The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediating effect of mental health on the relationship between health promotion lifestyle and subjective well-being of college students. The study subjects were 282 college students. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results, first, the health promoting lifestyle has a significant positive effect on subjective well-being. Second, the health promotion lifestyle had significant negative impact on mental health. Third, the variables of depression, psychopathic deviate, paranoia, psychasthenia, schizophrenia were significant mediating parameters in the relationship between health promotion lifestyle and subjective well-being. Based on these results, we discussed the importance of health promoting behaviors for mental health and happiness of college students.

The purpose of this study was to investigate relations among the Health Promotion Behavior, Physically, Psychological, and Social factors of the stroke patients. The subjects include the patients that were Stroke was diagnosed and being admitted to hospital. The data of total 223 stroke patients were used in analysis. Collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and Structural Equation Analysis. As a result, The higher medical support health promotion behavior scores were higher. Health Promotion Behavior had correlations with the subjective health state(r=.56, p=.000), family support (r=.68, p=.000), medical support(r=.65, p=.000), Fatigue(r=.27, p=.004), and behavioral intentions(r=.75, p=.000). Factors Affecting Health Promotion Behaviors of the Stroke patients Physically factors of(${\beta}$=-.156, p=.014), Psychological factors of subjective health(${\beta}$ =.283, p=.001), behavioral intentions((${\beta}$=.362, p=.000), Social factors such as family support(${\beta}$=.219, p=.010), the medical support(${\beta}$=.246, p=.004) was found to be significant influence factors. In conclusion, health promotion behavior in stroke patients is subjective health, behavioral intentions, a family support. The higher medical support health promoting behavior appears score was found to be highly Psychological factors and social factors are important factors in promoting healthy behavior. Therefore, psychosocial personalized approach to maintaining the stroke health promotion, health promotion action program itdaneunde be used as basis for relapse prevention is significant.

세계 경제가 고도성장에 따른 산업구조의 변화를 갖게 되었고, 의학기술의 발달로 건강한 고령자의 증가가 나타나는 사회 현상이 나타나게 되었다. 우리나라 역시 65세 이상의 건강한 고령인구의 증가 추세와 고령화 사회로의 진입이 현실화 되고 있다. 또 급속한 핵가족화 등으로 인하여 가족 내의 노인부양 기능이 약화되고 있으며, 건강한 노인 단독세대가 급증함에 따라 해당 관련 복지의 구체적인 정책 실천방향에 대한 요구와 신체적, 사회 심리적 특성에 따른 힐링 환경의 개발요구가 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인류 건강증진 개념 및 고찰을 통해 힐링 환경의 공간특성을 도출하고, 이를 통하여 보다 질적으로 향상된 건강한 주거환경을 제시하고자 하는데 그 의미가 있다. 본 논문에 있어서의 공간에 의한 인류 건강증진은 1. 건강과 질병은 하나의 스펙트럼 상에 놓여 있으며, 한편은 최상의 건강 상태이며 다른 한편은 질병에 의한 사망이라는 개념에 의미를 둔다. 2. 병, 의학 전문가 관점에서 건강을 증진시키는 과정에 중심을 두고 있는 새로운 치료적 환경에 대한 혁신적인 패러다임을 주지하는 입장에서, 안녕(healing)을 양성하는 공간 특성을 도출 개념이다. 3. 환경변화에 적응하는 역동적 건강개념에 그 근거를 두고, "건강은 단순히 무 질병의 개념이 아니라 신체적, 정신적, 문화적 에다가 영적으로 완전한 안녕 상태"라는 개념을 적용한다. 4. 특히, 병, 의학 전문가 관점으로 인해 간과되었던 대상자의 공간으로부터 얻게 되는 심리적, 사회적, 정신적 요구들을 반영하는 안녕(healing) 개념의 힐링 철학의 개념을 갖는다.

"건강이란 질병이나 허약함이 없는 상태를 말함이 아니라, 신체적 정신적 사회적인 복지(Wellbeing)를 뜻하는 것"이라고 WHO(1948)는 정의하였다. 건강은 환경과 생활풍습(Life Style), 유전 그리고 의학적 치료 등에 의하여 결정되며 최근 WHO는 건강제도가 국민건강에 지배적인 역할을 한다고 주장한다. 이런 관점에서 건강제도가 국민 건강에 미친 총괄적인 성취도를 비교해 보면 한국이 전 세계에서 35위, 일본이 1위, 미국은 15위를 차지하고 있다는 통계가 나왔다. 개인의 건강은 지역사회의 건강과 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있으며, 각 지역사회의 건강상태는 국가의 건강상태를 결정짓는다. 그러므로 건강증진 교육과 사업, 연구는 건강상태에 영향력을 미치는 생활풍습과 행동의 변화와 환경조성에 초점을 두고 활성화되어야 한다. 아울러 국민 건강증진 사업을 성공시키기 위해서는 건강정책을 수립하는데 모든 국민의 적극적인 참여가 절대적으로 필요하다.대적으로 필요하다.

This study aims to analyse major changes of Mental Health Promotion and Welfare Service Support Act(MHPWSSA) and critically discuss these changes based on the major discourses on Mental Health Act revision. For this purposes this study reviewed literatures and government reports to understand human rights discourses, welfare discourses, and prevention discourses. Secondly, the major changes of MHPWSSA were analysed and discussed based on those discourses. This study found that MHPWSSA defined the concept of people with mental disorders narrowly, tightened the involuntary admission procedures, introduced welfare service support provisions and mental health promotion provisions. But this study shows that the new legislation may well be criticised due to neglect of the concept of disability and people with psychiatric disability, involuntary admission without mental capacity assessment, neglect of the basic values and principles of self determination and independent living common in welfare of the persons with disability. And the new legislation may be criticised due to overuse of the concept of mental health promotion as encompassing promotion, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.

This exploratory research examines a new approach to the healing environment in the changed health paradigm, and seeks to conceptualize the extended characteristics of the healing environment in the context of mental health promotion. This study aims to, first, define the concepts of health, mental health, and the healing environment in the changed paradigm, and second, develop the healing characteristics of the physical environment for mental health promotion and create indicators. For these purposes, this study performed a theoretical exploration that could support the concept of the healing environment for mental health promotion by expanding its scope into not only architecture, psychology, and psychiatry but also philosophy of architecture and environment psychology, which concerns the relationship between humans and the environment. This study considers related theories and attempts to establish a new concept from a convergent perspective. The characteristics of the healing environment categorized as a result of exploratory research on previous studies and theories include (a) physical protection promotion, (b) psychological comfort promotion, (c) social exchange promotion, and (d) personal self-esteem promotion. Establishing the concept of the healing environment for mental health promotion is important to implement the actual healing environment. Based on the concept, more specific design indicators and guidelines could be developed to conduct applied research.

This study aims to examine whether the relationship between client violence and turnover intentions is mediated by job stress among community mental health social workers. Data of a sample of 1,429 drawn from a study of nation-wide mental health promotion centers in 2013 was analyzed in order to verify both the direct and mediating effects between client violence, turnover intentions, and job stress. The study found that 67.2%(n=961) of the sample experienced client violences in the workplace. Furthermore, the experience of client violences had a direct effect on turnover intentions and job stress had a partially mediating effect on the relationship between client violence and turnover intentions. Based on the results, implications were discussed to reduce the extent of job stress of mental health social workers and to provide a safer work environment.

Understanding the biopsychosocial model of illness is crucial for any meaningful advance of health. The maintenance and promotion of health is achieved by different combinations of physical, mental, social and spiritual well-being. Health is not an objective of living. It is not only a state, but also a resource for everyday life. Health is a positive concept that emphasizes personal and social resources, as well as physical capacities. Understanding the biopsychosocial model of health and disease is very important in the medical system. George Engel challenged the medical profession to reconsider a strict biomedical approach to medical education and care, and to embrace a "new medical model," the biopsychosocial model. He argued that humans are at once biological, psychological, and social beings who behave in certain ways that can promote or harm their health. Although understanding the biopsychosocial model of illness is important, Korea's medical system have mainly been focusing on the biomedical model of illness. I would like to highlight the importance of biopsychosocial model of illness for Korea's medical system and real clinical field according to the 20th anniversary of Korean Society of Psychosomatic Medicine.
