Based on the comprehensive literature search and the sample library surveys, some observations are made on the impact of online information technologies for reference services. Various issues specifically with OPAC, CD-ROM, remote database access, and internet environment are overviewed as the source of and trigger for change in reference librarianship and in terms of expectations as well as difficulties. The paper then focuses on how these technologies influence on the roles of reference librarians as intermediaries in information providing, instructing, consulting, and evaluating functions. This leads to rethinking the conceptual basis of today's reference service and the competencies for reference librarians with new functions and responsibilities.

본 논문은 인간의 언어정보처리 과정 중 시각단어재인(visual word recognition) 과정에서 음운정보와 철자정보의 역할 및 심성어휘집의 표상 형태를 알아보기 위해, 계산주의적 모델을 제안하고, 제안된 모델을 이용하여 실험하였다. 실험결과 계산주의적 모텔은 한국어에 대한 시각 단어재인 시 보이는 언어현상 중 음운, 철자 이웃 크기효과(phonological and orthographic neighborhood effect)를 나타냈으며, 이를 통해 한국어 시각단어재인 과정에서 심성어휘집이 음운정보로 표상되어 있다는 것을 시사하는 증거를 보였다.

본 연구에서는 글이해시의 참조관계 처리과정에서 맥락이 어떤 역할을 하며 다른 통사단서와는 어떤 관계를 갖는지를 대명사 해결을 중심으로 조사했다. 실험 1에서는 대용어 문장의 국소적 맥락에 의한 촉진효과가 관찰되었다. 그러나 맥락과 통사단서간의 상호작용으로 맥락 촉진효과는 통사적 명료조건에서보다는 애매조건에서 더 강하게 나타났다. 실험 2에서는 국소적 맥락정보가 없더라도 선행글의 전체주제적 맥락정보가 촉진제 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 전체주의적 맥락이 주어지는 경우 글의 표면구조적 특성에 따른 위치효과가 나타나지 않았다. 즉 두 개의 실험을 통해 대명사 해결에 미치는 통사단서의 효과가 일부 지지되었으며, 특히 맥락효과는 국소적, 총체적 수준에서 모두 일관되게 입증되었다.

인터넷이 대중화 되면서 HTML 기반의 웹 어플리케이션을 통한 정보 공유가 활발해지고 있다. 그러나 HTML이 가지는 한계로 인해 HTML만을 이용하여 정보 보호 서비스를 제공하는 것은 불가능하다. 이를 해결하기 위해 SGML의 복잡한 특성을 단순화하여 만든 " 언어를 위한 언어" XML (extensible Markup Language) 을 이용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 계층적 특성을 가지는 XML을 이용하여 다양한 정보 보호 서비스 중에서 접근제어 서비스를 제공하려 한다. 기존의 임의적 접근제어 모델(MAC)과 강제적 접근제어 모델 (DAC)이 가지는 단점을 보완하면서 사용자와 객체간의 관계를 유연하게 설정할 수 있는 역할 기반 접근제어(RBAC) 모델을 적용하는 “XML문서를 위한 접근제어 모델” 을 제안하려고 한다. 제안하려고 한다.

오늘날의 컴퓨터 환경은 여러 곳에 산재해 있는 자원의 공유를 이한 분산 환경을 지향하고 있다. 클라이어트-서버 환경은 바로 이런 분산 컴퓨터 환경을 잘 구현한 실제 사례 중의 하나이다. 그리고 이러한 분산환경을 지원하는 근간인 유닉스와 같은 운영체제는 여러 명의 사용자가 여러 업무를 동시에 수행하도록 해주는 멀티 유저, 멀티 태스킹 기능을 지원하고 있다. 이러한 다중 사용자 환경에서 원활한 정보의 공유 및 보호가 이루어지기 위해서는 해당 자원에 접근하기 위한 어떤 규칙이 필요하다. 또한 관리해야 할 조직들의 기능이 다양해지고 그 규모가 커짐으로써 조직의 특성에 맞는 보안 정책의 구현 및 원할한 정보 흐름을 위해 역할기반 접근제어가 접근기술로서 현재 많은 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 특히 역할기반 접근제어 기술은 현재의 상업용 환경에서 특히 가치가 있는 다른 형태의 정책이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 역할기반 접근제어를 분석한 결과를 토대로 현재 많은 이슈가되고 있는 전자상거래 및 워크플로우 환경에 적합한 확장된 역할기반 접근제어 모델에 관하여 연구학자 한다.

최근 클라우드 서비스의 호스트를 감염시켜 봇넷화 시킨 후 분산 서비스 거부 공격을 시도하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 이와 같은 공격을 대응하기 위한 방법 중 공격의 근원지를 추적하여 차단함으로써 피해를 감소시키는 역추적 기술이 있으며, 이를 클라우드 환경에 적용시킬 수 있는 방안을 고려해야 한다. 따라서 클라우드 환경에서 분산 서비스 거부 공격의 역추적에 관한 보안 요구사항을 분석하고 이를 기반으로 역추적 기술을 클라우드 환경에 적용시켜 보안성 및 효율성을 향상시키고자 한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of librarians on the role of public libraries related to disasters. For this purpose, the study conducted an online survey for librarian. The survey is composed of 34 questions, including the questions asking librarians' perceptions about the roles of public libraries related to the disasters derived from literature review. The research results are as follows; First, although librarians were not well aware of the roles of public libraries related to disasters, they generally supported the necessity of the role and evaluated the benefits of the role highly. Second, librarians recognized the necessity of the role of the library in the following order of importance; psycho-emotional support for citizens who have experienced disasters; cooperation with disaster support agencies; disaster shelter; disaster information service; archiving disaster experiences of residents; outreach services; community support. Third, librarians recognized that psycho-emotional support services for residents suffering from disasters were the most necessary and beneficial to residents. Fourth, librarians' perceptions of disaster-related library roles changed based on their position and the type of library they belong to. On the basis of these results, the research discussed and suggested what roles each public library should play and what services it should plan, and how it should be implemented during the disaster.

Recently with the emergence of the digital age and the progress of the learning economy, the role of library is expanding from archiving and providing information to education and community service. In this paradigm child education programs at public libraries are strongly demanded by the community. The goal of this study is to analyze the educational roles of child education programs currently being implemented in public libraries. This research tries to incorporate the current child education program into a constructivist perspective. In conclusion, the designed and proposed model in this study was then applied to public libraries' reading education program, and the case was verified through empirical examination and investigation. These studies revealed that the designing of constructivist teaching and the learning model for child education programs was positively verified and found some strategic implication for the development of child education programs in public libraries.
