The Harmonic Reduction Design of IPMSM No-load line-line Back-EMF for ISG (ISG용 매입형 영구자석 동기 전동기 무부하 선간 역기전력 고조파 저감설계)

  • This paper presents a method for reducing the Total Harmonic Distortion(THD) of line-line back_EMF of the IPMSM with distributed winding under the no-load condition. Firstly, the specific harmonic components of line-line back EMF are reduced considering with winding factor. Secondly, THD of line-line back EMF is minimized according to change of pole angle using by Space harmonic Analysis. Finally, the optimal design for minimizing the THD is conducted using response surface methodology with finite element analysis. The validity of the design method dealt with in this paper is demonstrated by comparison between the THD of optimal model and initial model.

Analysis of Multi-directional Random Waves Propagating over Multi Arrayed Submerged Breakwaters as Varying Crown Widths (폭 변화에 따른 다열 불투과성 수중방파제를 통과하는 다방향 불규칙파랑 해석)

  • In this study, transmission and reflection of multi-directional random waves propagating over multi-arrayed submerged breakwaters are investigated using eigenfunction expansion method. The numerical analysis on the wave energy reflection of submerged breakwaters with various crown widths is carried out. Strong wave reflection is occurred at the Bragg reflection condition of the peak frequency. When relative heights and crown widths of breakwaters are equal to 0.6 and 0.4h, respectively, more than 25% of wave energy is reflected to off shore.

  • In this paper, the single patch microstrip antenna and gap coupled broadband microstrip patch antenna using FDTD(Finite Difference Time Domain method) are analyzed. Mur's 2nd absorbing boundary condition to minimize reflected wave is applied. Return loss, voltage standing wave ratio, and input impedance by the length and width of driving patch, the length and width of parasitic patch, and the distance between driving patch and parasitic patch have been analyzed. Design parameters and radiation patterns of broadband antenna have been also shown.

  • 음성인식 기술은 크게 음성인식과 화자인식 기술의 두 가지로 분류된다. 현재는 음성인식 기술이 널리 연구되고 있지만 점차 화자인식 기술의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 화자인식 기술의 한 가지 분류로 임의 화자를 식별하기 위한 화자식별 기술을 연구 대상으로 하고 있으며, 신경회로망을 이용한 화자식별 시스템의 특징 추출 방법을 제시하고 그에 따른 성능을 비교하고 있다. 식별 단계에서 26명의 78개의 음성 샘플을 신경회로망의 역전파 알고리듬을 이용하여 학습하고, 테스트용으로 한 화자의 음성샘플이 사용되어 식별된다. 신경회로망의 입력 변수는 특징 파라미터로 선형예측계수, Mel-주파수 켑스트럼계수와 웨이블릿을 이용한 켑스트럼 계수를 사용하였다. 그 결과로써 화자식별 시스템의 신경회로망 모델2의 입력으로 혼합된 특징 파라미터를 사용한 경우가 다른 파라미터들을 사용한 경우와 비교하여 8.46~21.53%의 차를 가지고 가장 좋은 성능을 나타내었다.

  • In this paper, a new line-commutated SCR inverter for renewable power generation system is proposed. The proposed inverter system includes a 6-pulse SCR inverter and an auxiliary circuit. By the proper operation of the auxiliary circuit, the pulse number of the inverter system is increased and the output voltages and currents harmonics are significantly reduced. Analysis, control and simulation for 24-pulse operation of the proposed scheme is Presented and the experimental results from a laboratory Prototype verify the proposed theory.

  • Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) has developed a Web-based, remote, Internet calibration system to calibrate the Fluke 5700A/5720A calibrator using a transportable standard: specifically, multifunction transfer standard 4950. Although the uncertainty for the Internet calibration is up to two times larger than that using conventional manual calibration, it has many advantages: no need to transport the customer equipment, a reduction in the calibration service time, a directly enforced traceability to the national standards, convenience, and ease of use for the customers.

  • 본 연구에서 사용한 부유식방파제는 상치의 공기주입량에 따라 흘수심을 조절할 수 있으며, 부유식방파제 입사면과 투과면에 하부슬릿을 두어 입사파랑의 제어가 가능하도록 고안하였다. 또한, 수리 모형실험에서는 카테너리(catenary) 계류시스템의 계류각 변화에 따른 장력특성을 분석하였다. 일반적으로 계류시스템은 계류점, 계류형상 및 인장정도에 따라 구분된다. 본 연구에서는 부유식방파제의 6자유도 운동 중 2차원운동에 따른 장력특성 분석을 위하여 4점 계류를 채택하였으며, 계류형상은 일정 동요량을 허용하지만 안전성이 높은 카테너리형을 적용하였다. 수리모형실험을 통하여 투수성 부유식방파제의 장력특성을 분석하고, 입사파랑 변화에 따른 계류시스템의 안전성을 분석한 결과, 투수성부유식방파제는 계류각 전 구간에서 무공형부유식방파제에 비하여 최대장력이 낮게 측정되었으며 안전성이 확보되었다.

Analysis and Design of a Wideband Corrugated Conical Horn Antenna Based on Mode Matching Converter (모드정합 컨버터에 기반한 광대역 원뿔형 주름 혼안테나 설계 및 분석)

  • In this paper, the design methodology of a corrugated conical horn antenna is proposed to be obtain wide-band properties over the full range of frequencies in the Ku-band. In order to improve the properties of the corrugated conical horn antenna, such as its gain, VSWR, co-polarization to cross-polarization ratio and wide-bandwidth, two types of mode matching converters are implemented within it. One is located at the end of the circular waveguide, while the other is positioned in front of the horn-flare section. The properties of the antenna are analyzed and compared according to the position of the proposed converters through simulations. In the comparison of the antenna performance in the case where the VSWR, co-polarization to cross-polarization ratio and antenna gain over the Ku band of 12-18 GHz are less than 2, greater than 30dB and 20dB respectively, the former antenna exhibits greater stability and a wider frequency band than the latter from the viewpoint of transmitting and receiving signals simultaneously. Therefore, considering the gain, VSWR, radiation pattern and bandwidth, the horn antenna structure in which the mode matching converter is implemented inside the circular waveguide has better performance than the other.

Input Impedance Calculation of the Power Line Communication System (전력선 통신 시스템의 입력 임피던스 계산)

  • In this paper, we calculated the input impedance of the power line communication(PLC) networks using medium voltage power line. First of all, we proposed input and output teoninal model of PLC network, and calculated the input impedance applying the attenuation constants by radiation loss, conductor loss, dielectric loss. From the calculation result, we knew that the attenuation by radiation loss was largest, and the input impedance appears like a standing wave fonn with a fixed cycle because the high reflection at the input terminal for the characteristic impedance of the power line is very large. And also the cycle of input impedance depends on the coaxial cable length, and the amplitude depends on the characteristic impedance of power line and losses. From the measurement result, calculated result was very similar to the measured result.

Study on the Elimination of Residual Voltage in Quarter Wave Short Stub Surge Arrestor (4분의 1 파장 단락 스터브 방식 서지 어레스터의 잔여 전압 제거에 관한 연구)

  • The lightning with high voltage and current can enter the basestations for mobile communication through their antenna. The device which can protect the basestation against the lightning, is surge arrestor. In this paper, the concept, kind, operating mechanism, design and fabrication of surge arrestor were studied. Based on the studied data, variable surge arrestors were designed for the current mobile communication service like a cellular, GSM and PCS and the next generation mobile communication like a IMT-2000. Computer simulation for the prediction of their characteristics and inner structure optimization for the improvement of their electrical characteristics were carried with high frequency 3D structure simulator. Quarter wave short stub surge arrestors for IMT-2000 were fabricated with their final design and then the measurement of electrical characteristics and the lightning test were executed. As a results of measurement, we obtained below 1.05 of VSWR, -0.035 dB of insertion loss, -150 dBc of intermodulation and 7∼ll V of residual voltage.
