This paper is to find the theme and meaning of the Beauvais Grotesque tapestry considered a conundrum. The three works are chosen from Beauvais Grotesque consisting of six tapestries, which are The Offering to Pan, The Musician and Dancers, The Camel in the J. Paul Getty Museum. I analyzed these works by dividing them into grotesque ornaments, chinoiserie motifs, and scenography. The Offering to Pan shows the influence of Raphael's Grotesque tapestry, but Beauvais work followed the design of Jean Berain's Grotesque with arabesque. In The Musician and Dancers, chinese ceramics, textiles, and Chinese people in edge were noted. Especially, the Chinese with yellow skin in the border reveals the European gaze on China at that time. In the 18th century, Chinoiserie was prevalent through stage designs rather than books. The Camel, playing Brighella, makes it clear that this tapestry is a stage of Comedia dell'arte. The characteristic of Comedia is a mixture of genres such as music and dance, with no scripting 'improvisation.' Features of Comedia are 'improvisation' without a script and a mixture of genres such as music and dance. Thus, the Grotesque tapestry transfers the stage of the Comedia into threads woven. In addition, the horizontal stage decoration with the disappearance of the perspective vanishing point is related to the era of regent of Philippe d'Orl?ans (1674-1723). Above all, the grotesque, Chinoiserie, and scenography are all fantasies separated from reality. Therefore, the Beauvais Grotesque tapestry represents of 'improvisation' and 'fantasy' in which there is no narrative theme or meaning, as if the script of Comedia did not exist.

초고속인터넷의 발전과 더불어 영화, 게임, 음악, e-북 등과 같은 다양한 형태의 디지털콘텐츠들이 복합적으로 융합되는 '컨버전스'양상까지 보이고 있다. 전문가들은 21세기는 콘텐츠가 하드웨어를 지배하는 시대가 될 것으로 전망한다. 콘텐츠는 그만큼 부가가치가 높은 상품이라는 얘기다. 이에 따라 세계 최고의 IT인프라를 자랑하는 우리나라에서도 국가경쟁력 향상을 위해 디지털콘텐츠산업을 적극 육성해야 한다는 목소리가 높다. 한국소프트웨어진흥원내에 자리잡은 디지털콘텐츠제작지원센터는 이런 추세에 부응해 설립, 운영되고 있는 콘텐츠 제작소로 디지털콘텐츠산업 활성화에 한 몫을 담당하며 관련업계의 이목을 끌고 있다.

3상유도전동기의 고정자권선방식에 일반적으로 사용되고 있는 권선방식에는 스롯트내에 삽입방법에 따라 단층권과 2층권이 있으며 단층권은 주로 동심권에 그리고 2층권은 주로 중권방식에 채용되고 있다. 단층권과 2층권은 각각 그 특징과 장단점을 갖고 있는데 여기에 기술하는 새로운 권선방식은 문제점을 해결한 독특한 방식으로서 일본의 일립제작소의 원산씨의 3상유도전동기의 권선방식을 소개코져 한다. 원산씨는 이 방식을 채용함으로서 기계권이 실현되어 높은 신뢰성을 가진 전동기를 제작할 수 있게 되었을 뿐만 아니라 효율, 토오크등의 특성을 종래의 방식에 의한 것보다 일층 향상시킬 수 있게 하였다. 여기서는 이의 권선방식과 이를 채용한 전동기의 특성 및 이에 관련된 권선기계화와 권선첵크법들의 개요에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

목재를 주요 소재로 한 생활가구를 주력으로 하는 스탠다드에이는 OEM 가구가 아닌 디자인부터 재료 선정과 가공(제작), 마감까지 전 과정을 담당하는, 오리지널 가구와 비스포크(맞춤) 가구를 취급하는 디자인스튜디오라고 할 수 있다. 제작자의 노력과 고민이 제품의 수명과 직결된다는 신념 아래 소재와 기능에 대한 그동안의 경험치를 바탕으로 정직함이 묻어나는 가구를 추구하는 이들. 현재는 파주에 제작소를, 서울 합정역 인근에 쇼룸을 두고 있으며 다양한 개인 또는 기업의 의뢰를 받아 작업을 해오고 있다. 지난 7월 8일, 스탠다드에이의 쇼룸에서 두 명의 실장을 만났다.

This is a preliminary study on the MEMS(Miro Electro Mechanical System) electrostatic power generator. It suggested a converting device to change from the electrostatic to the dynamic electricity. To testify, it used Silvaco simulation tools(Athena and Atlas) and fabricated the converting device. The result of the simulation and test it seems to convert electrostatic into dynamic electricity effectively.

우리나라도 자동차공업의 시대에 돌입되고 있고, 또 그 수출에도 많은 실적을 올리고 있는때에, 자동차공업에서 그 생산공정상 마찰용접법을 빼놓을 수 없는 시기에 이르렀다고 생각되어, 이에 관하여 해설하고자 한다. 마찰용접기는 자동차공업에 도입됨과 동시에 그 모양, 기능 및 부속장치의 변혁이 이루어졌다고 말할 수 있다. 가까운 일본에서는 1963 년 5 월에 (주)풍전 자동기계제작소에서 마찰용접기 제 1호기가 발표되어진 이래, 약 13 년 후에 자동차 관련부품에 대한 마찰용접기의 적용비율이 전 사용기계의 반정도를 차지하고 있다고 한다. 자동차 공업에 대한 마찰용접은 비용의 감소 보다는 품질의 우수화를 위한 압접이음을 얻는 것을 목적으로 실용화가 시도되어지고 있는 경우가 많다. 여기에 자동차 공업에 대한 마찰용접의 실제를 서술하고, 마찰용접기술 도입의 참고로 했으면 한다.

하수 처리장에 사용되는 펌프는 엄격한 사양 및 성능 보장이 필요하므로 펌프 효율이 높아야 하며, 실적에 의한 사양 제시, 엄격한 검사 제도 및 기준이 이루어져야 한다. 그러나 현재로서는 국내에서 설계 제작면에서 경험과 실적이 부족하나 앞으로 많은 하수처리장에서 펌프가 소요 되며, 상수도용 펌프와 비교할 때 중소형의 경우에는 고가인 것을 감안하면 볼류트형(volute type)의 슬러지 펌프는 상수용 펌프에서의 경험을 바탕으로 기술 개발에 힘을 기울이고 전무제 작자를 육성하여 기술 축적 및 적절한 설비가 구비되도록 하여 실질적인 품질보증이 이루어지 도록 하여야 한다. 또한 특수펌프인 프로그레싱 캐비티 펌프나 스크류우 펌프에 대하여는 경 험이 부족하므로 프로그레싱 캐비티 펌프의 경우 로우터(rotor)와 스테이터(stator)를 수입하여 조립하거나 스크류유 펌프의 경우 기술 제휴를 통한 기술 개발을 이룩하는 방법을 택할 수도 있을 것이다. 현재 중소제작소에서 일부 기종에 대하여 외국인에 의한 중소기업진흥공단 주관의 단기간 기술지도를 받고 있으나 이에 대한 기술개발을 위하여는 전문기관과 장기적인 기술협력과 기술양성에 대한 투자가 이루어지고 전문업체가 육성되어야 할 것이나 이로서 중요 설비인 펌 프의 국산화가 조기에 달성되고 외화절약 및 기술정착이 이루어질 것이다.

This paper described the unbalanced voltage on the tertiary bus of a single Phase auto transformer in the case of parallel operation with different manufacturer at each Phase. The unbalanced capacitances between primary to secondary winding, secondary to tertiary winding and primary to tertiary winding makes unbalanced bus voltage in the tertiary bus side. The unbalanced voltage let the surge arrester to operate in the power frequency range, and it causes the arrester to burn out. The failure of the arrester at one phase makes line to ground fault, which lead to the surge arrester failure of the other two phase on the tertiary bus.
