오랜 역사에 걸쳐 연구자들은, 마찰력은 주로 접착에 의한 것으로 믿어 왔으며, 이러한 주장은 실험적으로 증명되지 못했다. 한편, 미끄럼 두 표면 사이의 건식 마찰력은 두 표면 사이의 기계적인 상호작용에 의한 것으로 알려져 있다. 이 연구에서는 두 표면 사이의 기계적 상호작용을 제거함으로써 마찰계수를 감소시키는 방법을 제시하였다. 매끄러운 경한 표면에 얇은 elastomer층을 입힌 비윤활 최소 마찰계수에 대한 본 실험결과는 앞으로 정밀기계부품의 충격을 받는 부위에 응용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

현존하는 문헌에 의하면, 입술근육의 수축과 운동시간의 측면에서 영어의 자음을 경음-연음분류를 할 수 있는 음성학적 실증이 없는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 근육운동 측정기를 사용하여 영어와 한국어의 양순 정지음의 발화시 근육(orbicularis oris superior muscle)운동을 측정하였다. 영어의 강세음절에서는 기존의 주장과 같이 /p/와 /b/의 발화시 근육운동에 차이가 없거나 일관성이 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 무강세음절에는 기존 이론과 달리 근육운동수축에 있어서 /p/가 /b/에 비하여 통계학적으로 훨씬 큰 것으로 나타났다.(중략)

다구찌의 누적법은 다구찌 품질공학에서 중요한 통계분석 방법이다. 그러나 이 방법이 복잡하고 비효율적일 뿐만 아니라 실험의 결과가 잘못 해석 될 수 있는 문제점을 가지고 이싿. 특히 순서 지어진 범주형에 관한 다요인(multificator) 실험에서는 이러한 가능성이 큰 것으로 지적되고 있다. 이에 대한 걱정과 비판이 Nair(1986) 그리고 Hamada and Wu(1990)에 의하여 심각하게 제기되어 왔다. 본 논문은 이러한 내용들을 정리하고 이들의 논란과 주장에 대한 평가와 이에대한 최선의 실천방안을 제안하고 있다. 아울러 실제 자료분석을 위하여 필요한 SAS/IML 프로그램을 제시하고 있다.

이온선혼합의 열충격으로 야기되는 등방저기 또는 이방적 원자이동을 정량적으로 묘사하기 위한 모형을 제시하였다. 불순문 확산에서 원자들의 이동비는 구성원자들의 활성화에너지에 의존한다. 이 모형은 0에 가까운 혼합열과 비교적 높은 활성화에너지를 가진 이중층들의 실험결과들을 만족스럽게 예견한다. 불순물 확산에서 구성원자들의 활성화에너지가 크게 차이가 나는 계들은 이방적 원자이동을 보여주는 반면, 비슷한 활성화에너지를 가지는 계들은 등방적 원자이동을 나타낸다.

새로운 천년의 시작과 함께 휘몰아친 비즈니스 방법특허(BM특허)열풍은 이제 다소 잠잠해지는 분위기다. 여타 분야의 특허에 비하여 특허가 사업에 미치는 영향이 클 것이라는 전제 하에 많은 인터넷 비즈니스 업체들이 너나 할 것 없이 BM특허 열병을 앓았다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 BM 특허로 인한 열병은 이제 잠복기로 접어들었을 뿐, 더욱더 그 위세를 떨칠 것으로 보인다. 한편 BM특허 열병을 앓고 있는 동안 비즈니스 방법을 특허로 보호하지 말아야 한다는 설득력 있는 주장들이 이 열병에 대한 치유책으로서 인기를 얻고 있는 것도 사실이다.

과학기술은 새로운 밀레니엄시대를 주도할 핵심분야로 국가경쟁력의 근원이 될 것이다. 과학기술이 낙후되면서 세계시장에서 설자리를 잃게되고 민족의 자부심도 지킬 수 없게 된다. 기존제품을 복사함으로써 개발비를 줄여 이익을 보는 시대는 이미 지나갔다. 새로운 시대를 맞아 과학발전을 위해서는 박사학위를 소지한 고급인력을 기업에서 흡수하여 장치와 부품, 재료에 대한 연구를 기초에서부터 다져 고부가가치를 창출해야 한다. 또 교육도 창의적으로 스스로 생각하는 훈련이 이루어져 독특한 재능을 지닌 과학기술의 탁월한 영재들을 많이 발굴해야 할 것이다.

The Korean navy has been using the ICS(Integrated Communication System) to transfer a command, control and information on the naval ship. The major equipment for the ICS has been imported from abroad, so that there were some problems such as lack of logistics support, leaking military secrets. This paper describes considerations for the development and the key technology of the domestic ICS which is developed to solve the problems mentioned above and to integrate various future communication elements on the naval ship.

When I examined the corporate financing statistics in Korea, I have recognized that there are several trends of them. First, large enterprises use bank loan and direct financing like corporate bond as debt. Second, small and medium companies mainly use bank loan only. So I argue that there is sample selection bias in corporate debt choice and using sample selection methodology is more adequate when analysing the behavior in corporate debt choice. Therefore I have tested panel sample selection model, using the listed korean firm data from 1990 to 2013 and I have found that the panel sample selection model is appropriate.

Recently, the discussion about division and partition of fraction increases in Korea's national curriculum documents. There are varieties of assertions arranging from the opinion that both interpretations are unintelligible to the opinion that both interpretations are intelligible. In this paper, we investigated a possibility that division and partition interpretation of fraction become valid. As a result, it is appeared that division and partition interpretation of fraction can be defined reasonably through expansion of interpretation of natural number. Besides, division and partition interpretation of fraction can be work in activity, such as constructing equation from sentence problem, or such as proving algorithm of fraction division.

Weapon system is defined as a combination of primary system and logistics support system which are evaluated by capability and operational availability respectively. Weapon system developer thought that primary system was weapon system and also only primary system was important. Recent comparison of total life cycle cost showed that logistics support system was proved to be more important than primary system. However, until now no systematic approach to logistics support system development have applied in the area of developing support system and much money was exhausted by wrong logistics support system. We need to construct a universal metric for effectiveness of logistics support system and to cut out whatever activities or support elements which do not contribute to the metrics. This study describes a new approach under the name function approach to logistics support system development and also classifies five factors of failure frequency, stock out of frequency, administrative delay time, active repair time and logistic delay time that have influence on operational availability of logistics support system.
