Objectives : Cancer diagnosis causes significant distress while it may also bring positive change: post-traumatic growth. This study was conducted to analyze factors that affect post-traumatic growth. Methods : Medical records of 52 cancer patients who received psychiatric treatment at a university hospital in Seoul were reviewed and the correlation between post-traumatic growth and following factors were analyzed: Resilience, Anxious thoughts and tendencies, Mindful attention awareness, Acceptance attitude Results : Using Multiple Generalized Linear model, a positive correlation was found between post-traumatic growth and resilience (B=1.45, p<0.0001), mindful attention awareness (B=0.58, p=0.0030) and acceptance attitude (B=1.29, p=0.0003), while anxious thoughts and tendencies (B=-0.84, p<0.0001) had negative association. Conclusions : Factors that have a positive impact on post-traumatic growth were resilience, mindful attention awareness, acceptance attitude and a factor with a negative impact was anxious thoughts and tendencies; Factors that impact post-traumatic growth need to be taken into account, when approaching the treatment of cancer patients.

There is a growing interest in the technology transfer and commercialization both at home and abroad. Accordingly, this study looked at the concept of technology transfer and commercialization, identified the factors that should be taken into account in order to facilitate technology transfer and commercialization, and then performed a empirical analysis. As for the conventional technology transfer and commercialization, there was a tendency to limit its scope to the exploration, transfer and commercialization of technology itself. Here in this research, technology transfer and commercialization is defined the category to expand as various activities implemented in order to make sure that intellectual properties such as intangible technological developments, know-how, and knowledge are transferred between the relevant parties through a contract or negotiation, and the party to which the transfer is made can then further develop and exploit the technology into tangible products and other activities to obtain economic benefit out of that. In addition, the findings of the positive analysis of technology transfer and commercialization revealed that the focus of facilitating technology transfer has been on the technology itself, its management and securing efficiency of the systems and institutions involved in the technology transfer and commercialization. So there was lack of recognition as to the importance of financial support given to the phase of technology commercialization. This indicates that when it comes to the technology transfer and commercialization, quantitative performance has been the focus of interest such as patent application, registration, number of technology transfers, royalty, etc. So there was not enough understanding as to the issues of starting up a business, creating quality jobs through technology transfer and commercialization, which are directly related to the realization of the creative economy. In this regard, this research is expected to be used for the development for the future policies to boost technology transfer and commercialization as it suggests not only simply ensuring quantitative performance but also necessary to create the environment for the creation of the stable ecosystem for the parties involved in the technology transfer and commercialization and then to build circumstances in which creative economy can be realized.

This paper is to investigate the efficacy of cyber education by self-assessment strategy. Self-assessment strategy contains self-monitoring function and self-control function. 202 students of online university attended and analyzed with frequency, correlation, t-test, Paired t-test. The major findings were as follows. The learners who experienced self-assessment in the initial stage of class had higher changes in social distance to the mentally disabled people positively than the learners who didn't experienced that. This self-assessment strategy can be assumed that it is effective strategy to improve e-learning efficacy and it will contribute to self-directed education for enhancement of on-line education.

Recently, the social concerns on well dying come to the fore as important discourse on dignity of human death, which detonation by the problem of euthanasia. Well dying means 'good death' the meaning of a word, and it means 'prepared death', 'decented death' 'beautiful death' by extention of sematic context like this as a general rule. In this paper the writter have considered that how the view of Buddhism's death contribute to the discourse on well dying, which regarding death as the starting point, death conquest as the finishing point of the theory. The Buddhism's discourse on the attitude interpretation conquest process of death contributed to formation of abundant discourse on well dying, especially the view of Buddhism is able to contribute to conquest of death anxiety and death education, that death conquest interpret to spiritual psychological phenomenon not physical physiological eternal life (or immortality) and conquer death through enlightenment on reality of things by spiritual psychological change.

The purpose of this research, the importance of security and the means to carry out the spirit of Taekwondo is to identify. First, the target of more than 2 years of taekwondo training has continued to set as a guard, and experience to respond faithfully to the general staff to the administrator from 9 respondents were selected to accomplish this purpose. Through the course of a series of studies which have drawn the following conclusions. First, taekwondo training is created through the politeness, lot of nerve, patience, self-mastery, indefatigable the spirit of taekwondo in the security mission is a positive impact. Typically, the bodyguards make a statement through the body and mind will acquire the spirit of taekwondo. The spirit of taekwondo becomes an important material on the process of security mission as the stress and the occurrence of the situation, such as conflicts within the organization to overcome the negative situation. Second, it requires the right attitude in life, mental health, flexible social attitudes based on the taekwondo spirit. Therefore, the security guards needed in the organization the opportunity to learn the position could get the hierarchy between protection and bodyguard, or supervisor bodyguards and low class bodyguard.

This study attempts to suggest a theoretical basic frame that is needed for nursing intervention regarding the sexual experiences of the mentally disabled. The data were collected through a series of interviews with 14 participants. With permission of the mentally disabled, the interviews were recorded and transcribed. The data were analyzed using the framework of grounded theory mapped out by Strauss & Corbin(1998). The following 3 theories were confirmed on the basis of repetitive relations: becoming nest type, exercising self-restraint type, getting tangled type. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a realistic sex education that is relevant to hospital, community mental health center, and culture. The nurse is required to activily participate in educating the mentally disabled with a diverse approach to instill and nurture the sober perspective about sex such as the pleasure, life, intimacy based on sexual equality.

Preparing juvenile for future careers in global market becomes one of the most important tasks in education today. This study attests the impact of role model and entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention of Korean secondary school students. Total 217 students participated in this research from 11 different high schools across the country. The result suggests that the role model and entrepreneurship education have significant relationships with entrepreneurship as well as entrepreneurial intention of secondary school students. Entrepreneurship was also positively related with entrepreneurial intention of students. The findings imply that both the role model and entrepreneurship education are crucial elements to foster entrepreneurship as well as entrepreneurial intention of the secondary school students. Practical implications were presented to relevant authorities for takeaway in designing effective pedagogy.

The purpose of this study is to develope a case management education program for employees in the long-term mental health care facilities to reflect strength perspective and analyze the program's effectiveness. The participants in this study were 30 employees working in the long-term mental health care facilities in Seoul and Gyeong-gi regions(15 each), and the program's effectiveness was verified with those participants. The total 13 sessions of the education program was offered: three hours per session, and one session a month. The perception on clients(social distance, attitude towards mentally disorder people) and workers' competence(burnout, empowerment) were used as the measuring tool to verify the effectiveness of case management education. For data analysis, technical statistics and t-test were used in this study. As a result of the analysis, the social distance between the employees in the long-term mental health care facilities who participated in the case management education and clients decreased in relation with perception on clients, and attitude score towards clients improved. It was also verified that burnout decreased, and that empowerment improved in relation with the competence of the employees in the long-term mental health care facilities.

All human being can not exist by oneself That is, all human being depend on intimate attachment for their survival. Physical and psychological powers are prerequisites fir one's survival and these serve important functions hi interpersonal relationships. There are two kinds of powers. One is positive power which helps one survive effectively. Another one is negative power which disturbs one's effective survival. In this paper, the author reviewed the precept of 'trust' which is described in 'Bible' and oriental classical books such as 'The Analects of Confuicus' and 'Tao Te Ching' etc. and tried to integrate this precept with the importance in everyday life, 'How to communicate' is closely related to 'trust' and one's speech is closely related to one's thinking or emotion. Thus in order to keep trustful communication, one has to introspect oneself to understand one's own emotional reaction.

This study analyzed the process of mourning for aging in the film 'Miss Granny' in a convergent method. In exploring the contents of the movie repeatedly and interpreting the feeling of loss of old age in aging process as mourning process, I explored them in a psychoanalytic way. In other words, in a psychoanalytic method, I analyzed the aging process as a process of reinterpreting life and the change in developmental attitude toward the future life as a psychological world of mourning. The results of the study show that the process of mourning follows 'loss and deficiency', 'escape and regression', 'disidentification and decentralization', and 'adaptation to the new reality'. Based on these results, this research suggests that the counselor should not only focus on creating a psychological mood environment so that the client's mourning work will be smooth, but also should be able to use a complex counseling technique to improve the mental ability of the client.
