Viscometry was applied to identify irradiated corn starch (CS), sweet potato starch (SS), and potato starch (PS) from non-irradiated controls using Brookfield DV-III programmable rheometer. Effects of starch suspension concentration (7.0-9.5%) and spindle speed (25-125 rpm) were investigated. Established optimal viscosity-measuring conditions showed the highest correlation coefficient between irradiation dose (0-6.0 kGy) and corresponding viscosities for CS, SS, and PS. Threshold values for identifying irradiated starches were suggested. Viscosities of all samples significantly decreased with increasing irradiation dose (p<0.05) and spindle speed, while increased as suspension concentration increased. Optimal conditions for suspension concentration and spindle speed were 7.5% (6.7%, d.b.) and 125rpm in CS, 8.5% (7.3%, d.b.) and 125 rpm in SS, and 9.0% (7.3%, d.b.) and 100rpm in PS, respectively. Under these measuring conditions, threshold values for discriminating unknown samples were 0.313, 0.345, and 0.811 for CS, SS, and PS in 1.5 kGy-irradiated samples, compared with 0.521, 0.798, and 1.693 in non-irradiated samples, respectively, enabling identification of irradiated from non-irradiated starches.

Cultured pancreatic beta cells and nerve cells, it is given normal condition of 10% FBS (fetal bovine serum), 11.1 mM glucose and hyperglycemia codition of 1% FBS, 30 mM glucose. For low LET X-ray irradiated with 0.5 Gy/hr dose-rate(total dose: 0.5 to 5 Gy). Survival rates were measured by MTT assay. When non irradiated, differentiated in the pancreatic beta cells experiment is hyperglycemia conditions survival rate compared to normal conditions survival rate seemed a small reduction. However increasing the total dose of X-ray, the survival rate of normal conditions decreased slightly compared to the survival rate of hyperglycemia conditions, the synergistic effect was drastically reduced. When non irradiated, undifferentiated in the nerve cells experiment is hyperglycemia conditions survival rate compared to normal conditions survival rate seemed a large reduction. As the cumulative dose of X-ray normal conditions and hyperglycemia were all relatively rapid cell death. But the rate of decreased survivals by almost parallel to the reduction proceed and it didn't show synergistic effect.

Photolysis behavoirs of pesticides(Chlorothalonil and Endosulfan) over UV irradiation UV irradiation with pH 3.0 and irradiation with 3.5% salt were studied. The analyses of pesticides were carried out using gas chromatograph with an electron-capture detector, total organic carbon, and Ion chromatograph, respectively. The reactions were conducted in a alumium annular reactor equipped with a low pressure mercury multilamp ($8W{\times}6$) and initial concentration was 10 ppm. Chlorothalonil was almost photodegraded by UV irradiation, UV irradiation with pH 3.0 and 3.5% salt within 30 min of reaction time. Endosulfan-${\alpha}$,${\beta}$(100%) were photodegraded to 38% of Endosulfan-${\alpha}$ and 25% of Endisulfan-${\beta}$ by UV irradiation. Endosulfan-${\alpha}$(83%) was photodegraded to 66% by UV irradiation, 70% by UV irradiation and pH 3.0 and 75% by UV irradiation and 3.5% salt. Endosulfan-${\beta}$(16%) was photodegraded to 80% by UV irradiation, 98% by UV irradiation and pH 3.0 and 90% by UV irradiation and 3.5% salt.

Hongdo and Huksando belong to the Dadohae national park parks in Korea and are famous sightseeing spots in Shinahn-gun. One of the keystone species in this area is otter (Lutra lutra). We accomplished field works for finding its present habitat and condition analyses for the potential habitat in the area via spatial analyses with digital elevation model and satellite imagery. Isolated condition with coastal cliffs was one of the superior conditions over habitat in the main land, but the road kills of small animals were also observed. Three underground eco-corridors were suggested for the protection of otter habitat in the Shinahn-gun area. Regional development strategies of Shinahn-gun should be focused on the protection of safe and pristine habitat for otter population.

원자력 발전소 및 동위원소 사용기관에서 발생되는 가연성 고체 폐기물 및 유기폐액의 소각기술의 활용에 있어서 이의 안전성 확보를 위한 기술적 기준의 설정을 위한 고려인자들을 조사하였다. 국내외의 소각기술 활용현황을 알아보았고 본 기술의 국내 도입시 필요한 기술적 안전지침에 관한 외국의 사례를 조사하고 국내 관련 규정도 검토, 비교, 분석하여 주요 고려항목을 도출하였다. 안전성 확보를 위한 고려 항목을 크게 일반산업시설 적용항목, 원자력시설 상 안전조건, 소각시설의 기술적 요구사항, 기타 제반사항으로 나누어 제시할 수 있었다. 이들 내용은 기존 원자력 및 환경시설에 적용되는 안전성분석보고서 및 환경영향평가서로 작성될 수 있다고 보았으며 시설의 개요, 시설의 기술적 사항과 이에 따르는 안전을 위한 조건, 폐기물의 인수조건 등이 포함되며 기존 관련 법규의 적용 및 확인이 필요하였다. 기술적 사항에는 공정의 제염계수, 연소효율, 소각재의 형상, 배기가스의 방출농도, 작업자 및 인근주민의 피폭등이 확인되어야 하며 소각재의 처리방법 및 조건이 제시되어야 하고 소각재의 침출특성 등이 주요한 인자라고 보았다. 아울러 소각대상폐기물의 인수조건이 명시되어 소각성능에 따른 이의 안전성이 입증되어야 한다. 따라서 인허가 후 건설된 시설에서의 사용전 시험소각절차의 제시 및 이에 대한 관련 규제기관의 검사제도가 있어야 하며 품질보증절차 역시 관련지침에 따라 실시되어야 한다. 이와 같은 내용을 포함하는 안전기술지침의 설정이 절대적으로 필요하며 본 연구조사 결과의 활용이 기대된다.

본 연구는 제작된 OLED 소자에 UV의 조사시간에 따른 PL intensity 의 감소와 UV power에 따른 PL degradation 변화에 따라 적절한 UV의 조사조건을 찾아 OLEO 소자의 사진이미지를 구현하고자 하였다. 이러한 조건들로부터 얻어진 OLED 소자의 사진이미지 구현을 통하여 그동안 문제점으로만 여겨졌던 UV에 의한 PL degradation 현상이 문제점만이 아닌 다른 하나의 장점으로 발전되어 다른 분야에서 적용될 수 있다고 기대해본다.

Perennial ryegrass의 종자유래 캘러스 및 조직 절편체로부터 식물체 재분화에 적합한 조건을 조사하였다. 종자유래 캘러스로부터 식물체 재분화 조건을 확립하기 위하여, 품종, 배지 및 생장조절물질의 조성 등에 따른 재분화율을 조사하였다. Reveille과 Modus의 품종간 비교에서 종자로부터 형성된 캘러스 생체중은 Reveille이 2,4-D 10mg/$\ell$에서 가장 좋았으며, MS배지가 SH, B5배지보다 더 좋았다.(중략)

The purpose of this study was to find out the effects of auto-mobile tinting upon driver's cognitive responses and behaviors through two laboratory experiments, a field experiment and a traffic accident data. The results of two laboratory experiments showed that there were higher false alarm responses under the conditions of 65%, 50%, 35% tinting level than thoses under the 100% level condition. It was also shown that the drivers who had bad sight made more missing responses than the drivers who had normal vision. The main results of the laboratory experiment were repliceted through both the field experiment and the survey research of car accidents. The results of this study were discussed in terms of the previous studies performed abroad. We strongly suggested 70% tinting level as a regulation standard for safe driving and the strategies for implementing the regulation rule.

For RMR and Q rock mass classification at the design and construction stage, evaluation of groundwater condition is usually based upon the experience due to the restriction of available methods. Based on the results of Taejon LNG Pilot Cavern which acquire joint water pressure, inflow rate of ground water and hydraulic conductivity model, estimates from numerical analysis and analytical solutions were compared to verify each evaluation method. As the result, the Raymer(2001) approach was found to be efficient for estimating inflow rate and corresponding value.

본 연구에서는 가상현실사용자들이 모션베이스를 사용함에 따라 가상현실에 대한 평가가 어떻게 달라지는지를 조사하였다. 33명의 피험자를 대상으로 모션베이스 평가설문과 자기보고를 통해 가상현실에서의 현실감, 재미, 멀미감을 조사하고 가상주행 전, 중, 후에 내장근전위, 피부전도도, 말초체온, 말초혈류량, 심박률, 눈 깜박임의 생리신호를 측정, 분석함으로써 모션베이스 유무에 따른 심리·생리적인 변수들에서의 차이를 알아보았다. 모든 피험자는 2주 간격으로 모션베이스 사용조건과 모션베이스를 사용하지 않는 조건에서 두 번 가상현실을 경험하였다. 가상현실에 대한 현실감, 재미항목에서 모두 모션베이스를 사용한 조건이 높은 점수를 나타냈다. 또한 모션베이스를 사용한 조건에서 멀미보고수가 감소하는 경향이 나타났다. Tachyarrythmia의 상대파워 변화량과 PPG 최대진폭의 평균변화량 비교는 모션베이스를 사용한 가상현실 조건이 생리적인 요동을 적게 일으키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들은 시각제시기와 동기화된 모션베이스를 도입함으로써, 가상현실에 대한 현실감은 높이면서 멀미감은 줄일 수 있다는 가능성을 보여준다.
