  • 종계가 낳은 알이 모두 종란은 아니다. 수정율, 부화율이 높고, 품질 좋은 초생추를 생산할 수 있는 종란만이 종란이다. 종란을 취급하는데 있어 좀 더 세심한 주의를 기울일 필요가 있다.

Comparison of Performance, Egg Quality and Hatchability of Woorimatdag Breeders Fed the Dietary Levels of Metabolic Energy during Late Laying Period (사료 내 ME 수준에 따른 산란 후기 '우리맛닭' 종계의 생산성, 종란품질 및 부화율의 비교)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary levels of the metabolic energy (ME) on performance, egg quality, and hatchability of Woorimatdag breeder hens during late laying period. A total of eighty Woorimatdag breeder hens were individually housed in cages from 48 to 64 weeks of age. The hens were assigned to two groups with different dietary ME levels: 2,500 kcal/kg and 2,700 kcal/kg. Each group consisted of four replicates of ten birds. The results indicated that the dietary ME levels did not have a significant effect on the body weight and feed intake of the breeder hens. The egg production was significantly (P<0.05) higher in breeder hens fed 2,500 kcal/kg ME than in those fed 2,700 kcal/kg ME from 48 to 52 weeks of age. However, the egg production was shown to be similar values in both groups from 52 to 64 weeks of age. No significant differences were observed between groups with respect to egg weight, eggshell thickness, and eggshell strength of breeder's eggs. There was no difference in the fertility and hatchability between dietary groups. In conclusion, 2,500 kcal/kg of dietary ME could be considered to meet Woorimatdag breeder hens requirement sufficiently during late laying period.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of the metabolic energy levels of Korean native chicken breeder diets on laying performance, egg quality, fertility and hatchability. On the basis of dietary metabolic energy values (2,800, 2,700, and 2,650 kcal/kg), 168 twenty-week-old 'Woorimatdag' breeders (maternal line) were divided into three treatment groups (four replications per treatment with each replicate containing 14 birds) and reared until 32 weeks of age. We found that the body weight of hens increased with age, although there were no significant differences among treatments with respect to body weight or egg weight. Egg production ratio at 20-24 and 24-28 weeks of age tended to be low in birds fed the 2,700 and 2,650 kcal/kg diets, although the differences among treatments were none significant. Feed intakes was significantly decreased as the metabolic energy level reduced (P<0.05). There were no significant differences among treatments with respect to feed conversion ratio or the strength and thickness of eggshell. Similarly, we detected no significant differences among the three metabolic energy levels with regards to fertility, hatchability, or chick weight. In conclusion, our findings indicate that during the initial phase of laying, the metabolic energy level of 'Woorimatdag' breeder diets could be lowered to 2,700 kcal/kg without significantly influencing the laying performance of breeders or egg quality, fertility and hatchability, and chick weight.

Study of system using load cell for real time weight sensing of artificial incubator (인공부화기의 실시간 중량감지를 위한 로드셀을 이용한 시스템 연구)

  • The eggs are incubated for 18 days through the generator and incubated in the developing incubator. During the developmental period, the weight loss of the fetus is correlated with the ventricular formation, and the proper ventricular formation is also associated with the healthy embryonic hatching and the egg hatching rate. However, in the incubator period of the domestic hatchery, it is a reality to acquire the resultant side by the Iranian standard weight measurement with the experience of the hatchery and the person concerned and the development period without the apparatus for measuring the present weight. As a result, prevalence of early mortality, hunger and illness during hatching are frequent. Monitoring the reduction of weaning weight is crucial to obtaining chick quality and hatching performance with weight changes within the development machine. Water loss is different depending on the size of eggs, egg shell, and elder group. We can expect to increase the hatching rate by measuring the weight change in real time and optimizing the ventilation change accordingly. There is a need to develop a real-time measurement system that can control 10 to 13% reduction of the total weight during hatching. The system through this study is a way to check the one - time directly when moving the existing egg, and it is impossible to control the measurement of the fetal water evaporation within the development period. Unlike systems that do not affect the hatching rate, four load cells are connected in parallel on the Arduino sketch board and the AT-command command is used to connect the mobile phone and computer in real time. The communication speed of Bluetooth was set to 15200 to match the communication speed of Arduino and Hyper-terminal program. The real - time monitoring system was designed to visually check the change of the weight of the fetus in the artificial incubator. In this way, we aimed to improve the hatching rate and health condition of the hatching eggs.

제7회 산란계 경제 능력검정 성적 (1972. 4. 1~1973. 8. 15 : 500일간)

  • 1. 육추율, 육성율, 성계생존율 육추율은 99.9$\%$로서 1회 98.5$\%$, 2회 99.2$\%$, 3회 99.8$\%$, 4회 98.3$\%$, 5회 98.7$\%$, 6회 99.7$\%$와 비슷하였다. 육성율은 평균 98.8$\%$로서 1회 97.5$\%$, 2회 97.2$\%$, 3회 96.6$\%$, 4회 97.9$\%$와는 큰차가 없었고 5회 89.7$\%$ 6회 87.1$\%$ 보다는 약 12$\%$가 높게 나타났다. 이는 MD 백신접종 때문인 것으로 생각되며 성계생존율은 평균 86.3$\%$로서 87.3$\%$ 보다는 약 1$\%$낮았고 1회 80.3$\%$ 2회 84.8$\%$보다는 약 4.6$\%$ 높고 3회 71.8$\%$, 5회 71.4$\%$, 6회 75.3$\%$에 비하면 19$\%$나 높았다. 2. 성성숙일령 전체평균은 157.3일로 가장 빠른 구는 4구의 146일이고 가장 늦은 구는 10구와 17구의 161일이였다. 3. 산란율, 산란지수 산란율은 평균 62.0$\%$이고 가장 높은 구는 15구의 68.9$\%$ 이였다. 산란지수는 평균 205.1개로 1회 190.8, 2회 198.3, 3회 184.2, 5회 186.5, 6회 189.7개에 비하여 높고 4회때와 근사하였다. 4. 사료요구율 전체평균 3.23으로 1회 3.54, 2회 3.1과는 근사하나 3회 2.98, 4회 2.87 5회 2.83에 비하여 낮은 것은 사양표준은 작년도와 같으나 원료사료 특히 단백질 사료의 품질저하에 원인이 있었다. 5. 난평균 중량 검정계군 전체의 평균난중은 61.2g으로 최상위구는 64.70g, 최하위구는 58.3g이였다. 6. 체중 검정계의 전체의 평균제중은 300일령 1925.1g, 500일 1938.4g이며 유색품종은 300일령 1986.7g, 500일령 1948.4g이였다. 7. 사료섭취량 사료섭취량 평균은 1일수당 육추기 32.1g 육성기 73.0g 산란기 115.6g이었다. 8. 경제성 총 수입은 7,269,072.34으로 전체수입의 85$\%$가 계란수입이고 15$\%$는 폐계수입이었다. 지출은 5049,690으로 전체 지출의 99.95$\%$가 사료비 0.05$\%$가 초생추대이었다. 9. 후기 검정수수미달은 참고구로 처리하였고 축산시험장과 대천종축장에서는 당초부터 참고구로 출품하였다. 대신의 개리슨, 신기의 하바드 코메트는 수정율이 낮아서 검정수수가 미달되었으며 영국의 Sykes International Co. 에서 출품한 Sykes Tinted(WL$\times$RIR BX)는 출품회사에서 직접 종란을 항공편에 보내 인수 부화하여 검정하였다. 7회 부터는 초생추에 MD(뎁타백) 백신을 하여 초산전후에 폐사율이 적었으며 72년 11월부터 국산어분에 의한 염도의 과다에 의하여 약 2주일 설사를 하여 상당히 스트레스를 받은 바 있었다.
