Response of Prospect Tenants in Housing Improvement Area to Shared Alternative Housing (주거지재생지역 공동사용주택 대안에 대한 잠정적 임차노인 반응연구)

  • Globally, the issue of aging populations has become a significant one, and while Korea is not yet in the same position as many other countries, it has been changing rapidly into an aged society. Korea will be an aged society and this will increase the problems which are associated with an aged society. So we are in the urgent situation of looking the solutions for aged society problems. On this theme, a society which is rapidly aging has a growing interest with developing solutions for suitable elderly housing. A possible model of elderly housing which accomplished this is shared housing. Shared housing is more integrated in local society, and is designed like a small-scale house concept. Also as it provides benefits for social, economical and practical to the continuance of independent life, the shared housing which gives the possibility of sustainable life in the local society is a unique housing type and not only an extension of a housing community, but also it an alternative plan of social integration. This study is one of the methods for the proposal of an alternative plan for the sustainable housing using a small group workshop. It aims to understand the housing preferences of seniors and introduce various shared housing types to a low-income senior group and offer new information of the shared housing for the future. So I give the source that senior could think about their housing plan and what is housing preference type. I anticipate that the better elderly environments, facilities and service to the elderly shared housing development in the future.

  • 주거 상업용 건물에 있어 최근 TV, LED 조명, 컴퓨터, IT 기기들과 같은 직류를 사용하는 부하가 점차 증가함에 따라 기존의 교류 배전 기반의 건물 전력구조에서 에너지절감을 위한 하나의 방안으로 직류기반의 건물 배전구조에 대한 도입에 대한 연구가 활발히 이뤄지고 있다. 또한 직류 형태의 전원인 태양광 발전, 연료전지 등의 신재생 에너지와 가정 및 전기자동차용 배터리의 등장은 직류 기반 전력구조가 가지는 강점을 더욱 부각시키고 있다. 직류 배전 시스템은 기존 교류 배전에서 직류부하를 위한 다중의 전력 변환 과정을 최소화함으로서 전원 및 부하에서 소모되는 에너지를 절감하여 전력시장 내 전체적인 탄소배출량 저감에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 고려되어지고 있다. 이는 직류배전 시스템의 에너지 저감 효용성 이외 기존 교류배전 대비 부하단 부품 수의 감소에 따른 신뢰성 향상 및 가격 저감, 무효전력 고려사항의 제거 등 많은 장점을 가지기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 소용량 건물에 직류배전 구조가 도입될 경우 실현 가능성이 높은 대표적 직류 배전 구조들을 Functional Modeling 기법을 통해 모델링하며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 교류 배전 건물과 함께 각각의 전력계 구조에 대한 효율 및 장단점들을 정성적으로 비교하고, 구현에 필요한 고려사항들을 제시한다.

  • As the spread of DC power distribution systems increases, the occurrence of failures and fire accidents are also increasing. In particular, the ESS fire accident, which is a component of the smart grid, and the fire accident of the solar power system, which is a direct current system, are caused by problems in the electrical connection between system components as the supply of new and renewable energy rapidly increases and old facilities increase. An arc that can cause a direct fire by releasing the induced light and heat has been pointed out as one of the causes of fire. Therefore, the problem of such an arc defect is that it is impossible to block an arc accident in advance with the existing overcurrent circuit breaker and earth leakage circuit breaker. In this paper, we intend to develop a test equipment that satisfies international standardization and to develop a DC arc generator to protect against failure and fire caused by arcing.

A Study to Set up Guideline for Public Facilities as Infrastructure of Low-rise Residential Community in Seoul (서울 저층주거 밀집지역 공공생활지원시설 설정방향에 관한 연구)

  • Low-rise residential community is the most popular type (51%) of residential neighborhoods in Seoul. Currently, there is a shortage of public facilities needed for living conditions and the quality of life in low-rise residential areas. This study defines 'public facility' as infrastructure to improve the living environment and used by residents jointly in low-rise residential areas. In this regard, this study analyzes current legal and institutional standards, latest trends in public facility of apartments, and residents' demand and satisfaction level in order to find out the criteria for installation of priority public facilities. As a result, the essential facility basically conforms to the number of household which is the standard of the facility supply in apartment. However, considering the limitations on the accessibility due to low density, it should consider two standards at the same time: the number of household and distance (radius of neighborhood). In conclusion, it is necessary to install legally prescribed facilities according to the number of household and distance: 500 households facilities in 250m radius neighborhood and 1,000 households facilities in 400m radius neighborhood. Also, considering the reality of low-rise residential area, it is necessary to integrate some facilities that can be functionally linked to improve level of utility and efficiency of operation and management. It is expected that the output of this study can be applied to institutionalize of the legal basis for the public facility of low-rise residential community.

  • Hereafter, the domestic housing industry has to give consequence to the redevelopment and rebuilding of existing housings rather than the supply by developing a new building site, and now those tendencies are rapidly spreading out. Also, because apartment buildings occupies 50% over of the existing housing, its maintenance, repair, remodeling and reconstruction got to be necessary area for the slumming prevention of a residential area and the disaster prevention occurred by durability lowering of the building. Accordingly, C&D waste is rising largely by reason of demolition works in city is increasing. The right management of C&D waste is being one of very important things, but little research has been conducted to estimate correctly C&D waste. In this study is to suggest standard units of C&D waste which can estimate demolition quantity of apartment. This units can estimate easily and correctly C&D waste in demolition works, also can possible use very important material to carry out policy of national waste management.

A Critical Reconsideration on the Function and Meaning of Follies in Gwangju - Focused on the First Gwangju Follies - (광주 폴리의 기능과 의미에 대한 비판적 재고 - 제 1차 광주폴리를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of the Follies that were constructed for the Gwangju-Biennale were for urban regeneration, to activate the empty old-town areas, and to strengthen the tradition and sense of place of the city. However, the ten Follies constructed around the wall of the old castle reveal many problems including that of leaving Follies alone instead of actively using them, damage to shop-keepers nearby, and pedestrian inconvenience, which is different from the original purposes. This study is meant to help understand the source of the negative phenomena, and to offer plans that will be conductive to the role of urban regeneration through activating the Follies and the spaces around them. As results of the investigation, there was no context giving uniformity among the various Follies. Also, the study showed that the insufficience of designers' understanding of the circumference near the Follies and lack of a consensus between the citizens and designers in the process of making the Follies. The crucial solution for solving these problems, and bringing to life the original purpose of creating the Follies was derived as applying "human activity" to the Follies. This study suggested 'street performance' as an effective device for application to human activity. While a Folly has no fixed function, the development of space program categories based on the applied characteristics of each Folly, and the simulation thereof showed effective potential for attracting people and activating those stagnated spaces. Recently, Gwangju city depicted the second Follies in applications such as reading roon, toilet, and movable food cart, which have clear purpose and different characteristics from the first ones. However, the first Follies will not be moved or demolished. As they are located around the National Asia Culture Center, some of them are supposed to be used to view the center. Consequently, a counterplan for the continuous and efficient use of those Follies is needed. Gwangju has a plan for the installation of 100 Follies throughout the city and it is expected that this study will be a meaningful guide line for improved Follies in the future.

  • Damage occur frequently around the world on climate change and the main cause of greenhouse gas emissions regulation is growing. To this end, the government has built integrated management system for national building energy. The building energy information is total 6.8 million complex. Integrated management system for national building energy database are matched building registers information and energy information of the supply agencies. However, the matching process has its limitations so advanced work is in progress continuously. This study analyzed integrated management system for national building energy database quality and limitations and deduce improvement plan to increase system reliability and availability. The existing database matching average rate is 85.6%. 58.2% of the total non-matching data type has no building information. To ensure the ease of new database matching and the accuracy of the existing database matching, address standarization and building properties system are needed between building information and energy information. Also, The system construction is required to include information on other energy sources like petroleum energy which has high proportion of non-urban areas and small residential areas and renewable energy which has high potential in development and utilization.

하천 오염현황과 대책

  • 인구의 도시집중과 고도산업사회 건설에 필연적으로 수반되는 도시하수 및 산업폐수등은 하천을 심각하게 오염시켜 하천수가 지니고 있는 자정능력 한계를 초과하고 있어 재생될수 없는 상태이므로 수자원의 보호가 요청된다. 이런 상황의 하천오염 증가 추세와 주요 오염원 및 오염물에 대하여 고찰하고 대책에 방향을 제시한다. 먼저 전국의 급수 현황과 장래를 보면 다음과 같다. 한편 수도권 한강수계를 오염시키는 주요 오염원인 폐수를 보면 주거지의 생활하수, 상업행위로 발생되는 폐수와 공장의 산업폐수로 대별할 수 있으며 수도권 한강에 유입 되는 지천 수질을 보면 다음과 같다. 위와 같은 상태의 총폐수량은 280만톤인데 비하여 청계, 중량하수처리장과 서부 북부 동부분뇨처리장의 일일 처리능력은 16.4%에 불과하다. 한편 서울지역 오염원구성비를 보면 다음과 같다. 이런 계속적인 오염물은 1977년 경우 갈수기에 80~100t/sec의 하천유량으로 희석되고 있어 자정능력 한계를 벗어나서 하류의 물은 혼탁하고 용존산소의 고갈현상을 초래하고 있다. 그러므로 도시 하천에서는 수류침체로 인한 하상퇴적을 방지하여 국소적 오염의 심화를 방지하며 유량을 증가 시켜야 한다. 수도권 한강 수계의 수질의 일부는 다음과 같다. 한편 생활수준의 향상과 더불어 수요가 급증되며 처리장의 효율과 하천수의 수질을 악화시키는 합성세제의 총생산량은 1971년에 21000톤이던 것이 1978년에는 약 50,000톤에 이르고 있으며 이중 55~60%가 서울지역에서 소모되는 것으로 추산되어 진다' 결과 한강수에서 검출되는 합성세제의 오염 현황을 보면 다음과 같이 이미 몇개 지점에서는 세계 보건기구의 허용량인 0.5ppm을 초과 하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 오염의 연쇄현상을 나타내는 중금속의 일종인 csduium의 검출 정도를 보면 다음과 같다. 이상의 하천오염에 따른 수중생태계의 변화는 물리적 화학적 생물학적 환경요인이 복합적으로 작용하는 세부적 기계에 대하여는 규명되지 않은 문제가 아직도 많으며 지표생물의 표현형은 중요한 가치를 부여하고 있다. 식물성 plankton의 우점종의 출현 빈도에 따른 수질계급을 보면 뚝섬지역 BOD 3.3~5.3 빈부수성 $~\alpha$ 중부수성, 보광동 BOD 6.0~10.3중부수성, 제 2한강교 BOD10~28 $\alpha$ 강부수성, 난지도 BOD29 $\beta$ 강부수성 등이며 이와 상이한 결과도 보여주고 있다. 이상으로 볼 때 1) 가정하수의 질을 높이기 위하여 분뇨정화조 의 효율증대 2) 산업폐수의 공정별 폐수량의 조절 및 폐수성 상에 따른 총량규제에 대비한 효율증대 3) 하천의 오염부하와 자정능력 최대한 부여 4) 폐수처리를 위한 미생물제개발 및 오염지표 종 연구와 오염내성 생물의 연구등이 종합적 으로 수행되어야 한다. 5) 이상의 모든 조사와 연구결과를 객관적으로 표기할 수 있도록 하천의 이정표가 정해져야 하겠다.

The Study on the Downtown Spatial Functional Analysis and Downtown Classification using GIS (GIS를 활용한 도심 공간기능분석과 유형화에 관한 연구)

  • The subjects were fifteen dong at downtown of Busan. LQ index and cluster analysis were used to research space functions of downtown in both years, that is to say, 2000 and 2005. At the analysis of LQ index in 2000, the secondary industries were specialized at traditional markets as well as large-scaled commercial districts, while the tertiary industries were done at financial business districts. LQ index in 2005 did not make change mostly comparing with the one in 2000: But, main businesses at downtown that belonged to the tertiary industries rapidly dwindled at old downtown to make appearance at Seomyeon of new downtown. Main businesses at old downtown in the past moved to new downtown to dwindle main functions at old downtown. The cluster analysis was done by using LQ index to classify into three clusters. The first cluster was old downtown that functions of downtown dwindle, and the second cluster was residence area, and the third cluster was the area where space function at downtown was very much active. The findings were as follow: Firstly, various kinds of urban regeneration plans should be made to control dwindling of old downtown and to establish comprehensive and systematic plans on new downtown. Secondly, downtown space functions could be placed depending upon specialization of each industry so that industries being suitable to the area should be introduced to construct development base.

A Study on the Developmental Governance of Hyunpo Port (울릉도 현포항 개발 거버넌스 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigated development method of governance of local residence, central and local government based on fishing ports as a new paradigm for restoration of sustainable space environment on Hyeonpo Harbor in Ulleung Island. According to the result of conducting a questionnaire survey on residents of Ulleung Island in order to carry out the research purposes, vulnerable living environment as poor accessibility and lack of hospital, community health center, and shopping district were pointed out as the biggest problem of residential environment in Ulleung Island of today. Secondly, there was a high recognition that development project on Ulleung Island of the government and local government is not actually contributing to the revitalization of regional economy and improvement in quality of life of Ulleung Island residents, and thirdly, lack of understanding on the importance or usage of various resources in Ulleung Island and insufficient support of the central government and local autonomous entity were pointed out as the bottleneck factors in implementation of the Ulleung Island development project. Fourthly, they perceived the current management level of Hyeonpo Harbor to be unsatisfactory. The results of this study demonstrated the importance of durability of development entities, vision of development of Hyeonpo Harbor, effort for the change of ownership mind, phased implementation considering reality of the area, and development that can provide small-scale profitable contents than a large theme.
