This study aimed to measure consumer information competency, which indicates consumers' general ability to search and utilize information. The model of this study was constructed in order to identify how consumer information competency influences the efficiency and the effectiveness of external information search. The model was verified with related prior knowledge as a moderator variable in order to understand holistic consumer information search activity. The result of the study is as follows. First, the concept of consumer information competency was constructed with four sub-abilities: define, search, extract, and synthesis & use. The ability of define was the highest, as opposed to the ability of extract, which was the lowest. Second, consumer information competency was lower for women as well as for low family income. The sub-abilities of search and synthesis & use were lower for aging consumers. Third, consumer information competency has positive effects on information search efficiency and effectiveness. Moreover, the efficiency influences the effectiveness positively. Fourth, prior knowledge moderates the effect of consumer information competency to the efficiency. Only for consumers with high knowledge the efficiency has the effect of mediating between consumer information competency and the effectiveness.

Career indecision has long been a phenomenon of interest to parents, faculty, school counselors, and others who advise young adults on their career choices. The earliest work on career indecision focused almost exclusively on the negative consequences that young adults faced as a result of lack of self-insight into their own skills and abilities, lack of specific information about various occupations and labor markets, and fear of commitment to any career path in particular. More recently, researchers have noted that some of the short run negative consequences of early career indecision may ultimately lead to long-term positive consequences, particularly if better person-occupation fit is achieved as a result of young adults' extended search behavior. Extroversion, agreeableness, emotional stability, and openness showed to have negative effects on indecisiveness. In case of lack of job information, only extroversion and emotional stability showed to have negative effects on indecisiveness, and openness showed negative effect. Indecisiveness has negative effect on preparatory job search behavior. Lack of information has negative effect on preparatory job search behavior and active job search behavior.

The purpose of this study is to define determinants of tourists' behavior focused on tourism omni-channel and to verify the relationship between tourism information search motivation, tourism omni-channel satisfaction, tourism experience and perceived risk. We presented the hypotheses including ease of use, trust and satisfaction and also analyzed the moderator effects of tourism experience and perceived risk(financial risk, psychological risk) variables. For an accuracy of expected results, we focused on survey with 298 respondents. Based upon prior studies, it is meaningful that this study verified 1) the positive relationship between tourism information search motivation and tourism omni-channel satisfaction and 2) the significant moderating effect of financial risk on the relationship between tourism information search motivation and tourism omni-channel satisfaction.

수많은 정보시스템들이 기업 및 조직에 도입되고 있다. 이러한 정보시스템들의 도입 효과 분석에는 많은 어려움이 따르는데, 특히 기존의 시스템을 e-business화 하는 e-transformation화 되고 있는 진행중인 시스템에 대한 평가는 난해면이 많다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 경우의 정보시스템 효과평가를 위한 모델 수립을 위한 탐색적 연구 결과를 소개하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 기존문헌 고찰을 통해 정보시스템 성과평가를 위한 모델과 방법론의 한계 및 이슈를 도출하고, 이를 극복하기 위해 EEM(E-transformation Evaluation Model) 모델과 방법론 구축의 필요성을 도출한다. EEM모델에서는 정보시스템도입의 현재 효과평가뿐만 아니라 현재에는 IT 효과가 일어나지 않지만 향후 정보시스템을 통한 IT효과측정이 가능하므로 측정대상에 따라 다각적인 적용이 가능하여 기업의 정책수립에 큰 도움이 되리라 사료된다.

By the 1990s, Database Online Searching and CD-ROM Searching have been used universally in libraries. Due to their ease of use and facilitation, it is believed that such new media searching will produce more benefits than the usual printed materials. Furthermore, from the library management's point view, the new media searching's ability to minimize holding space will be another example of the advantage. The new media searching will have ever the printed materials. However, since it Is necessary to have an objective appraisal of the cost effectiveness in the implementation and the design of the new media system, it will be compared the new media searching with the conventional searching by using printed materials at the KIEP Library and Data Bank.

최근 정보 기술의 발달로 XML, 화학 복합물, 소셜 네트워크 등과 같은 구조적 정보를 갖는 빅 데이터들이 대량으로 축적되고 있다. 이러한 구조적 정보를 갖는 그래프 데이터에서 메디안을 찾기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 기존에는 그래프 메디안을 효율적으로 계산하기 위해 하한값을 이용한 그래프 메디안 탐색 기법이 제안되었다. 그러나 탐색을 시작하는 버텍스를 선정하는 데에 따라 가지치기 효과가 다르게 발생하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 버텍스의 그래프 구조 정보를 이용한 효율적인 메디안 탐색 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 탐색 기법은 버텍스의 차수와 에지 가중치를 이용하여 그래프 메디안 예측 값을 정의하고, 그래프 메디안과 유사한 버텍스들부터 우선적으로 탐색한다. 실험을 통하여 제안하는 기법이 기존의 방법보다 최대 10%까지 수행시간을 단축함을 보인다.

The purpose of this study is to find important personal characteristics that affect search process and outcome, and to formulate causal models about searching behavior, by examining the channels and the magnitude of the factors identified. The study was designed to conduct a quasi-experiment with 67 student subjects. A total of 29 elements concerned with aptitude, personality, formal education, effectiveness of online training, search process, and search outcome are measured and reduced to 9 variables. 12 hypotheses were tested statistically and path analysis was done to investigate causal relationship among variables. Finally 5 models were formulated.

In this study, the adolescents' perception of the Information Search Process(ISP); their anxiety and the need for intervention during the process were investigated based on Kuhlthau's ISP model, and the relationship among the factors was analyzed with structural equations. In addition, the effectiveness of scaffolding strategy to the experimental group during the class was verified. The main findings are as follows. First, as a result of exploring the anxiety felt by learners and the need for intervention in the information search process, it was found that the presentation stage had a significant effect on the anxiety, and the collection, presentation, and assessment stages had significant effects on the need for intervention. Second, as a result of controlling each variable to investigate the anxiety felt by learners and necessity of intervention in the information search process, it was confirmed that among the demographic variables, the difference between the first graders and the second ones was significant; and the difference in the metropolitan area was more significant than that in the Gangwon province. Third, as a result of paired t-test and covariance analysis on the control group and the experimental group, it was confirmed that the anxiety and need for intervention of the experimental group were statistically significantly reduced. The significance of this study lies in the point that it presents a practical basis for applying scaffolding strategies appropriate to information search process in the field of education.

대용량 웹 데이터베이스로부터 필요한 관련 정보를 탐색하고, 다양한 형태의 정보로부터 지식을 창출하는 일은 매우 어려운 일이다. 본 논문은 복잡하고 다양한 형태의 패턴이 존재하고, 연속된 입력을 갖는 웹 데이터베이스에서 발생되는 빈발 패턴들을 효과적으로 저장할 수 있는 FP-Tree를 기반으로 하여 변화된 정보들을 능동적으로 유지하고 새로운 정보들에 U해 FP-Tree를 재구성하여 웹 페이지에 대한 유용한 패턴 정보와 사용자의 웹 사용 패턴 분석을 용이하게 한다. 그 결과 새로이 발견된 웹 사용 패턴들을 통해 웹 페이지의 구조적 정보와 구조적 연판 정보를 효과적으로 얻을 수 있다.

In order to Mine Countermeasure (MCM), the search is carried out for the expected mine zone. At this time, mine hunting uses Autonomous Unmanned Vehicle(AUV), taking into account the danger of mine and the stability of our forces. Sonar system for identifying buried mines are equipped with Side Scan Sonar(SSS) or Synthetic Aperture Sonar(SAS). This paper describes the analysis of mine hunting effects according to the commercial SSS characteristics. Based on the characteristics of each SSS, the insonified area and recognition probability were modeled, and the analysis was performed according to the search pattern of the AUV. AUV's search pattern defines three patterns depending on the presence or absence of SSS or shaded areas. The analysis results derived search time and detection probability for each search pattern, and finally, the improvement of search depending on the presence or absence of side injection or shaded area.
