침투 및 침루시키는 방법 등을 활용하여 건전한 물순환을 꾀하고 있다. 침투 및 침루 능력은 각각 포장체 및 포장면 하부구조의 재료와 밀접한 관련이 있으며 재료의 선정은 하부구조의 안정성 확보를 고려하여 선택되어야 한다. 또한 우수 배제를 위한 유공관은 접합점에서 강도를 유지하면서 효율적으로 유수를 배제할 수 있어야 하며, 저류조 설치는 강수의 활용목적에 맞게 선정되어야 한다. 이러한 투수 주차장형 LID 시설은 하나의 시스템으로서 포장체의 재료에 따른 공학적 성질, 하부구조 구축방법 및 재료 선정 그리고 유공관 배열 등에 따라 그 시스템의 거동이 변화하므로 기존에 행해왔던 단순 재료실험으로는 투수성 주차장의 우수배제 시스템을 평가할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이를 검증할 수 있는 투수효율성 검증실험단지 설계 및 구축하였다.

An Estimation of Appropriate Standby Space for Mechanical Parking Lot by Prediction of Parking Queue (주차대기행렬 예측을 통한 기계식 주차장 적정 대기규모 산정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the appropriate standby space for the mechanical parking lot considered parking queue. This analysis is based on the field-study by results of the influential factors on the parking queue of mechanical parking lots in the commercial area of Gwang-ju metropolitan city. In this study, the parking queue was analized through the simple modeling using Vissim based on average service rate and average arrival rate from the result of field-study. As a result of applying the field survey products to the theoretical queue model, no significant result was obtained when the traffic intensity exceeded 1. Therefore, parking queue was analyzed through simple modeling using Vissim, and the model for calculating the proper parking queue size of the mechanical parking lot by size was derived. The model for estimating of an appropriate mechanical parking standby space considering parking queue presented in this study is expected to be a criterion for considering the appropriate parking space of a new building, and also it can be used to minimized the traffic impact due to the parking queue by the lack of standby space.

  • Automobiles and parking lots have greatly been increased by the continuous development of new towns and residential districts. There were not enough parking lots; and although there were off-street parking lots available for sale, they were not easily sold. Through a parking regulation, local governments can require parking spaces for more than a certain rate in developing areas. Despite local governments should require parking spaces within the parking demand and regulation, they did not investigate parking demands. Off-street parking spaces are not easy to sell because they don't consider the parking demand. In this study, we analyzed the factors that affect the parking management in order to increase sales of the off-street parking. The factors were "the characteristics of the parking lots", "the accessibility of the off-street parking", and "the traffic environment around off-street parking." We have derived suggestions for these factors. In addition, this study has derived nine variables affecting the parking operation in these three factors, and suggested a logistic regression model and the influence of each factors. According to the analysis, "parking signs" were the most influential. Next were "land uses" and "lanes on road".
