Effect of Consumer Confusion on Word of Mouth and Trust Through Anger: Focusing on The Moderation Effect of Consumer's Negative Affectivity and Intolerance of Uncertainty (소비자 혼란이 분노를 통해 구전, 신뢰에 미치는 영향: 소비자의 부정적 감정 성향과 불확실성 인내력 부족의 조절역할을 중심으로)

  • Companies are competing each other, and as the competitions became higher, consumer's information processing for purchase became more complicated. Consumer confusion problem is getting more serious, but there are still not much considerations on this problem. The purpose of this study is to find out that the consumer confusion can causes consumer's negative emotion(anger). This research studied the mediation effect of negative emotion on the relationship between consumer confusion, which was classified into three categories, and two consequences, word-of-mouth and trust. And also it concentrates on moderating effects of negative affectivity and intolerance of uncertainty in the relationship between consumer confusion and negative emotion. For the empirical study, we carried out a survey targeting consumers who live in the Dae-gu metropolitan area. The specific results of this study are as follows. First, all sub-dimensions of the consumer confusion had a positive effect on anger. Second, anger had a positive effect on word of mouth and on the other hand, anger had a negative effect on trust. Third, negative affectivity had a moderating effects on the links between overload and ambiguity confusion with anger, and intolerance of uncertainty only had a moderating effects on the links between overload confusion and anger.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between customer orientation and organizational justice in hotel industry. Data were collected from employees who are working in the hotels of Seoul, South Korea and total 321 was used in data analysis. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the distributive justice and interactional justice had a positive effect on the customer orientation. However, the procedural justice had no effect on the customer orientation. Moreover, the type of employee moderates the effect between distributive and procedural justice and customer orientation, but, there was no significant moderated effect of employment type between the interactive justice and the customer orientation.

  • This paper aims at developing an active expressway entrance control effectiveness analysis tool which operators can utilize and manage traffic based on current traffic condition. For this, after identifying the current problems of tollgate-based entrance policy being used, a new set of decision element such as congestion index, decision criteria for congestion, and congestion management unit has been proposed together with the procedure of newly developed tollgate control policy. Three key parts developed are traffic condition identification module, tollgate metering module, and travel speed calculation module. Some measures of effectiveness were also identified and the newly developed effectiveness analysis tool produced better result. According to classification of traffic condition by reference speed as 80km/h, the improved tollgate entrance procedure increased 21.5% in average travel speed compared with Do-Nothing case and also increased 8.8% compared with current entrance control method.

  • Recently, as weapon systems have been more diverse and complicated, the factors of risk increase in development. Consequently, demanding reduction of acquired costs and period increase. Under the acquisition environment, more efficiently to develop weapon system, the necessity of application of defense M&S from requirement phase is on the rise. As the importance of M&S is stressed under distributed environment, so the standard of M&S(HLA, SEDRIS, etc.) and the system engineering process, namely FEDEP(Federation Development & Execution Process) have been developed. In this paper using the 5 phase expression, we constructed underwater engagement simulation(UNES) that prototype to develop naval weapon system test bed which take up integrated architecture in HLA. we developed simulators according to FEDEP for expandability and described process applying FEDEP fur UNES development.

  • This study aims to specify a constructivism-based instructional method using a modular data analysis tool. The value and meaning of a modular data analysis tool have been examined to be applied in the national curriculum for artificial intelligence education and the process of cultivating problem-solving ability based on computational thinking. The modular data analysis tool visually expresses the cognitive thinking process that forms the schema in equilibrating through assimilation and adjustment. Artificial intelligence education has features that embody abstract knowledge and structure the data analysis module through the represented schema as a BlackBox implemented as an algorithm. Therefore, the value of the modular data analysis tool could be examined because it has the advantage of connecting the conceptual and implicit schema.

  • The research focuses on the interactional justice of organizational members and supervisors within Chinese organizations. In terms of organizational performance, the focus is on creativity by members, based on the need for innovation today. Furthermore, it verifies the influence of moral leadership on members' innovative behavior and the various effects of trust on members' superiors. This study empirically examined 330 Chinese small practitioners and identified the role of interactional justice in increasing the creative influence of organizational members to date in Chinese small. This study will propose ways to increase the level of creative and reduce the level of procedural justice, and discuss future research directions related to this.

Effects of Perceived Interactions of Digital Transformed Services on Intention to Accept Technology (디지털로 전환된 서비스의 지각된 상호작용이 기술수용의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the influence relationship of digitally converted services on consumers' intention to use since traditional services are being converted to digital services due to technological development and increase in non-face-to-face services. The study consisted of a program development procedure and a program effectiveness verification procedure, and bootstrapping was performed to verify the mediating effect adjusted along with multiple regression analysis. The subjects of this study were 323 university (graduate) students and the general public residing in Korea. Results. First, it was found that the three perceived interaction factors (perceived communication, perceived control, and perceived reactivity) of digital transformed services had a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, respectively. Second, the relationship of influence of technology acceptance intention was verified. Third, it was confirmed that the effect of the three perceived interaction factors of digital transformed services on intention to use was mediated by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fourth, the mediating effect mediated by digital disparity was confirmed. As a result, it was confirmed that the three perceived interaction factors of the digitally converted service are important factors in the intention to use the digitally converted service. This suggests that efforts are needed to minimize the digital divide.

  • The purpose of this study is to review the relationship between managerial system(CEO support, pay system, education & training) and knowledge management, and the moderating effect of decentralization and formalization in small business. In order to verify and achieve the purposes mentioned above, questionnaire data are gathered and analysed from 227 subjects in Kangwon-do province. Multiple regression and multiple hierarchical regression analysis were applied to test the proposed hypotheses: 1) the relationship between managerial system and knowledge acquisition, 2) the relationship between managerial system and knowledge transfer, 3) the moderating effects of decentralization on the relationship between managerial system and knowledge management, 4) the moderating effects of formalization on the relationship between managerial system and knowledge management. Empirical survey's findings are as follows; First, knowledge acquisition and transfer appeared to be positively related with CEO support and education & training. Second, education & training was verified to be more positively related with knowledge transfer in higher decentralization group than in lower group. Third, CEO support and education & training were more positively with knowledge acquisition in lower formalization group than in higher group. Fourth, pay system were more positively with knowledge transfer in lower formalization group than in higher group.

Adjustment Effect for Coping Strategy from Fatigue Scale of Security Guard's on Emotional Labor (시큐리티요원의 감정노동이 피로도에 미치는 영향 및 스트레스 대처방식의 조절효과)

  • This study was conducted to provide the basic data for improving the working environment and welfare level of the security guard by identifying the primary effects of stress response on fatigue with emotional labor and identifying the adjustment effects with coping strategy. The data were collected from 214 security personnel using questionnaire and the statistical tests of correlation, heavy return analysis and hierarchical return analysis using the SPSS 18.0 statistics program were used to reach the conclusion that: First, it has been shown that the emotional labor of a security guard affects fatigue Second, the effects of emotional labor on fatigue of a security guard have been shown to have the effect of coping strategy. Based on the above studies, it was concluded that the emotional labor of a security guard was affected by fatigue and could be controlled by a stress coping strategy. Therefore, it is believed that there is a need to seek an autonomous corporate culture based on the organization's performance by changing the management system for employees at the organizational level so that security guards can use an active way of coping.

  • This thesis looks closely at the moderating effect of individual variables while we analyzed how corporate's ethics policies have influence on his ethical decision-making behaviors. The subjects of the research were full-time employees (n=211) in the Seoul metropolitan region. The research model was substantiated through statistical analysis of credibility and validity, correlation, variance, and moderated regression analysis (MRA). This study found that within an organization with a code of ethics, the level of enforcement of the code and the level of employee awareness of core values sought by the company determined the level of influence of the code on ethical decision making. In other words, internal factors exerted a greater influence than external evaluation of a corporation's ethical decision making practices and therefore, it is necessary for decision-making practices to be transparent and recognized by the members within an organization. The study also found that the employee's awareness about the long-term visions of the company at a higher level and the employees who have a locus of control to their members internally acted as independent variables as well as control variables on the ethical decision-making. In addition, there were great differences in the level of ethical decision-making among the variables used as controls, which means these differences were related to the individual variables. Accordingly, in order to get ethical decision-making practices at a higher level, a education & training program will be designed and implemented variously as considering on the particular characteristics of the control variables we used in this study.
