Current management endeavors towards the urban residential environment lack in specific evaluation criteria and relevant strategies. This study attempts to systematically evaluate the quality of the residential environment and to zone areas that need improvement. In the case of the Changshin -dong area, three steps were performed in GIS analyses. First, the quality of residential en¬vironment was evaluated in terms of four environmental objectives-- i.e. safety, health, convenience, and amenity. Second, for the areas that do not satisfy any of the four requirements above, zonig was conducted in terms of housing quality, infrastructure, and housing density. Finally, relevant strategies for improvement were assigned to those areas. The approach presents a shift from a current method that manily relys on experts' intuition or biased judgement, to a more systematic and logical one. Such an approach is expected to be useful for establishing other urban developmental strategies.

Noise pollution on the residential areas adjacent to urban expressway is a very severe situation. There has been a significant increases in the number of residential areas near urban expressway, and the quality of life in such areas is being degraded due to increased traffic volume and speed. In this study, several factors such as traffic volume, speed, and distance from noise source, etc. that affect the noise level were investigated for the residential areas near urban expressway. A correlation and regression model was built to examine the relationship between such traffic factors and noise. The study result found that traffic volume had a closer relationship with noise than speed had. Therefore, to decrease road traffic noise, it is more imperative to control traffic volume than traffic speed.

In contemporary society, there is a notable rise in single-person households, coupled with an increased demand for residential spaces, necessitating the exploration of suitable housing solutions. Modular architecture is gaining prominence as a method to deliver cost-effective and sustainable living spaces efficiently. This study introduces a method for optimizing the design and construction processes of modular building units through Building Information Modeling(BIM) technology. It involves an analysis of factors that enhance living quality and meet the housing needs of single-person households. Utilizing BIM, a resource-efficient and cost-efficient modular apartment unit has been developed. BIM facilitates the visualization and integration of architectural components, thereby reducing design errors and enhancing productivity. This research evaluates both the benefits and constraints of modular architecture. Modular constructions, when combined with BIM, emerge as a potent solution for housing challenges, enriching the quality and variety of residential options. Nevertheless, considerations such as technical prerequisites and financial implications are also discussed. The study showcases the potential and merits of utilizing BIM for designing apartment units tailored to single-person households, offering a viable approach to ameliorate their living conditions.

디지털 경제시대의 웰빙주거문화생활을 위한 욕구 충족추세에 따라서 정보통신서비스는 광대역화 및 이동성을 지향하며 발전하고 있으며, 서비스 및 기기의 융합이 가속화 될 것으로 전망되고 있다. 디지털기술에 의한 서비스, 단말기, 네트워크등 융합의 시발점은 가정이며, 가정에서 정보를 편안하게 이용하고, 즐길 수 있도록 제공하는 방법이 주거용 건물의 디지털 네트워크 구축기술이라 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 디지털 융합 패러다임에 의해, 전개되는 새로운 정보통신환경에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해서 정보통신부에서는 세계 최고의 IT 인프라 환경을 기반으로 국민의 삶의 질과 정보화의 혜택을 극대화 할 수 있도록 정보화촉진전략을 추진한 결과, 수요자 정보인프라는 기존 정부정책에서 일부 소외되어 왔음을 보여준다. 이제부터는 디지털경제의 공급측면의 인프라 수준만큼 수요측면의 양적 질적 성장을 끌어올리는 일만이 남아있다. 기술과 시장 변화는 무엇보다도 정부정책 및 규제의 변화를 필요로 한다. 따라서 디지털홈의 정보가전 기기간 상호운용성이 보장되는 표준화로 네트워크가 구축되어야 하며, 표준과 연계된 기술이 지속적으로 개발되어야 한다. 본 발표내용에서는 최근 발표된 정보통신부의 초고속정보통신 건물인중기준과 각 지방자치단체에서 실시하는 정보통신설비 사용전검사기준에 적합한지 여부에 관해 문제점을 검토 기술하였다.

Although hearing loss in the elderly is one of the common symptoms of aging, as the aging population continues to grow, policies such as home care and welfare housing for the elderly are implemented with a focus on mobility, often overlooking the issue of hearing loss in the elderly. In this study, our aim is to enhance the quality of life for the elderly by improving the auditory environment within residential spaces, which plays a pivotal role in determining their overall well-being. We have proposed a technique that focuses on reducing reverberation, minimizing noise levels, and enhancing sound quality to improve the listening environment for the elderly, and we have verified its effectiveness. Building upon this, we have developed an acoustic design model for residential facilities catering to elderly home care.

본 연구에서는 2001년부터 2005년까지의 최근 5년간의 대구시 보건환경연구원의 대기질 자동측정망 자료와 대구기상대의 기상자료를 이용하여 통계적 방법을 이용하여 대구시 주거지역의 오존농도를 평가하였다. 분석기간은 2001년부터 2005년까지 고농도 오존일이 가장 많이 발생한 5, 6월을 대상으로 하여, 오존농도와 대기오염물질 및 기상요소와의 상관관계분석과 교차상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 대구지역의 오존농도는 측정지점별로 약간의 차이는 있지만, 기온 및 일사량이 증가하는 하절기에 증가하고, 동절기에 감소하는 전형적인 패턴을 보여주었다. 분석기간 중 오존최고농도는 상관관계분석 결과 고농도 오존에 영향을 주는 인자로 대기오염물질로는 $NO_2$, NO 그리고 기상요소로는 온도, 상대습도, 일사량으로 나타났다. 교차상관관계분석 결과 NO2, NO, 온도와 상대습도는 0시간 차이에서 가장 높은 상관계수를 나타내었으며, 일사량의 경우 오존농도가 최고치를 나타낼 때보다 -2시간 차이에서 가장 높은 상관계수를 나타내었다.

스마트 홈은 유비쿼터스 환경을 가정 내에 실현하여 생활환경의 지능화, 환경친화적인 주거생활, 삶의 질 혁신을 추구하는 주거공간을 만들고자 하는 목표를 가지고 있다. 이러한 목표에 더 가까이 접근하기 위한 연구 및 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나, 현재의 홈 네트워크 시스템은 서로 다른 사용자의 특성을 고려하지 않고 단일화된 서비스만을 제공하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 스마트폰에 있는 GPS, Accelerometer, System Log 등의 정보를 활용하여 더 지능적인 서비스를 제시하고, 스마트 홈의 상황을 사용자가 좀 더 쉽게 파악하고 관리할 수 있도록 스마트폰 기반의 모니터링 및 제어 서비스를 제공한다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an Amenity Meaning of the residential Environment reflected on the Residents. It focuses on the Environmental Quality through interviews and surveys of Multi-Family Housing Estates. The demand of Amenity as Environmental Quality of the Residential Environment will increase significantly in a short period of time. The Amenity Meaning fuses psychological and material elements, Also, these relate synthetic Environmental Qualities with Naturally Friendly Housing Estates. Thus, this paper may be used primarily by researchers, housing developers who may wish to incorporate the environmental quality of housing development.

Recently, "aging in place" has become the principle philosophy of elderly housing policy in many countries. However, since there is ambiguity surrounding the universal definition of it, the meaning of AIP has been defined by political expediency. This study aims to discuss the meaning of AIP by examining the transition of elderly housing issues and policy in Japan. During the last two decades, the Japanese government has tried to launch a new elderly welfare system to shift the responsibility of elderly care from the family to the society and from the society to the region. And the focus of elderly housing policy has shifted from the promotion of three-generation dwellings to supporting the development of private residences. However, since the main goal has been limiting the welfare budgets rather than enhancing the quality of life, elderly housing issues have been reduced to a matter of choosing either elderly care facilities frequently located in suburbs or not. This paper suggest that we should pursue the true AIP idea in housing policy, and argues that to do so we need to consider AIP from diverse aspects such as temporal continuity, the range of space, the dynamics of place experience and the capability of communities.

Recently, Through the linkage and opening, the fusion of the spatial information, it is necessary for productive ecosystem to provide a variety of information and to increase the civil use. Depending on the economic growth, demand for quality of life and well-being has been on the increase. Spatial information service contents for the public convenience has emerged to solve the problem such as health, safety, welfare and discomfort of daily life This study aims to implement search services for a tailored residence space through the three-dimensional data modeling on cadastral information. To achieve this goal, we established the requirements for deriving a registered object by investigating recent trend with respect to existing cadastral data model and defined property and relationship. Focusing on Songpa-gu, Jamsil station in Seoul, we implemented search services for a tailored residence space for three-dimensional right analysis in conjunction with residential and commercial complex building. As a result, we derived a way to supply 3D cadastre information through open platforms (VWorld) and to represent efficiently, which is able to improve the quality of spatial information service contents for the public convenience as well as to widen utilization of information.
