  • New materials are being considered for insulator of railroad vehicles. Because people want more environmental material than glass fiber, there are certain needs of finding safe and economical insulating material. We checked the flammability of some kinds insulators such as PE foam, neoprene rubber foam. melamine foam and glass fiber. You could find out the characteristics such as oxygen index. optical smoke density, toxicity index of that insulators.

  • Many researchers make efforts to develope an effective material with anti-tracking property. Specially, the porcelain type insulator is required exchanging to polymer insulator according to the environmental consideration. In this paper, we have developed the estimation system using the translated IEC-60587 test for the application of actual insulator. Those approach has been very successful applied to the various practical insulator.

  • In this study we reported the Smoke Density test method of interior panel of railroad passenger car and investigated the specific smoke density(Ds) by NBS smoke chamber to the variance of some test conditions. First we compared the result of Ds from ISO 5659-2 with that from ASTM E662 for same phenol FRP Secondary studied the Ds value to the variance of resin type and to the variance of specimen shape.

  • As the air pollution caused by diesel vehicles goes worse, so non-road vehicles exhaust gas standards are more strict in an foreign countries. There is growing evidence that diesel vehicles could play the important role in determining health effects. Most of the particle number emitted by diesel engines is in the nanopaticle range, D$\_$p/ < 50nm, while most of the mass is in the accumulation mode, 50nm < D$\_$p/ < 1000nm range. The aim of this work was to investigate pollutants in the exhaust of railroad diesel rolling stock under load tests.

  • 본고에서는 수많은 구성요소가 하나의 계를 이루면서 단순하지 않은 방식으로 서로 얽혀있는 상호작용을 하는 복잡계 연결망에서의 정보 확산에 관한 연구 동향을 살펴보고자 한다. 특히 복잡계 연결망 이론은 실생활에서 나타나는 다양한 연결구조와 이와 관련된 사회현상을 자연과학의 이론을 통해 분석 및 해석하는 분야로, 다양한 학제간의 융합연구로 각광받고 있다. 특히 복잡계 연결망의 최근 연구 결과를 비롯하여 실생활에 존재하는 다양한 대용량 자료를 활용한 사회 동역학과 정보 확산에 관한 최근 연구 동향 분석을 통해 재해의 확산 및 재난 상황에서의 행동 양상 형성 및 전파 등의 연구에 활용하고자 한다.

  • This study investigated electrical characteristic of solids and liquid epoxy resins by measuring dielectric breakdown and dielectric loss when epoxy resins were exposed to a mixing cure. It was found that mixing epoxy resins were superior to dielectric breakdown and hardness and has shorter curing time compare with those of pure liquid epoxy resins.

  • New concept of coating process, which is called Electro Magnetic Levitation-Physical Vapour deposition (EML-PVD) was developed and investigated. Zinc coating was performed and succeeded for the first time on the steel strip (Cold-rolled Steel) in a continuos pilot line using the EML-PVD process which is specialized in the high deposition rate and high vapor yield. EML-PVD will be expected to be the next generation coating technology to be applied to the steel industry.

  • Research is being actively conducted to increase energy production by increasing the length of wind turbine blades. However, it is difficult to manufacture and transport large-scale blades. Various studies are being conducted on the concept of separate wind turbine blades considering transportation methods and maintenance. In this study, various methods of dividing blades and assembling the divided blades were reviewed. The position of the division when the blades are divided was analyzed.

  • 본 연구는 TFT-LCD 부품인 Back Light Unit의 광원 역할을 하는 CCFL Assembly 공정을 분석하여 최적의 공정원 배치를 할 수 있도록 하였다. 이에 각 공정의 특성을 파악하고, 이를 Herrmann의 두뇌우성을 적용하여 공정원 배치를 하도록 하였다.
