The Influence of Rejection Sensitivity on Aggression: The Role of Self-Esteem Level and Instability (거절민감성과 공격성의 관계에서 자존감 수준, 자존감 불안정성의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of the present study was to investigate the influence of rejection sensitivity on aggression and to determine the mediating role of self-esteem level and its stability. Data based on self-report questionnaires from a sample of 312(N=312) undergraduate and graduate students were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0, and the Amos 18.0. Results from the structural equation modeling indicated that rejection sensitivity had a negative impact on self-esteem level and a positive impact on self-esteem instability. Self-esteem level had a negative impact on aggression. Self-esteem instability had a positive impact on aggression. The effect of rejection sensitivity on aggression was fully mediated by self-esteem level and instability. Current findings add to the extent literature on the influence of rejection sensitivity on self-esteem level, self-esteem instability, and aggression. Implications of the present study, limitations of current study as well as suggestions for future study were also included in the discussion.

Biceps Rerouting Technique(Modification of Clancy) for Posterolateral Rotatory Instability (대퇴이두건 전환술(Clancy 변형 술식)을 이용한 후외측 회전 불안정성의 재건)

  • Introduction : This study compared the clinical results with biceps rerouting fer the isolated posterolateral instability (PLI) and for the PLI combined with PCL injuries. Methods : 21 cases of isolated PLI (group I) and 25 cases of PLI combined with PCL rupture were included in the study. The PLI was reconstructed by modified biceps femoris rerouting technique with PCL reconstructions performed prior to the PLI correction in cases of combined injury The clinical results were reviewed and analyzed. Results : Pre-operatively positive reverse pivot shift test turned negative in 43 cases post-operatively. Increased preoperative external rotation thigh foot angle (ERTFA) showed significant differences between the two groups and all fell within normal limits post-operatively At a mean follow-up of 40.3 months, the average Lysholm knee score and. The Hospital for Special Surgery Knee Ligament Score for group I and group II revealed above 90 points without statistically significant difference between the groups. 3 cases of tenodesis failure developed and re-operation was performed. Discussion and Conclusion : The advantages of modified Clancy technique include reduced surgical damages to the iliotibial band and fixation of the biceps tendon at the isometric position. The modified biceps rerouting technique is recommended for the reconstruction of both isolated and combined PLI except in patients with severe damages at the attachment of biceps tendon.

Arthroscopic Technique of Bone Defect in Anterior Shoulder Instability (골 결손이 동반된 전방 견관절 불안정성에서 관절경적인 수술 술기)

  • Purpose: The bone defects that are associated with shoulder anterior instability may be the causes of failure of arthroscopic surgery. For the treatment of traumatic shoulder instability, we tried to determine the arthroscopic techniques that can be used for the bone defect of the glenoid and the humeral head. The purpose of this study is to assess the surgical techniques for the arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder with anterior instability and bone defects. Materials and Methods: We analyzed the articles that have been recently published on anterior shoulder instability and we assessed the arthroscopic surgical techniques. We compared the articles and the methods of arthroscopic surgical techniques for treating bone defects of the anteroinferior glenoid and the posterolateral humeral head, which were considered as the causes of recurrence of shoulder instability. Results: There are the anteroinferior bone defects of the glenoid and Hill-Sachs lesions in the bone defects that appear in patients with anterior shoulder instability. These bone defects are currently the causes of failure of arthroscopic surgery. Conclusion: Open shoulder surgery may be the treatment of the choice for a shoulder with instability and significant bone defects of the glenoid and the humeral head. But efforts are being made to overcome the weaknesses of open surgery by the use of arthroscopy.

  • 우리 춤은 우리 고유의 정서를 담고 있는 종합예술이므로 우리 춤을 분석하고 이해하는 것은 큰 의미가 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 춤 동작의 정량적인 분석을 통한 감정인식 기술을 이용하여 우리 춤에 내포된 감정 패턴의 변화를 살펴본다. 먼저 한국 전통춤으로부터 무용전문가들의 정성적 분석에 기반하여 추출된 우리 춤사위를 정해진 각 감정별로 재구성하여 창작하고 창작된 우리 춤을 무용전문가가 시연한다. 이를 카메라를 이용하여 획득하고, 영상처리를 통해서 시연자의 실루엣을 뽑아낸 후, 정량적 특징량들을 추출한다. 이어 신경회로망을 이용하여 각 감정별 춤사위를 학습 시킨 후, 임의의 춤사위에 내포된 감정을 인식 한다. 본 논문에서는 정면, 좌, 우 세 시점에서 획득된 다시점 영상을 이용하여 학습시킴으로써 보다 안정적으로 동작하는 인식 시스템을 제안한다. 그리고, 시스템에 의해 인식된 감정 패턴과 변화의 정성적 의미를 이해하기 위해 무용전문가들에 의해 정립된 정성적 분석 결과와 비교, 분석한다. 이는 정성적인 분석에만 국한되던 우리 춤의 특성에 대한 이해를 객관적이고 정량화된 분석을 통한 이해의 차원으로 확장시키는 것으로, 우리 춤의 특성을 새롭게 정의하는 계기를 마련할 수 있다. 다양한 장르의 한국 전통춤 가운데 우리 춤을 대표할 수 있는 춤사위를 선정하고, 정성적/정량적으로 분석함으로써 우리 춤의 특성을 이해하기 위한 체계적인 틀을 제공하고자 한다.

  • Turbopumps for liquid rocket engines are exposed to various cavitation instabilities under their operating conditions. The instabilities affect the stability of the turbopumps. To make sure of the stability of the turbopump of KSLV-II, the present work examined the characteristics of the cavitation instabilities during the turbopump assembly test. In the test, the LOx pump was operated under super-synchronous rotating cavitation and attached to uneven cavitation. In the vibration analysis of the fuel pump, the characteristic frequency by the super-synchronous cavitation of the LOx pump was clearly shown.

  • This technical paper describes and summarizes the flight test results for the longitudinal and lateal-directional dynamic stability characteristics. The target aircraft is the 4-seat carnard type aircraft, FireFly, which has been developed by KARI. Airborne sensors and real-time telemetry system are constructed to obtain the flight test data. The dynamic stability characteristics should be analyzed and tested by estimaitng the aerodynamic parameters in the dymaic equations of motion. The maximum likelihood estimation technique has been applied to the flight data from chirp, 3211, and doublet control inputs.

  • Cryopump removes gas molecules by condensation and adsorption. Therefore, cryo-surface temperature and corresponding vapor pressure influence directly the pumping performance. If the surface temperature of any part is neither low nor high, there occurs the desorption of gas molecules condensed or adsorbed, and the emitted molecules can be captured again, which leads to a time-consuming and fluctuating change of the pressure. Though every gas can show such a pressure instability at a specified temperature range, the instability generated in a sputter system using Ar as a working gas and operating with a cryopump is especially undesirable. In this paper the cause of the argon instability is analyzed and corrective is provided through the measurement of the Ar recovery time.

  • To enhance the practical usage of solely quantitative evaluation method for each students on the current public education fields which might cause some social problems, an intelligent and adaptive fuzzy logical inference methodology for the additional qualitative evaluation technique is proposed to utilize each students personal characteristic properties to be evaluated. Proposed method uses some verbal descriptions for the linguistic qualifier in addition to the grade points. An imaginary virtual experimentation only has been implemented due to some difficulties with the critical national educational policy problems in the case of some possibly real and practical experimental environments to be utilized for the simulation.

Everyday Physical Reasoning by Qualitative Reasoning (정성적 추론을 이용한 일상의 자연 현상에 대한 추론)

  • To develop a cognitive system with the flexibility and breadth of human reasoning, it's very important to construct a large scale knowledge base which includes commonsense knowledge as well as expert knowledge. This paper introduces a cognitive system which provides a commonsense reasoning for everyday physical phenomena using qualitative reasoning. It is difficult to apply previous qualitative reasoning to commonsense reasoning since it provides reasoning based on abstract concepts which are apart from everyday real world concepts. Our research provides commonsense reasoning based on sketches and real world concepts by integrating qualitative reasoning and general large scale Cyc knowledge base. Our system has been implemented and tested on various examples.
