A Comparative Analysis on the Relationship between Health Eating Habits and Health Functional Food Attitudes and Mood Conditions between University Students and the Elderly (대학생과 노인의 건강 식습관 및 건강기능식품에 대한 태도와 기분 상태의 관계에 대한 비교 분석)

  • It is necessary to pay attention to healthy eating habits and attitudes toward health functional foods at a time when the incidence of diseases increases exponentially due to side effects of westernized eating habits. The purpose of this study is to clarify the effect of healthy eating habits and attitudes toward health functional foods on mood states of college students and the elderly. As a result of the analysis, in the elderly, the explanatory power for vitality emotion was lower than that of college students, and only healthy eating habits were factors that significantly explained. For anxiety-depression, it was found that health eating habits could explain the decrease in anxiety-depression emotions even less only in the elderly, and for anger emotions, neither college students nor the elderly showed significant explanatory power. This suggests that it is necessary to further research and analyze the experimental and practical effects based on a wider group and various emotions on how health functional foods and healthy eating habits affect emotions.

  • 본 연구는 2009년 3월부터 2010년 2월까지 S시 M동에 위치한 A청각장애특수학교 학생 39명(실험군 25명, 대조군 14명)을 대상으로 뉴로피드백 훈련이 청각장애학생들의 정서적 성향에 미치는 영향을 보고자 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 주의지수(좌 우), 항스트레스(좌 우)가 통계적으로 유의 하였다. 둘째, 청각장애학생들의 기분상태 설문지가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합해볼 때 청각장애학생 들의 정서적 성향에 뉴로피드백 훈련이 긍정적인 효과를 미치는 것으로 검증되었다.

정서관련 어휘 분석을 통한 내적 상태의 차원 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 한국어의 정서관련 어휘분석을 통하여 내적체계의 차원을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 연구1에서는 내적경험을표현하는 데 자주 쓰이는 어휘들을 자유연상을 통해 100개를 선정하고 유사성과 빈도평가작업을 통해 대표성을 갖는다고 판단되는 어휘22개를 선정하였다. 22개의 쌍별유사성을 7점척도로 평정한 자료를 다차원분석한 결과, 1차원(63%)은 쾌/불쾌, 2차원(25%)은 각성수준으로 해석될 수 있었고, 이는 기존의 차원모형의 주장과 거의 유사한 결과였다. 다른 어휘목록을 사용하였을 때의 결과와 비교하기 위해, 연구 2에서는 표정을 보고 정서를 추론하는 실험을 통해 자주 언급된 단어를 빈도순으로 22개 선정하였다. 이를 이용하여 같은 방법으로 다차원분석한 결과 연구 3에서는 연구 1,2의 어휘목록이 전체 내적체계의 차원 공간에서 차지하는 상대적인 위치를 비교하기 위해, 두 어휘목록을 포함한 83개 내적체계의 단어를 차원평정시켜 분석하였고, 연구결과가 차원모형에서 갖는 시사점이 논의 되었다.

  • 최근 의학 및 게임 분야에서 뉴로 피드백에 관한 연구들이 활발하다. 뉴로 피드백이란 뇌의 전기적 활동을 뜻하는EEG(Electroencephalogram)을 대상으로 하는 바이오피드백(biofeedback) 시스템의 일종이다. 좌 우뇌의 불균형은 불안과 우울 등의 정서적 장애를 초래한다. 본 논문에서는 좌, 우뇌 활성도를 대칭적으로 향상시켜 뇌기능의 최적화를 위한 시스템을 제안하며 뇌파를 분석하여 정서 상태 파악 후 규칙적 훈련을 통한 우울, 불안 등의 정서적 문제를 개선하는 뉴로 피드백 시스템 개발에 대한 결과를 보고한다. 실험을 통한 시스템의 검증으로 3주간 진행한 훈련 결과를 비교하였으며 그 증가율을 살펴보았다. 1주차와 3주차의 데이터를 비교해본 결과 평균적으로 26.18%의 증가율을 보였고 좌, 우뇌의 활성도의 대칭이 향상된 것을 알 수 있었다.

A Study on the Relationship between Mathematics Anxiety and Mathematics Teaching Anxiety in Elementary School Teachers (초등학교 교사의 수학불안과 수학교수불안의 상관관계 분석 연구)

  • In this study, I investigate the relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematics teacher anxiety of elementary school teachers with integrated method. As a result of statistical analysis of the survey of 256 elementary school teachers, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the two factors (r = .630, p <.05). The analysis show that teaching experience and degree may affect mathematics anxiety and teaching experience, degree, and teacher qualification may affect mathematics teaching anxiety. Subsequently I conduct a qualitative study focusing on interviews with 20 elementary school teachers. As a result of the analysis, I confirm that even if the mathematics anxiety is low, mathematics teaching anxiety may occur due to the teaching environment. As a result of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of this study, Korean elementary school teachers' mathematics anxiety and mathematics teaching anxiety might be regarded as separate factors. From the result of the study, I suggest that mathematics anxiety and mathematics teaching anxiety of elementary school teachers, each emotional state might be considered as independent emotional status. The implication of the study indicate that independent methods might be developed in order to prevent and treat mathematics anxiety and mathematics teaching anxiety in elementary school teachers.

Effect of the Daily Living Factor on the Satisfaction of Life for the Aged (일상생활요인이 노인의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • In this study, I tried to find out the effect of the daily living factors(social support, economical status, health condition, leisure activity, communication, consumption activity) on the element life satisfaction(self-respect, personal relations, emotional condition, physical health, consume activity) of life for the aged. For the study, I collected 280 samples from people of 60 year-old adults who reside of in Gyeonggi-do. I used factor analysis, reliability analysis, multi-regression, t-test, ANOVA with SPSS 18.0. The results are as follows. First, satisfaction about aged population sociological character level of significance were difference in factors except gender, statistically. Second, daily living factors and element satisfaction between analysis positive relation. Third, Aged of daily living factors effect to element satisfaction, social support and leisure activity effect to self-respect, are social support, health condition, leisure activity effect to personal relations and physical health satisfaction. and communication effect to Emotional condition and economical status, communication and consume activity effect to economical living satisfaction.

The Mediating Effects of Social Support on Health Status and Ddepression of the Elderly (노인의 건강상태가 우울에 미치는 영향에 대한 사회적 지지의 매개효과)

  • This study examines the mediating effects of social support on the relationship between health status and depression of the elderly in Korea. Through stratified multi-state random sampling, 1409 individuals aged 65 and over who lived in Seoul and Chunchen, and who had their own children were selected. Social support was composed of three types: emotional support, instrumental and financial support, and included both support-received from and provided to children. The multiple regression model proposed by Kenny and Baron was used. As the results, first, the elderly get more depressed when having lower health status and lower social support. Second, there is a partial mediating effect of social support in association with health status and depression. Comparing by gender, instrumental support received from children, and emotional and instrumental support provided to children are mediators in the link between health status and depression in the case of male. In the case of female, emotional, instrumental and financial support received from children, and instrumental and financial support provided to children shows the mediating effects between health status and depression. The results suggest that social support both received from and provided to children reduces the negative impacts of health status on depression of the elderly in Korea.

The effects of affective feedbacks according to the learner's emotions in e-Iearning (이러닝 학습자의 감정 상태에 따른 감성 피드백의 효과)

  • Many researches have tried to introduce affective computing for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). In the affective aspect, emotional memories significantly affect on people's cognitive processing activities. In this paper, to observe the effect of affective feedback for emotional state of learners in an e-learning environment, selected emotional feedback messages and delivery method are integrated into an e-learning system. Self reporting button for recognizing learner's emotional state are used for detecting learner's emotional states and the test results show that providing affective feedback to learner has positive effects in e-learning environment in terms of learner's academic achievements.

Acquisition of natural Emotional Voice Through Autobiographical Recall Method (자전적 회상을 통한 자연스런 정서음성정보 수집방법에 관한 연구)

  • In order to obtain natural emotional voice in laboratory, an autobiographical recall method was used and happy, angry, sad and afraid feelings were induced in 16 college students. Three independent judges rated the subject's facial expressions and vocal characteristics. The mood induction results were compared with those from the actor-initiated method. Data analysis showed that recall-induced voices successfully conveyed subtle emotional cues, while actor-induced voices signaled more extreme emotioms. Implications of the autobiographical recall method in emotional voice research and potential problems are discussed.
