We analyzed the characteristics of the physicians preferred information sources and barriers through in-depth interviews. Information searches for patient treatment were subdivided into deciding patient treatment methods, understanding the latest treatment trends, and preparing presentation materials for conferences. The variables that affected the search behaviors were identified as being background knowledge on the topic, clinical experience, job title, search skills, user training, and familiarity with the library homepage. PubMed was the most preferred choice because of users' familiarity, reliability, and the vastness of information; Google was also used frequently for easy access and fast search result. The accuracy and the recentness of information were the most significant criteria. Easy interface and convenient access were also considered important due to physicians' time constraints. Searching obstacles were divided into difficulty of searching system, unfamiliar term, too vast resources, difficulty to get fulltext articles and complex advanced search features. The results of this study can be utilized as a basis for improving information service of library and curriculum development for physicians.

This study aims to propose educational information services for social science teachers by analyzing their information seeking behaviors. The author carried out in-depth interviews with thirteen social science teachers in Daejeon and analyzed them using an information seeking behavior model of Leckie, Pettigrew and Sylvain. The study results showed that information needs of social science teachers arise from extrinsic and intrinsic motivations according to their work roles and tasks. Also, the characteristics of information needs such as repeatability, predictability, urgency, and complexity appear to influence information seeking behaviors. The participants used various information sources including web, book, and interpersonal sources. Moreover, the study observed some factors that may influence perception toward information sources such as trustworthiness, information quality, packaging, prior success experience. Finally, the perception change and use frequency of information sources were also identified. Based on these findings, the author proposed information services for social science teachers including integrated information provision services, information literacy programs, networking services and readers advisory services.

1973년 최초로 서비스를 시작한 GPS는 전 세계 60억명 이상이 사용 중이며 거의 모든 사업에 큰 영향을 미치고 있으며, 자동차, 농업, 해양, 일반 안전, 레저활동, 지형공간정보, 항공, 금융, 통신 등 산업 전반에 걸쳐 경제적 이익이 약 1조4천억 달러에 이르는 글로벌 시스템이라 할 수 있다. 최근에는 미국의 GPS 뿐만 아니라 유럽, 러시아, 중국 등 세계 주요국들은 자국의 독자 위성항법시스템을 구축하고 있으며, PNT 정밀성 향상을 위한 위성항법보강시스템의 개발 또한 주요국 중심으로 이루어지고 있다. 4차산업기술의 발달로 인해 다양한 산업의 상용화와 대중화에 따라 PNT 정보의 고정밀, 고신뢰에 대한 수요도 급증하고 있으며, 이에 대한 응용기술 분야에 대한 시장도 급속하게 성장하고 있다. 우리나라에서도 KASS와 같은 위성항법보강시스템 구축을 추진하고 있으며, 향후 독자 위성항법시스템인 KPS의 개발도 진행중에 있다. 그러나 고도 23,000km에서 송출하는 위성신호의 전파교란·기만에 대한 취약성과, 도심지와 같은 위성신호 수신이 열악한 환경에서는 고정밀·고신뢰 PNT 정보를 제공하기가 현실적으로 어려운 실정이다. 이러한 GPS의 취약성을 보완하기 위해 지상기반의 PNT 정보제공 시스템 구축의 필요성이 증대되고 있으며, 전세계적으로 상호보완적 PNT 시스템의 구축·기술개발에 대한 연구가 다양하게 이루어지고 있다.

This study investigated the news report tendency and frame by three major Korean television networks(KBS, MBC, and SBS) in their news reports on issues involving their own interests and considering in social level. The three issues chosen for this study are 'advertising regulations for total amount', 'the reallocation of 700MHz spectrum' and 'raising TV license fee'(this issue applicable only to KBS). By using content analysis method, this study identified extremely weighted tendency toward themselves by the network television channels. They have used highly biased tone and sources to reinforce their private interests in news reports about the three controversial issues. In terms of story content, the news reports have used attribution of responsibility frame dominantly in 'advertising regulations for total amount' issue, whereas the moral frame was dominant in the other two issues.

This study aims to look at overall adolescents' and college students' perceptions of library and explore the sources and their related variables as well as find out related issues of perceptions of library and information use of them. The data for this study were collected through survey and analyzed descriptive statistics and correlation analysis using the data. The result shows the population users preferred search engine so much over library as their information search tool even if they trust library information sources more, also, they tend to seek information sources when it has easiness and fastness to get. Correlation analysis such as ${\chi}^2$ and Spearman were implemented and the result of the correlation shows that many factors of this study covered-such as comparison of information sources-have significant differences each other.

본 연구는 인터넷에서 이용할 수 있는 다양한 종류의 온라인 정보원마다 대학생들이 가지고 있는 인지적 권위가 과제정보 평가에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 선행연구를 기반으로 도출된 변인에 따라, 온라인 학술논문, 온라인 사전, 소셜 Q&A, 온라인 사전에 대해 대학생들이 가지고 있는 각각의 인지적 권위가 과제정보의 정확성, 포괄성, 객관성 평가에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 분석결과, 온라인 사전, 소셜 Q&A, 온라인 사전의 인지적 권위는 과제정보의 정확성, 포괄성, 객관성 평가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 온라인 학술논문의 인지적 권위는 과제정보의 정확성, 포괄성 평가에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to identify important web pages in a particular area The basic premise is that citation analysis can show a similar relationship among different web pages. Web pages about‘weather’were found using a search engine Each web page was examined by hyperlink from other web pases and/or to other web pages. After this process, seven web pases are linked by many web pages. Seven web pages were analyzed by co-citation analysis. The result shows that selected web pages are linked by characteristics of information provided.

본 논문에서는 화학분야 특허 문서에 존재하는 도표(TABLE) 데이터를 인공지능 기술을 활용하여 자동으로 추출하고 정형화된 형태로 가공하는 방법을 제안한다. 특허 문서에서 도표 데이터는 실시예에서 실험결과나 비교결과를 간결하고 가시적으로 표현하기 위하여 주로 사용되나, 셀의 속성을 정의하는 헤더부분과 수치가 표현되는 값 부분의 경계가 모호하여 구조화하는데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 소량의 학습데이터를 구축하고 기계학습을 통해 도표에 존재하는 셀의 속성을 예측하고, 예측된 속성을 토대로 조성과 물성 정보를 자동으로 구분하여 추출하는 방법을 제시한다. 제시된 방법을 활용하여 화학 분야 조성물 특허의 도표데이터에 시뮬레이션 결과 각 항목별 98.17%의 속성 예측 정확도를 나타내었으며 기존 규칙기반 연구보다 작업난이도, 예측정확도에서 우수한 성과를 보인다.

정보검색시 전문(full-text)의 사용이 늘어남에 따라 다의어나 철자오류와 같은 문제점으로 인해 내부적인 정보원의 사용에 한계를 보이면서 외부적인 정보원, 즉 문헌간의 관계와 같은 링크 또는 인용정보에 대한 관심이 높아지게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 인용링크나 피인용링크, 서지결합링크, 동시인용링크 둥과 같은 인용정보와 적합성 피드백 검색을 이용하여 검색 성능을 향상시키는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.
