This study is to carry out meta-analysis on doctoral dissertations which had been written after 2004 when the empirical analysis about digital politics had begun. This study aims to identify tendency of recent analysis. For this purpose, it classifies the research trends of digital politics as political participation, political process, political advertising and election campaigns, and examines the researcher's definition, framework of empirical analysis, and all the results. Moreover, the study systematically summarizes the research model, analysis unit, concept and its components in order to ensure availablity so that the information could be available for the further research.

This study is a convergence study to understand the impact of political efficacy, political interest, and global citizenship on political participation. Participants were 3rd and 4th grade 155 nursing students. The data were analyzed t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation and multiple regression. The result is that factors influencing the political participation were political efficacy(r=.27, p=.001), political interest(r=.42, p<.001), and attitude in global citizenship(r=-.24, p=.003). The higher political interest(β=.37) and political efficacy(β=.21), the lower the Global citizenship_Attitude, the higher political participation. A total of 25.7% of political participation was explained. In order to increase political participation, the results suggest it is necessary to political education for enhancing political interest and efficacy.

This study is about motivations of using YouTube channels related to politics and its effects on political socialization. Information acquisition from the political channels of YouTube was analyzed from the perspective of uses and gratifications theory. Then, the effects of the variable factors which can influence the perception-attitude-action of political socializations were reviewed. To understand aforesaid aspects, online survey was conducted targeting male and female adults between 20 to 50-year-old. There were four factors observed for the motivations of using YouTube channels of politics, which were 'entertainment of political satire', 'mental stability', 'convenience of the media', and 'pursuit of information'. The impacts on political socialization were verified with path analysis. Among the various motivations of using YouTube channels, 'convenience of the media' and 'pursuit of information' were the factors that positively affected the acquirement of political knowledges. Political knowledges had meaningful influences on increasing people's interest in politics, and their sense of political efficacy. Increased interest in politics led to higher level of sensing political efficacy, then higher political efficacy positively motivated people to participate in politics. The theoretical and practical implications of the study were also discussed based on the findings.

This research analysis politic knowledge, politic awareness and politic socialization medium which influenced forming politic awareness for high school students. This purpose is that we find politic awareness of teenagers and how we teach politic education for teenagers effectively. After analysis, we found that awareness formed through home, school, colleague group and mess media influence teenagers to make their important factor of forming politic and administration and awareness level of politic and administration.

This study examined the interactive effects of selective exposure, political orientation, and political interest on YouTube political video users' attitude polarization. The results are presented as follows. In relation to research question 1 and 2, attitude polarization toward selective exposure and political orientation, selective exposure and political interest of YouTube political video users was examined. As a result, in the same selective exposure, the main effect on attitude polarization 'I' was found. Therefore, it was found that the higher the selective exposure of YouTube users to political videos, the stronger the attitude polarization toward YouTube users themselves. In relation to research question 3, attitude polarization toward political orientation and political interest of YouTube political video users was examined. As a result, the interaction effect on the attitude polarization 'I' was found in the political orientation and political interest. Therefore, when political interest in both progressive and conservative tendencies is high, the attitude polarization toward YouTube users themselves is also strengthened.

This paper identifies the dimensions of political risk on the basis of the classification between risk and uncertainties to implement the precise identification and assessment of the various types of political risk and develop the sound assessment model to accomplish their practical applications. This paper shows the concrete and detailed processes of deriving the assessment models and applying them with the microsoft excel spreadsheet, confirms the result of Butler and Joaquin(1998), and presents the methods of identifying the various combination effects of the political risk impact and the covariance relationship with the market portfolio return through the sensitivity analysis.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the usefulness of the concept of political efficacy and political trust as a way of explaining the development of political participation in the young people under the new age of the Internet. From the survey in which 221 university students participated, there were several findings: first, overall political efficacy has a predominant effect on political participation in both offline and online; second, political trust has little impact on the political participation of the youth; third, there showed up two interaction effects between political efficacy and political trust for the online conventional and unconventional participation in politics. It is found that in high efficacy group people with low trust are most likely to participate, while in medium efficacy group people with high trust are most likely to participate. In low efficacy group, however, political trust didn't make any difference in political participation. There are more factors that may predict political participation, such as political interest, political knowledge, political ideology, and demographic variables. For future studies, it is necessary to examine the effect of political efficacy and political trust in combination with these other variables to explain political participation by offline and online.

Studies on the SNS political participation have covered issues of SNS effect on political participation, electoral campaigns, and the public sphere. Such issues as characteristics of SNS political participation, the characteristics of SNS users, SNS effect on the political participation, active SNS political participants, and the impact on young people's political participation, etc. have been studied in the area of political participation effect. On the election issues, SNS impact on election turnout, voting behavior, and the election results were main research topics. Finally, the research on the public sphere mainly discussed topics of quality of SNS information and social fragmentation phenomenon. What is commonly observed across all the three subjects is that the conflicting claims appear to almost all the topics. These contradictory findings are likely to occur because variables of real politics are not fully taken into account and research variables are not strictly manipulated. We can get more accurate research results in the study of SNS political participation when we conduct cross-national research reflecting the context of real politics and also designing independent variables more in detail and elaborately.

This study is to analyze whether the use of SNS in politics has any political effects. Most previous studies on political participation by SNS tended to just focus on the participation difference between SNS users and non-users. The test results first show that the development of ICT increases citizens' interest in political information and differentiate the methods of their political participation. Second, we identified SNS users tend to have higher reliability in political information and greater transversion effects by the use of media. Finally, the study verifies SNS is a more effective tool in collective actions such as non-customary rallies and demonstration rather than in customary political participation.
