A Study on the Information and Communication Engineer Ethics from the Survey of College Students (정보통신공학 전공 대학생들의 정보통신산업 종사자 윤리의식 연구)

  • With the program outcomes of 'the Accreditation of Engineering Education' in Korea, the acquisition and assessment of ethical attitudes as an engineer is emphasized these days. In this study, we surveyed and investigated the attitudes and ethical minds of college students majoring in information and communication engineering regarding their professional attitude and ethical behavior at present and in the future by assuming their hire in this industry. The average score of engineer ethics was 2.25 out of 5. Multi-variate regression found that the unethical attitudes of information and communication engineer were more distinct for students of older age, students with 'rude and insulting' attitudes, students who had not served in army, students who are not idealistic, and students who do not live with parents. The results provide educators with useful understandings related to the engineering ethics education program for college students.

  • 정보통신기술과 컴퓨터의 보급은 다양한 정보통신 서비스 이용의 보편화와 청소년 들의 미디어 이용 형태에 큰 변화를 가져왔지만, 지적 재산권의 침해, 사생활 침해, 불건전 정보 유통, 컴퓨터시스템 파괴 등 정보통신윤리측면에서 문제를 야기 시키고 있다. 위와 같 은 문제점을 해결해 나가기 위하여 대구·경북지역의 청소년들을 대상으로 정보통신윤리의식 에 관한 실증조사를 실시한 결과, 정보통신윤리의식은 여성이 남성보다 높고, 학력별로는 고등학생이 대학생보다 높고, 거주지역 벼로는 중소도시의 청소년들이 대도시보다 상대적으 로 높은 윤리의식을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 컴퓨터 이용시간이 많을수록, 그리 고 컴퓨터 사용경력이 많을수록 불건전 정보유통에 대한 윤리의식은 낮은 결과를 보이고 있 다. 컴퓨터범죄와 일반범죄와의 인식차이는 여성이 남성보다 인식정도가 높게 나타났으며, 불건전정보 유통 경험에 대한 윤리의식은 고등학생이 대학생보다 높은 것을 알 수 있다.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 효과적인 정보통신윤리 교육을 통한 정보통신윤리 의식 함양에 있다. 블랜디드 PBL의 교수-학습 목표 달성을 위해서 온라인 학습과 면대면 수업이 체계적으로 혼합되었고, 온라인 학습을 위한 주요 모듈은 오픈소스 학습관리시스템인 무들(Moodle)에서 운영되었다. 온라인을 통한 PBL 단계(문제제시, 문제확인, 자료수집, 해결안 도출, 문제해결안 발표, 정리 및 평가)에 따른 블랜디드 활동에서 학습자가 스스로 문제를 해결해 가면서 학습계획을 세우고, 지식 데이터베이스 등을 활용하여 정보의 획득과 평가, 새로운 아이디어를 적용할 수 있는 e-PBL 시스템을 구현하였다. 블랜디드 PBL 시스템의 교육적인 효과를 검증하기 위해서 대학교 2학년 재학생 60명을 실험집단(30명), 통제집단(30명)으로 구성하였다. 실험 집단과 통제집단은 모두 6명을 1개 조로 하여 각각 5개 조를 구성하였다. 실험집단에는 블랜디드 PBL을 이용하여 수업을 실시한 후에 정보통신윤리 의식 평가를 실시하고, 통제집단은 면대면 PBL을 이용하여 수업을 실시하였다. 두 집단의 정보통신윤리 의식에 유의미한 차이가 있는지를 검증하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0을 활용한 t-Test를 실시하였다. 실험결과, 블랜디드 PBL을 적용하여 정보통신윤리를 학습한 실험 집단이 면대면 PBL을 적용하여 정보통신윤리를 학습한 통제집단보다 정보통신윤리 의식의 절제, 존중, 책임, 참여 지표에서 높은 향상을 보였다.

The Delphi Analysis to measure the Information Communication Ethics Consciousness Level of young people (청소년의 정보통신윤리 의식 수준 측정을 위한 델파이 분석)

  • The goal of the education of Information Communication Ethics(ICE) is to improve the consciousness of young people so that they themselves are able to judge between what's ethically right and wrong and, as a result, to take the right behavior. For this, we need to preferentially identify the primary factors in understanding and diagnosing the consciousness level of young people on the ICE. To solve this problem, in this study, we identified four major indices that consist of the ICE consciousness through the meta analysis of the both domestic and international researches from the past 5 years in the related area and then, they are validated by experts. We also analyzed the factors in assessing the ICE consciousness of young people by using the Delphi technique, which, during its analysis, even considers elements that are qualitative or cannot be objectified, through the help of an expert group that consists of experienced teachers and professors in the related area. As a result we deduced 4 major indices and 45 related factors.

  • The goal of this research is to develop and validate test items to measure Information and Communication Ethics(ICE) based on scenario. For this, we need to preferentially identify the primary factors in understanding and diagnosing the consciousness level of adolescents on the ICE. To solve this problem, in this research, we identified and validated major indices that consist of the ICE. Finally, For attaining the objective of the research, we developed test items based on scenario with including ICE dilemmas and applied to high school students. Thus, the results of this research indicate that test items can be used as valid and reliable scale to measure ICE level of students.

  • Necessity and importance of ethical education for information and communication have been increased, as the age of people who are using internet is lowering progressively. Even though various of text developments and the teacher training to ethical education for information and communication have been done, most teachers and parents of students have been not quite enough satisfied by the ethical education for information and communication in school, society and home. This paper also aims to develop and apply the system of ethical education to each student by presenting suitable ways according to the diagnose to not only students but also teachers and parents of students. After this system applies to students, students could have felt ethical awareness for information and communication and got the information to solve some problems themselves. Futhermore, teachers and parents of students could have felt students' level of awareness and obtained various teaching materials and ways, that is, it has become an opportunity for an efficient ethical education of information and communication.

  • The Information-Oriented Society that we live in today has given lots of conveniences whereas it has serve problems and even is becoming social problems. These problems can have much worse influence to the little children who are immature. This research developed the new teaching-learning programs that can improve the learner's information communication ethical with theme-based integrated learning by analyzing present information communication curriculums. In addition, we apply the teaching-learning programs to the elementary school and analyzed the effects. As the result of this study, It is appeared that theme-based integrated learning for information communication ethical education gives good effects on information communication ethics improvement.

  • 컴퓨터와 정보통신 기술의 급속한 발달은 우리의 가정과 학교생활뿐만 아니라 정치, 경제, 문화등 사회 전반에 많은 변화를 가져왔다. 그러나 이러한 고도로 발달된 정보통신 기술은 순기능 못지않게 많은 역기능을 가지고 있다. 이러한 정보화 사회를 맞이하여 점점 늘어나는 사이버 공간에서의 윤리적 문제를 해결하고 예방하기 위해 초등학교 학생 및, 학부모의 정보퉁신 윤리의식을 살펴보고, 현재 초등학교에서 이루어지고 있는 정보통신윤리 교육의 내용과 지도실태를 조사하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 초등학교 정보통신 윤리교육의 문제점을 분석하고 개선방안을 강구하여, 정보통신윤리의식의 함양을 위한 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
