The information service of library is getting into a new paradigm as the smart phone usage increases. This study analyzes the contents reflected on the library mobile website to figure out the structural condition and features of the information. For this study, 26 academic libraries in U.S. are selected for an examination of their mobile websites, and the contents on the sites were analyzed. This study analyzed the most frequent type of contents provided in the mobile website. As a result, this study suggested the information structure and core contents of the mobile website in detail. The outcome of this study is expected to be a reference for building the mobile website of library.

The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the community information menus on the websites of Korean American Churches function well as community information sources to Korean American church members. Community information menus from 12 korean American church websites were compared in terms of information structure and labeling systems. Problems were shown and new informational structures and category labels to fully support the functions of Korean American church websites have been proposed. The proposed model was divided into three main aspects, the first sub menu category, the second sub menu category, and the third sub menu category.

웹사이트의 폭발적 증가는 여러 계층의 사용자들에게 기존 미디어의 정보 유통체계에 대한 급작스런 변화를 가져왔다. 단순한 지사의 홍보사이트뿐만 아니라 사이버커뮤니티와 전자상거래를 가능하게 하는 중요한 매체로 인식되고 있다. 그리고 동일한 컨텐츠를 제공하는 여러 가지 웹사이트들의 성공 여부는 웹페이지를 통한 많은 사용자의 확보와 지속적인 방문의 유도를 통해 결정된다. 성공적인 웹사이트의 구축에는 다양하고 변화하는 사용자 계층에 적합한 웹 인터페이스의 디자인과 평가에 달려 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 효율적인 사용자 중심의 웹 인터페이스를 디자인하고 평가하기 위한 방법론적 요소를 기술하고 제안한다.

The library is a social institution that should ensure all users' information access rights. In this study, the concept of universal design is analyzed as a theoretical basis that library Websites should be accessed equitably by all kinds of users, and an evaluation criteria is developed based on the principles of universal design. The Websites of 7 regional central libraries are evaluated with suggested criteria and the ratio of compliance of universal Web design is measured. In the result, the most of the Websites are showed not only high performances on the area of (1) Web accessibility and (2) usability, but low performances on the area of (1) equitable use and (2) flexibility in use.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the problems of regional culture and tourism websites and to seek for the ways to improve those websites since the culture and tourism information websites of local government do not provide enough contents and service. This research is based on following 4 indicators, content evaluation, usability evaluation, design evaluation and interactivity evaluation which are used to evaluate tourism homepages of municipality by Korea Tourism Organization. The result of this research came out with the issue that regional cultural tourism websites lack user-oriented contents. Therefore, regional culture and tourism websites need to provide the custom-made information such as setting a free tourist route, complementing reservation system and diversifying the range of search.

옷감의 종류에 따른 올바른 세탁 방법이 존재하는데, 이를 따르지 않고 세탁을 하게 되면 옷이 금방 손상된다. 이러한 잘못된 세탁 방법으로 세탁하여 옷이 손상되는 문제점을 해소하고자 세탁물 인식 및 세탁 방법제공 웹사이트를 제작하였다. 개발된 웹사이트는 사전에 학습된 모델을 바탕으로 사용자의 세탁물 이미지를 인식하여 예측 결과에 따른 세탁 방법을 제공하며 이를 통해 사용자는 성분이 불분명한 옷감에 대한 정보와 세탁 방법을 얻을 수 있다.

정보통신기술의 발달에 따라 인터넷에 대한 급증하면 학생들과 교사들의 교육용 사이트에 대한 정보를 제공할 필요가 있다. 교육용 웹사이트를 평가함에 있어 학생과 교사간에 인지발달 수준이나 그 입장에 따라 여러 가지 차이가 있다고 본다. 교사나 전문가 입장에서 우수하다고 판단되는 교육용 웹사이트가 실제로 학생들에게도 우수하다고 인식되는지 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교육용 웹사이트를 평가함에 있어 교사와 학생의 인식 차이를 살펴보고자 한다. 이는 학생이 교육용 사이트를 평가하는 관점을 이해하고 교육용 웹사이트 설계 및 평가 시 보다 학생들의 관점을 고려할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

해외지역 다국어기반 웹사이트는 사용자에게 해외지역 관련 기본정보 및 전문정보를 다국어기반으로 지원해야 하며, 해외지역 다국어 기반이라는 사이트의 특성에 맞는 메뉴, 콘텐츠 등을 제공해야 한다. 또한 다국어기반의 웹사이트 특성상 유니코드 기반의 다국어서비스 기능이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 해외지역 다국어기반 웹사이트 비교 평가와 표준모형에 관한 선행연구를 기반으로 해외지역 다국어기반 웹사이트를 설계 및 구현한다.

This study examines the status of websites operation among libraries affiliated to the Korean Medical Library Association, compares and analyzes website menu organization and information service contents of 29 medical libraries that currently run websites. The followings are results of this study. 1) the main menu of medical library websites is arranged with 'Search for Library Materials, Electronic Resources, Library Service, My Library, Library Guide, and the Bulletin Board.' 2) 15 services were selected as the main information service provided from the medical library website. 3) the information service that was provided from the most institutions was 'Document Copy/ Interlibrary Loan,' followed by 'Loan Reservation/Renewal, Request Library Purchase Book, Off-campus Access, User Education, Reference Resources, Q&A Board, Our Library Pubmed, and Dissertation Submission' in this order.

무선 단말기 보급의 증가로 PDA 또는 휴대폰 등을 통한 인터넷 접속이 증가하고 있다. 하지만 현재 대부분의 웹사이트는 페이지 크기나 용량이 데스크톱에 최적화되어 있기 때문에, 무선 단말기를 이용한 원활한 인터넷 서핑이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 개인화된 북마크를 통해 원하는 서비스에 바로 접근할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 기존 페이지 중심의 북마크를 개선하여 웹사이트 별로 일련의 페이지들을 북마크하여 무선 단말기를 통해 제공함으로써, 웹사이트의 구조를 한눈에 쉽게 파악하고 원하는 페이지에 더욱 빠르게 접근할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 또한 모바일 에이전트환경에서 사용자의 선호도 프로파일과 유사한 사용자들이 해놓은 사이트 단위의 북마크를 추출한 후, 사용자에게 제공해주는 기법을 제안한다.
