The Properties of Early Strength of Concrete Containing Slag and Fly-ash for In-situ Application (현장 적용을 위한 3성분계 콘크리트의 조기강도 특성)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the characteristics which are slump, air content and time of set in fresh concrete and compressive strength of hardened concrete containing slag powder and fly-ash. Replacement rate of FA is fixed on 10$\%$ and replacement rate of slag powder are 0$\%$, 20$\%$ and 30$\%$. Also AE water-reducing agents(standard type, accelerating type) are used. The results were as follows. (1)Slump flow of concrete using AE water-reducing agents is similar. Flowability is incresed when replacement rate of slag powder is increased due to slag powder's ball bearing reaction.(2)Time of set of concrete using accelerating type agent is more faster than that of concrete using standard type agent because of ettringite generation that promote setting.(3)Early strength of three-component concrete using accelerating type agent is higher than that using standard type agent. Therefore cumulative pore is reduced due to ettringite

Investigation of Flexural Toughness Development of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete at Early Ages (강섬유 보강 콘크리트의 조기 재령에서의 휨 인성 발현에 관한 연구)

  • Since the mechanical properties of cement-based materials are time-dependent due to the prolonged cement hydration process, those of fiber reinforced concrete(FRC) may also be time-dependent. Toughness is one of important properties of FRC. Therefore, it should be investigated toughness development of FRCs with curing ages to fully understand the time-dependent characteristics of FRCs. To this end, the effect of curing ages on flexural toughness development of steel fiber reinforced concrete is studied. Three point bending test with notched beam specimen was adapted for this study. Hooked-end steel fiber(DRAMIX 40/30) was used as a fiber ingredient to investigate w/c ratio and fiber volume fraction effect on toughness development during curing. Three different water-cement ratios(0.44, 0.5 and 0.6) and fiber volume fractions(0%, 0.5% and 1%) were used as influence factors. Each mixture specimens were tested at five different ages, 0.5, 1, 3, 7 and 28 days. The study shows that flexure toughness development with age is quite different than other concrete material properties such as compressive strength. The study also shows that the toughness development trend correlates more closely to water/cement ratio than to fiber volume fraction.

Reduction of Coupling in Tensile and Flexure Composite Specimens (인장 및 굽힘 복합재료 시험편의 커플링 완화 방안)

  • The mechanical properties of generally orthotropic materials are conventionally measured by performing off-axis tensile and flexure tests. However, the inevitable coupling between tension and shear in case of tensile test or bending and twisting in flexure test case induces nonuniform displacement and stress fields. Consequential stress concentration along the boundary of specimens would result in inaccurate modulus and underestimated strength. This paper proposes the variation of specimen geometry in terms of appropriate obliquity of loaded boundary. For the purpose, classical lamination theory is transformed into skewed coordinate, and characteristic equations for both of unidirectional and laminated composite specimens are formulated. Finite element analysis is employed to show the validity of the skewedness in tensile and bending test specimens.

  • This study examines thermal safety on three-way catalyst that dominates 70% among whole exhaust gas purification device in 2003. Three-way catalyst maintains high temperature in interior domain but maintains low temperature on outside surface. Therefore this device shows tensile stress on outside surface. Temperature distribution of three-way catalyst was acquired by thermal flow analysis for predicted thermal flow parameter. Thermal stress analysis for three-way catalysis was performed based on this temperature distribution. Thermal safety of three-way catalyst was estimated by strength reduction factor and failure probability.

  • Objectives: This study presents a case of a 37-year-old Korean male with dystonia due to dystonic cerebral palsy who was treated with herbal medicine (Ukgan-san), acupuncture, and cupping treatment.Method: We executed the unified dystonia rating scale (UDRS) and the Toronto western spasmodic torticollis rating scale (TWSTRS) to evaluate dystonia.Results: The patient’s dystonia showed improvement after the administration of traditional Korean medical treatments.Conclusion: Traditional Korean medical treatment may be effective in treating dystonia due to dystonic cerebral palsy.

Two Case Studies of Scalp Acupuncture on Post-stroke Global Aphasia Patients (뇌졸중으로 유발된 전체성 실어증 환자에 대한 두침치료 치험 2례)

  • Objectives: This study presents two cases of patients with post-stroke global aphasia who were treated with scalp acupuncture with electrical stimulation.Method: The two patients were treated by scalp acupuncture with electrical stimulation six times a week. The degree of aphasia was measured via the Korean version of the western aphasia battery (K-WAB).Results: After treatment, aphasia was improved in both cases (autism-spectrum quotient [AQ] scores increased from 13.7 to 37.1 and from 4.1 to 18.4 in the two patients).Conclusion: Based on the results of these two cases, scalp acupuncture could be effective in treating post-stroke global aphasia.

  • 이상기후로 인해 돌발적이고 국지적인 호우 발생의 빈도가 증가하게 되면서 짧은 선행시간(~3 시간) 범위에서 수치예보보다 높은 정확도를 갖는 초단시간 강우예측자료가 돌발홍수 및 도시홍수의 조기경보를 위해 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 일반적으로 초단시간 강우예측 정보는 레이더를 활용하여 외삽 및 이동벡터 기반의 예측기법으로 산정한다. 최근에는 장기간 레이더 관측자료의 확보와 충분한 컴퓨터 연산자원으로 인해 레이더 자료를 활용한 인공지능 심층학습 기반(RNN(Recurrent Neural Network), CNN(Convolutional Neural Network), Conv-LSTM 등)의 강우예측이 국외에서 확대되고 있고, 국내에서도 ConvLSTM 등을 활용한 연구들이 진행되었다. CNN 심층신경망 기반의 초단기 예측 모델의 경우 대체적으로 외삽기반의 예측성능보다 우수한 경향이 있었으나, 예측시간이 길어질수록 공간 평활화되는 경향이 크게 나타나므로 고강도의 뚜렷한 강수 특징을 예측하기 힘들어 예측정확도를 향상시키는데 중요한 소규모 기상현상을 왜곡하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계를 보완하기 위해 적대적 생성 신경망(Generative Adversarial Network, GAN)을 적용한 초단시간 예측기법을 활용하고자 한다. GAN은 생성모형과 판별모형이라는 두 신경망이 서로간의 적대적인 경쟁을 통해 학습하는 신경망으로, 데이터의 확률분포를 학습하고 학습된 분포에서 샘플을 쉽게 생성할 수 있는 기법이다. 본 연구에서는 2017년부터 2021년까지의 환경부 대형 강우레이더 합성장을 수집하고, 강우발생 사례를 대상으로 학습을 수행하여 신경망을 최적화하고자 한다. 학습된 신경망으로 강우예측을 수행하여, 국내 기상청과 환경부에서 생산한 레이더 초단시간 예측강우와 정량적인 정확도를 비교평가 하고자 한다.

Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Pleural Adhesiotomy and Decortication for Complicated Pleural Space Occupying Lesions (복잡한 흉막강내 공간차지병소의 흉강경적 흉막 유착박리술 및 박피술)

  • Background: Complicated pleural space occupying lesions (SOL) have been treated by thoracentesis, closed thoracotomy drainage (CTD) or surgical intervention with using a video thoracosocpe or open thoracotomy depending on the extent of the disease. With the development of video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS), VATS pleural adhesiolysis and decortication have revealed good results as compared to those for open thorcotomy. To assess the effectiveness of VATS pleural adhesiolysis and decortication, we retrospectively analyzed the medical record and radiologic findings of the patients with complicated pleural SOL and who were treated by this surgery. Material and Method: From May 1996 to April 2006, 64 patients (mean age: 41.8 years) with complicated pleural SOL underwent 65 VATS. To analyze the surgical outcome, we classified the postoperative findings on the simple chest X-rays into 4 classes as Class I: no or minimal pleural lesion, Class II: blunting of the cardiophrenic angle and mild pleural thickening, Class III: an elevated diaphgram or persistent lung collapse and Class IV: complicated or recurrent effusion. Result: Before VATS, the patients underwent the diagnostic or therapeutic procedures: single or repeat diagnostic tapping for 41, thoracoscotomy drainage for 11, pigtail catheter drainage for 10 and intrapleural fibrinolytics for 10. The mean duration between the onset of symptom and surgery was 18.4 days. There was neither mortality nor severe complications. The surgical outcomes were class 1 for 28, class 2 for 13, class 3 for 19 and class 4 for 5. There were statistically significant differences between the symptom duration and the classes, and between the operation time and the classes. Conclusion: VATS pleural adhesiolysis and decortication are effective, safe treatments for managing complicated pleural SOL, and an earlier operation is needed for obtaining a better surgical outcome.

Development of Turbidity Management System for Nakdong River using Water Quality Model (수질모형을 이용한 낙동강 탁도관리시스템 구축)

  • 여름철 집중강우시 유입되는 고탁수층은 저수지의 밀도성층으로 인하여 표수층 하부에 위치하며, 이를 적기에 배제하지 않을 경우에는 수평방향의 확산현상과 연직방향의 전도현상으로 인해 저수지 전역에 분포하게 되어, 탁수현상의 장기화를 유발한다. 이와 같은 탁수장기화에 대한 저수지내 대책의 하나로서 홍수유입후 탁도가 높은 물을 단기간동안 방류하고, 갈수기에는 탁도가 낮은 물을 방류하는 선택취수 기법을 적용할 수 있다. 임하댐의 경우, 2004년 태풍 '디앤무'와 태풍 '메기'로 인해 발생한 탁수를 선택취수를 통하여 조기에 배제함으로써 호내탁도를 저감시킨 바 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 고탁수 우선배제 기법은 반드시 하류하천의 영향범위를 사전에 분석검토하고, 하류하천의 수질현황을 고려한 합리적인 운영방안이 제시되어야 한다. 2004년 태풍 '디앤무' 발생직후의 댐방수로에서 170 NTU의 고탁수를 방류한 경우, 유하거리 250 km인 지점까지 30 NTU이상 유지된 바 있으며, 태풍 '메기'에 의한 고탁수 유입시, 임하댐 방류수 157 NTU, 안동댐 방류수 37 NTU인 경우에 임하댐 하류 113 km인 구미 선산 취수장까지 63 NTU의 탁도가 유지된 바 있다. 현재 임하댐의 경우, 하류하천으로의 방류수 수질을 모니터링할 수 있는 자동수질측정시스템이 발전취수탑 전면 1개소, 조정지댐 1개소에 설치되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동수질측정시스템과 연계하여 수질모형을 통하여 임하댐 하류하천인 낙동강 본류의 탁도관리시스템을 구축하고자 하였다. 환경부의 수질측정망 자료를 통하여 최근 3년간의 부유사농도의 변화양상을 분석하였으며, 태풍 직후의 낙동강 주요지점별 탁도측정자료를 이용하여 임하댐 고탁도방류에 의한 영향범위를 분석하였다. 또한 하천수질모형을 이용하여 탁수예측방법에 대하여 검토하였고, 이를 이용한 탁도관리시스템 구축을 위한 기본 방향을 제시하고자 한다.함께, 2단계에 (주)웹솔루스에서 자체적으로 설치 운영하고 있는 2개소의 하수관거 모니터링 관측시설, 그리고 안양시에서 운영하고 있는 5개소의 강우관측소와 7개소의 수위관측소를 모두 통합하여 실시간 자료를 제공하고 있다. 수위자료는 10분단위의 텍스트정보와 그래프형태로 지원되며, 검색기간 설정을 통해 원하는 기간내의 자료를 선별, 검색할 수 있다.. 또한 이와 같은 기초적인 정보를 바탕으로 하류하천의 탁수 피해를 최소화할 수 있는 선택취수탑의 운영방안을 수립할 수 있다 본 연구에서는 이를 위해 선택취수탑 주위의 성층흐름을 기존의 실험자료와 수치해석을 통하여 분석하였고, 온도성층구조나 취수구의 위치변화에 따른 방류수 수질특성을 조사하였다.쇄파대(artifical reef)와 같은 완충지대를 갖는 호안을 축조함으로써 월파량을 감소시키는 대안으로 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구 수행을 통해 태풍 내습시 발생 가능한 자연재해에 대한 사전 방지를 목적으로 태풍피해의 원인을 제시하고 이를 해결하여 현재의 방재대책이 항구적인 방재대책으로 전환될 수 있는 방안 마련의 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다., L-arabinose, 및 D-galactose; 제3차(第三次) 가수분해물(加水分解物)(C)에서 L-rhamnose, D-xylose, L-arabinose 및 D-galactose, 비가수분해물(非加水分解物)(C')에서 D-xylose와 D-galactose를 검출(檢出)하였다. A Study on the Properties of Recycled Concrete Using Recycled Fine Aggregates with different Removal formulas of Powder In Aggregate (미분 제거방식이 다른 2종의 재생 잔골재가 콘크리트외 특성에 미치는 영향)

  • The research conducted to study the potential practicability of recycled aggregate concrete by analyzing the characteristics of concretes made of recycled quality aggregates produced by wet and dry process has found the following results. The air content of recycled aggregate concrete increased with increase of the substitut on rate due to mortar included while producing recycled aggregates. However, the concretes with aggregate produced by dry process had relatively low rate of increase in air content. The slump showed generally decreasing trend as the substitution rate of recycled aggregate increased regardless of the wet or dry process. It was assumed that the mortar particles remained in recycled aggregate absorbed the surplus hydration in concrete and decreased fluidity The compressive strength generally decreased as the substitution rate of recycled aggregate increased, however there was an increasing trend as well due to decreasing effect of water-cement ratio when the substitution rate of recycled aggregate reached 25, 50% after mix. This phenomena also appeared in early age, which meant that recycled aggregate concrete should not be retarded in setting when applied in the field. The tensile strength also reached the maximum when wet or dry recycled aggregate replaced with 25%. To conclude, recycled aggregates for concrete produced by wet or dry process are expected to demonstrate essential characteristics of concrete without significant decline in physical or dynamic quality when the substitution rate is below 25% although there are variations subject to water-cement ratio. However, slight differences are expected due to types of recycled aggregate and physical quality.
