Considering the present development situation of domestic apartment complexes, the development of environment-friendly apartment complexes is very important issue in Korea. At this point of time, it is very meaningful to understand the domestic development trend and the actual condition of environment-friendly apartment complexes and examine various problems about this and the possibilities fer development. Thus the purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction and pertinent planning factors or the environment-friendly apartment complex for sustainable development. It is believed that the role of the related aspects such as administration, construction companies, designers and residents must be redefined in order to manage such problem. Planning factors for environment-friendly apartment complex should be developed systematically and more fit to the natural environment and residents in the aspect of district and community.

As we have come to realize the problems caused by the modern civilization as well as the importance of the preservation of nature. Ecological building and urban design come to attract more attention. Therefore, the object of this study is providing the design factors and improving the design methods for the developments of ecological housing complex, harmonious with environment. Followings are the results of this study: 1. We need to turn to new trend-Ecological architecture which enables the co-exitence of nature and human being to come over the presence and face new decades. 2. Ecological architecture is based on energy-saving system and give people a healty and comfortable atmosphere. 3. In the city area, the house development should be undertaken to minimize the environmental problem through extremely high ehhiciency and technonogy. 4. We need a new development to preserve natural environment in the suburvan and small or medium city. 5. We have to develope the approach method, which is to maintain the frame of present ecological environment, to be in sympathy with geomorphology, to use the natural material in the rural community.

This Study is about the check-List composition for 'Low carbon green growth' of Long-life housing. The National Rental Houring has been built for solving the lack of house for the low-income group. However the national rental housing that the low-income group didn't feel aliention' we should improve the quality of National Rental housing. The purpose of this study aims to identify the facts for improving the social integra as the preference of Rental lived in Gwangju. The findings are as follows. The residents had marginal characteristics such as low income, the aged and were satisfied with the residential environment so they want to stay there as long as they can. However, they were dissatisfied with the scale of housing, housing facilities. Therefore, It is important to improve housing condition witch they enhance their self existence.

This study proposes interpretation on techniques as planning methods for environmentally friendly housing estates in a view of Kim young-ok′s Ki philosophy which is based on the east asian studies. through consideration on the environmentally friendly concept with case-studies. When residents make places for a community and participate in controlling housing estate, it is necessary to get harmonized and united among them. This is needed to better understand it in confucianism which regards practicing of humanity as the best of virtue of fellowing the way of heaven. Interests of the western in enviromental1y friendly housing estates are still limited to purpose of comfortableness, convenience, and capability. But, on the Ki philosophy, a ultimate purpose of environmentally friendly housing estates is not for the matters of western interests, but "health".

With the rise in national GNP, there has been a surge in people requiring adequate housing. The most who are in need of adequate housing are fresh graduates who have entered the job market, and newly-wed couples. Given the current economic condition it is difficult for young people and newly-wed couples to find reasonably affordable accommodations. In response to this, the government is trying to formulate a new policy, with the aim of helping young married couples find decent accommodation in response to the housing shortage. Research was performed last July with the aim of looking at the differences between the newlyweds' expectation of the idealistic housing and conditions. Questionnaires were distributed to undergraduate and postgraduate research students to find out their requirements. The questionnaire investigated the social background and the condition of the inhabited area; housing type internal facilities; the space required for housing; interior finishing, and storage facilities. The survey results were analyzed using SPSS and found that the design of small residential areas, the space requirements of more diversified individualized areas were the most important concerns for undergraduate and postgraduate research students. From the study we hope this will form a foundation for the design of the future housing social stratum. It is hoped that the current results and conclusions of this survey will be of help for the korean community to provide a direction and a positive input in the future design of newly married housing.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the planning characteristics based on the physical quality indicators and the users' satisfaction of parking space in apartment housing through the case study of 36 housing estate samples which were built in 1994-1998. The contents of this research consists of three main parts. The first part is to analyze the characteristics of residential environment based on the quality indicators of parking space in apartment housing. The second part is to analyze the correlation of quality indicators of parking space and development conditions in apartment housing. The third part is to analyze the correlation of users' satisfaction and physical quality indicators of parking space, and to propose the planning methods which increase the quality of residential environment of parking space in apartment housing.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the residential environment based on the physical quality indicators of green space in apartment housing through the case study of 36 housing estate samples which were built in 1994-1998. The contents of this research consists of two main parts. The first part is to analyze the characteristics of residential environment based on the quality indicators of green space in apartment housing. The second part is to analyze the Correlation of Development Conditions and Physical Quality Indicators of Green Space. This research will contribute to the establishment of the site planning methods which increase the quality of residential environment in apartment housing.

This study was intended to examine the change in the perception of the professionals for the environment-friendly apartments. After result of implementing the question survey against the professionals two times, the degree of importance in the environment-friendly design elements didn't show any significant change. However, it showed the degree of maturity on the concept of environment-friendly development is widely spreaded in terms of social, economic and environmental aspects. Based on the description of such results, the conclusion can be deduced as follow; 1) Presumably it would require 5 years for the diffusion of the concept of environment-friendly apartments and 10 years for the construction of developing its materialization and settlement respectively, 2) The proper density would be designed in $150{\sim}200%$ in view of the environmental and economic aspects. 3) It is necessary to change the existing system into the District Unit oriented planning & design method in order to apply the environmental design elements in smooth manner.

낙후된 도시를 정비하는 방법으로 새로이 등장한 거점확산형 주거환경개선사업은 전면철거방식인 주택재개발사업이내 공동주택 건설방식과 비교하여 지역주민의 재정착 비율이 높고, 기존 도시 조직을 고려하며 점진적으로 개발할 수 있는 기성시가지 정비수법으로 주목받아 왔다. 또한 지역의 침체된 경제를 활성화시키고 황폐화된 구시가지를 회복시키기 위하여 정부에서는 도시의 새로운 경쟁력을 찾고 지역 주민의 삶의 질을 보장하기 위해 지역 주민의 삶의 질을 보장하기 위해 지역 커뮤니티를 근간으로 하는 도시재생사업을 추진하게 되었다. 효과적인 거점확산형 주거환경개선사업을 위해서는 주민참여가 중요하며, 현재에 이르러서는 필수적인 요건이 되었고, 도시계획 역시 주민과 함께 하는 방향으로 변화하게 되었다. 이에 따라 GIS도 주민과 같은 비전문가의 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 도구로 확대되어 활용되고 있다 하지만, 현행 주민참여 방식은 형식적인 수단에 불과하며, 주민 참여도를 높일 수 있는 획기적인 방법은 아직도 연구해야할 과제이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 커뮤니티의 재생을 목적으로 하는 거점확산형 주거환경개선사업에서 능동적 주민참여를 좀 더 효율적으로 이끌어 내고자 사업정보제공서비스, 주민의사반영 서비스, 쌍방향적 의견교환서비스, GIS 서비스를 제공하는 커뮤니티 재생을 위한 앱 기반 PPGIS 모델을 제안하였다. 최근 스마트폰의 보급률이 급증함에 따라 스마트폰의 활용은 주민들의 관심과 참여 비율의 변화를 크게 가져올 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 커뮤니티 재생을 위한 스마트폰의 앱 기반 PPGIS 모델은 정책결정자, 전문가 그리고 주민이 서로의 생각을 교환하고 이해하는데 또 다른 유용한 의사소통 도구가 되어 주민의 참여도를 높여 줄 것이라 기대된다 특히, 스마트폰을 많이 사용하고 있는 젊은층의 흥미를 유발하여 참여도가 낮은 젊은층의 참여도를 높이는데 기여할 것이라 여겨진다,
