MIDAS-II는 한국전자통신연구원에서 개발한 바다 DBMS의 저장 시스템이다. MIDAS-II 볼륨은 데이터의 논리적 저장 단위인 파일을 저장하는 영역을 가리킨다. 본 논문에서는, MIDAS-II가 대용량 멀티미디어 데이터 서버의 저장 시스템으로 기능하도록 광 디스크 쥬크박스 또는 테이프 라이브러리와 같이 복수 개의 저장 매체 (platter , 예를 들어 디스크 또는 카트리지 테이프)로 구성된 Tera 바이트 급의 3창 저장 장치를 장착할 경우 이를 위한 볼륨 구조의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 볼륨 구조는 3차 저장 장치 접근 시 성능 제고를 위하여 디스크 캐쉬 영역을 두고 있으며, 3차 저장 장치의 저장 매체별 관리 기능을 제공한다. Abstract MIDAS-II is the storage systemfor BADA DBMS developed at ETRI. A volume of MIDAS-II is the area where the files, the logical unit for storing data, are stored. This paaper describes the design and implementation of a new MIDAS-II volume structure for the tertiary storage device such as an optical disk juke box or a tape library equipped with multiple platters(disks or cartridge tapes, for example ). Incorporating thetertirary storage device of the order of tera bytes into MIDAS-II enables it to function as a storage system for a massive amount fo multimedia eata server. The volume structure for the tertiary storage device proposed in this paper features disk caching for performing improvement and direct control of theindividual platter.

인터넷과 정보기술의 발전은 디지털 자료에 대한 저장방식에 변화를 가져왔으며 이것은 인터넷 웹 저장공간 임대서비스라는 새로운 비즈니스 유형을 창출시켰다. 사이버 저장 공간 및 자료를 상호 공유 할 수 있는 점과 고가의 저장 매체를 소유할 필요가 없다는 장점으로 웹 저장공간 임대서비스 서비스의 수요가 급증하고 있으며, 이러한 서비스에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요한 시점이다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷 웹 저장공간 임대서비스가 사용자에게 정보 저장 공간을 대여해주는 서비스라는 개념하에, 사용자 만족을 이끌 수 있는 웹 저장공간 임대서비스 특성에 대해 실증연구를 수행하였다. 연구의 결과는 사용자의 만족에 영향을 미치는 웹 저장공간 임대서비스의 서비스 품질은 유형성과 신뢰성, 대응성 요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 웹 저장공간 임대서비스를 제공하는 기업은 서비스에 대한 시각적인 디자인과 사이트의 기술수준을 높이고, 사이트 구조에 대해 사용자 측면에서 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 구성하여야 할 필요가 있다. 또한 사용자가 신뢰할 수 있도록 개인 정보 및 공유 자료의 보안성 및 보유정보의 체계화에 비중을 두어야 한다. 마지막으로 사용자들의 요구사항에 즉각 대응할 수 있도록 정보전달 채널을 강화할 필요가 있음을 지적하였다.

Traditional paper records have two aspects such that the paper records are information, and are information media itself. The preservation media for the paper records seems to be another forms for original ones including microfilm and optical disks. On the other hand, new-coming electronic records lack the aspect of information media. To guarantee the existency of the original electronic records we need the preservation media for the electronic records, different from the media for the traditional paper records. The preservation media helps the Authenticity, integrity, and usability as well. This paper describes the need for the preservation media, identifies problems on the existing concept for them, derives the principles to resolve the problems, and suggests the management policy based on the principles.

In this paper, we propose a novel method for authenticating a user's personal-usage using a secure portable storage, so that the user carrying the secure portable storage is able to consume his/her own broadcast programs freely, regardless of the location of the devices. The proposed authentication process is performed by a portable personal-usage authentication device, an access-control module for the portable personal-usage authentication device, and a player integrating the access control module. The portable personal-usage authentication device plays a role of secure storage in which domain authentication information is securely stored, while the access-control module is in charge of accessing the authentication information and, consequently, acquiring a decryption key. The player decrypts the broadcast programs in real time and processes the decrypted media streams. In this Paper, we describe the structure and procedure of the proposed model, and verify its feasibility by implementation.

대부분 기업의 중요 기술정보 유출은 내부자에 의해 이루어진다. 기업의 핵심기술 및 정보유출을 방지하기 위하여 여러 분야에서 많은 투자와 연구가 진행되고 있지만 기술발전에 따라 업무환경과 일하는 방법이 변화하여 물리적보안과 정보보안을 분리한 기존 개별 통제방식은 효용성이 떨어지고 있다. 새로운 환경에 대응하기 위하여 보안 패러다임의 전환이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구는 물리적보안과 정보보안을 융합한 신뢰할 수 있는 인증기반(스마트카드/생체정보) 보안저장매체의 요구기능, 각 기능에 필요한 요소기술에 대하여 고찰한다.

디지털 기술의 급속한 발전으로 디지털 방송에 대한 여러 가지 요소기술과DTV가 곧 상용화 될 전망이다. 본 연구는 대용량 DVD 저장매체를 이용하여 3D 1-n급 방송 스트림을 송출하기 위한 시스템 설계에 관한 것이다. HD급 방송 스트림을 위한 HDD 및 여러 가지 저장매체를 통해 영상 데이터를 억세스를 하지만 데이터 보관방법상의 문제점과 디스크의 원리상 데이터 억세스를 균일하게 처리하지 못하여 발생하는 인터페이스 동기 불일치 등의 문제점이 있다. 그러므로 DVD 매체를 통한 저장방법 및 억세스의 균일함을 제공하고, 송출 출력을 2.4Mpds 인터페이스 고정시켜 응용 프로그램에서 미디어 정보를 MMIO DMA방식으로 버퍼링하므로써 스트림을 재생할 때 동기 등의 문제점을 해결하였으며, 또한 PCI 컨트롤러는 FPGA VHDR coding하여 PC의 3D-Streamer 응용 프로그램의 명령 신호로 제어를 한다. 이 명령에 따라 3D-Streamer는 3차원 입체영상적인 영상출력을 SMTPE-310M으로 출력하거나 8 DVB 모드로 출력을 하게 된다. 따라서 DVD 전송 직병렬 인터페이스로서 다른 셋톱 장치 및 스트림 전송 장치와 데이터 호환을 이루게 된다.

광 회절한계를 극복한 기록밀도 향상 기술로 대두된 근접장 응용 정보저장기술은 차세대 광 정보저장의 핵심기술로 간주되고 있다. 근접장을 응용한 기술에는, 근접장 헤드구조의 관점에서, 근접장 효과 렌즈(SIL), 탐침형, 미소구멍레이저, 안테나 구조 등 나노크기 Aperture를 가지는 구조 등이 있다. 그러나 각각의 근접장 헤드구조에 적합한 특히, 탐침형 근접장 방식에 적합한 근접장 매체에 대한 활발한 연구는 아직 진행되고 있지 않다. (중략)
