Cheil Communications, a leading ad agency in Korea. has been implementing successful marketing strategies in the following three areas: (1) total strategic planning that maximizes clients' brand equity; (2) distinctive creative strategies that increase viewer acceptance with outstanding artwork; and (3) media planning and execution strategies based on systematic consumer research. This case demonstrates how Cheil Communications has empowered the clients' brands in the ever-changing marketplace, reinventing itself as a prominent global agency for the future.

한국정보통신진흥협회에서는 지난 '98년 5월 25일 부터 6월 15일까지 전산업 업종 3000개 사업체를 대상으로 Y2k관련 실태조사를 실시했다 조사방법은 전화 및 팩스를 이용하였으며, 국내 전 산업 업종의 Y2k문제 해결과 관련된 시장 규모가 약 5조 2천억원인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이 조사에 따르면 전 산업의 업종이 Y2k 문제 해결에 필요한 총 인력이 약 연 72만명이며, 총 비용이 약 49조 7천억원인 것으로 조사되었다. 다음은 조사한 내용의 요약본이다.

본 논문에서는 국제 IMS 프로그램에서 논의되고 있는 제조(생산)분야의 지능형 생산시스템기술개발과 미래에의 발전을 위하여 어떤 방향으로 나아가야 할 것인지에 대한 내용을 소개한다. 국제적 제조(생산) 환경을 기술뿐 아니라 사회ㆍ경제적 및 산업적 관점 등 다각도로 분석하고, 제조(생산)시스템과 기술 환경을 검토한다. ‘신제조(新製造, New Manufacturing)’의 특성을 정의하고 신제조를 구현하기 위해 필요한 기술, 조직ㆍ문화간의 협력, 신기술을 이용한 국제적 부의 창조 등에 대하여 살펴본다.

기업은 경영전략적, 영업전략적, 경제적, 재무적, 또는 그 외 여러 가지 이유로 M&A를 진행한다. 재무적 이유로 M&A를 진행하는 기업의 주주들은 자본이득을 얻을 수 있으며, 해당 기업은 자금조달을 충분히 할 수 있는 여력을 가지게 되기도 하고, 경우에 따라서는 조세절감효과를 얻기도 한다. M&A와 관련된 조세문제로 최근에 가장 크게 이슈화되었던 것은 "하나은행과 서울은행의 합병이 역합병에 해당되는지"였던 것으로 기억된다. 국세청에서는 두 은행사이의 합병을 역합병으로 보아 무려 1조 7천억 원이 넘는 세금을 부과한다는 입장이었다. 동 M&A를 시간 순으로, 중요 쟁점사안 순으로 짚어보면서 M&A와 조세간의 관계를 살펴보자.

초고속 인터넷서비스 시장(ADSL과 CTV)이 불과 2년 만에 성숙단계에 접어들어 가입자가 포화상태에 이르면서, Post ADSL을 대비한 구축전략이 통신사업자를 중심으로 어떻게 전이될 것인가 하는 것은 초미의 관심 대상이다. 본 고에서는, 대체모형을 고려한 Bass 모델을 이용해 Post ADSL 가입자에 대한 추정을 하여 본 결과 2002년부터 시작하여 2003년 말에 153만 명, 2004년 말에 444만 명에 이르러 2005년부터는 초고속인터넷 서비스 가입자를 앞지를 것으로 예상되었다.

우리나라가 21세기 지식정보사회에서 지식정보강국으로 도약하고 세계 정보통신시장에서 주도적인 위치를 확보하기 위해서는 정보통신시장을 주도할 핵심원천기술을 개발하고, 기술개발과 연계한 표준화 추진전략 수립 및 체계적인 추진이 필요하다. 이에 본 논문에서는 핵심기술 개발과정에서 발생한 기술개발 성과물에 대한 지식재산권 확보 전략과 이를 표준에 반영하기 위한 표준화 기구의 지식재산권 정책분석을 통한 표준화 추진전략을 제시하여, 기술개발과 연계한 효율적인 표준특허 확보를 통한 기술개발 및 표준화의 경제적 효용성을 증대하고자 한다.

The purpose of this study was to introduce a practical model to enhance creative and critical thinking skills through hypotheses generating activities for students. The 2007 Science National Curricula stresses the need for the enhancement of creative thinking skills for our students. The definition for the creativity in the narrow sense is the divergent thinking skills. The definition of the critical thinking skills is the strong sense of those skills. This model shows the use of the divergent thinking skills and convergent thinking skills together. The divergent thinking skills has been developed by making three alternative explanations about the causal question within a group of students by active discussion. The following procedure includes the selection of the most provable of the three explanations within a group of students also by active discussions. This process needs convergent thinking skills as well as critical thinking skills. This model can be used easily by exchanging from the one explanation about the causal question in any inquiry teaching strategy to three explanations about one. Although the partial modified strategy shows a small difference from any inquiry teaching strategy, but the effect of the enhancement of the creative thinking skills for our students shows significantly better (p<.05). More detailed study will be carried out in the near future.

This study compares and analyzes the operation costs of traditional and direct delivery strategies considering carbon emissions. For the determination of minimum operation costs and order quantity, we use the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model, which is the proper method for calculate the operation costs by logistics strategy. Using the classical EOQ model, we expand the EOQ model considering carbon emissions and domestic logistics environment. We conduct an empirical study on two agri-food logistics strategies under limitation of the carbon emissions using the expanded EOQ model. From the results of the empirical study, we find that the operation costs of direct delivery strategy are about 50% lower than those of the traditional strategy. Economic order quantity is also smaller than that of the traditional strategy. These results indicate that agri-food products can be transported quickly and freshly under direct delivery strategy. Consequently, considering carbon emissions, direct delivery logistics strategy are analyzed to have more positive effect on economic and environmental issues than existing logistics strategy. It is judged that direct strategy will also increase the freshness of agricultural products.

환경영향평가는 대규모 개발사업을 대상으로, 계획 확정후 사업 실시단계에서 개발사업 시행에 따른 환경영향 저감방안을 중점 검토하는 제도인데, 사전환경성검토는 행정계획과 환경상 민감지역의 소규모 개발사업을 대상으로, 계획 확정 이전단계에서 환경적 측면에서 입지나 개발의 적정성 타당성을 사전에 검토하는 제도이다. 사전환경성검토는 2006년 6월부터 대상 행정계획을 구체적 개발사업의 상위 행정계획으로 확대하고, 계획의 적정성, 입지의 타당성을 미리 검토할 수 있도록 하고, 검토과정에서 주민, 전문가, 시민단체 등 이해관계자의 의견수렴을 거치도록 하는 전략환경평가 체제로 개편됨으로써, 환경갈등이나 사회 경제적 문제를 예방할 수 있는 기반을 보다 강화하였다. 환경부 주관의 사전환경성검토가 전략환경평가를 강화하는 동안 건설교통부가 중장기기본계획에 대한 전략환경평가를 시행하기 시작하였다. 우리나라의 전략환경평가는 건설교통부와 환경부가 전략환경평가를 별도로 운영하는 데 따른 비효율성, 국토계획과 환경계획의 연계성 부족, 선거공약으로 제안된 대규모 개발계획 등에 대한 객관적 환경평가의 어려움 등의 문제를 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 전략환경평가제도의 정립을 위해, 환경정책패러다임의 변천, 환경영향평가와 사전환경성검토의 발전, 전략환경평가의 현황과 선거공약으로 제안된 대규모 개발계획에 대한 전략환경평가의 한계 등을 고찰한 후, 전략환경평가제도의 발전방향과 개발계획과 환경계획의 연계통합방안을 모색하고자 한다.
