An Investigation on Data Needs and Data Reuse Behavior in the Field of Social Sciences (사회과학 분야 연구자의 데이터요구와 데이터 재이용 행위에 관한 연구)

  • In today's increasingly data-intensive academic environment, data is becoming the foundation of academic communication as a research outcome rather than a research by-product. However, there is a limit to guaranteeing actual data reuse only by expanding the data supply or securing accessibility. In order to overcome this, it is necessary to understand the data reuse behavior and data needs in-depth. Therefore, this study attempted to identify the major data reuse behavior and data needs among researchers. To this end, the authors of KCI papers among the data reuse documents of the Korea Social Science Data Archive (KOSSDA) for the past 3 years were targeted. An in-depth interview was conducted with 12 researchers who accepted the interview. As a result, factors considered when reusing data were personal, economic, technical, and social aspects, and it was found that the data itself was used or contextual information of the data was used depending on the purpose of data reuse. The path to acquiring data is a web-based source of information, and a path through informal communication can also be found. In terms of the data needs, it was found that they prefer English, the United States, and institutional producers. Also they have a clear preference for quantitative data from an interviewer-filled interpersonal interview survey method, rich metadata along with raw data, and data that contains identification information. However, due to the lack of confidence in the value, it is negative for the use of data with controlled access and use, and it is difficult to confirm a clear preference because there is no similar data available for selection in terms of size and freshness.

한국주식시장(韓國株式市場)에 있어서 반전거래전략(反轉去來戰略) 계속거래전략(繼續去來戰略)의 경제적(經濟的) 유용성(有用性)에 관한 비교연구(比較硏究)

  • 본 논문은 1980년${\sim}$1995년의 16년동안 한국주식시장에 있어서 주식수익률의 시계열자기상관성을 확인하는 행태적 측면과 투자수익률의 경제성을 파악하는 투자성과측면으로 구분된 단계적 검증을 실시함으로써 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략의 존재 및 그 초과수익률의 크기를 연구하였는바 이 연구에서 발견된 중요한 내용은 다음 다섯가지로 요약된다. 첫째, 한국주식시장에 있어서 거래전략의 개발가능성을 평가하기 위하여 특정시점을 기준으로 투자기간수익률과 분석기간수익률간의 시계열자기상관성을 검증한 행태적 측면의 실증결과에 의하면, 시계열속성을 나타내는 베타계수가 유의적인 양(+) 혹은 음(-)을 나타내기 때문에 특정시점 이전의 주식수익률은 목표투자기간동안에 투자할 대상을 선정하는데 중요한 정보원천이 될 수 있으며, 각 투자기간에 있어서 분석기간이 길어질수록 더욱더 유의적인 음(-)의 베타계수를 나타냄에 따라 계속거래전략보다 반전거래전략의 개발가능성이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 주식시장에 전후수익률간의 시계열속성을 활용하여 투자를 하는 경우에 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략이 존재하는지를 파악하기 위하여 Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오 초과수익률간의 차이로써 측정된 수익률을 이용한 실증결과에 의하면, 행태적 측면의 결과와 일관되게 분석기간수익률의 정보를 이용하여 투자기간에 투자하는 경우에 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과하는 거래전략이 존재하고, 또한 Loser와 Winner포트폴리오의 수익률차이값 중 유의적인 음(-)의 값보다는 유의적인 양(+)의 값이 보다 많으므로 반전거래 전략의 활용가능성이 높음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 분석기간에 기초한 투자기간에 대한 투자전략상의 유용성을 최대한 발휘할 수 있는 거래전략과 투자기간을 검증한 Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오의 수익률차이의 1개월 평균값에 의하면, 반전거래전략을 지지하는 경우가 계속거래전략의 경우보다 약 5배이상 높은 값을 실현하였고, 반전거래전략 중에서 분석기간 4개월에 대한 투자기간 24개월의 거래전략이 가장 높은 경제적 성과를 실현하였다. 넷째, 투자종목의 선택측면에서 각 거래전략의 실질적 유용성을 확인하기 위하여 Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오의 고유한 속성을 검증한 결과에 의하면, 각 투자기간에 있어서 분석기간의 길이가 길어질수록 Winner포트폴리오는 유의적인 양(+)의 값을, Winner포트폴리오는 유의적인 음(-)의 값을 나타내었고, 특히 투자기간보다 분석기간의 기간길이가 긴 (투자기간<분석기간)에 이러한 경향이 더욱 뚜렷했다. 따라서, Loser포트폴리오를 매수보유하는 반전거래전략이 Winner포트폴리오를 매수보유하는 계속거래전략보다 적합한 전략임을 알 수 있었다. 다섯째, Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오를 각각 투자대상종목으로써 매수보유한 반전거래전략과 계속거래 전략에 대한 유용성을 비교검증한 Loser포트폴리오와 Winner포트폴리오 각각의 1개월 평균초과수익률에 의하면, 반전거래전략의 Loser포트폴리오가 계속거래전략의 Winner포트폴리오보다 약 5배정도의 높은 1개월 평균초과수익률을 실현하였고, 반전거래전략의 유용성을 충분히 발휘하기 위하여 장단기의 투자기간을 설정할 경우에 6개월에서 36개월로 이동함에 따라 6개월부터 24개월까지는 초과수익률이 상승하지만, 이후로는 감소하므로, 반전거래전략을 활용하는 경우 주식투자기간은 24개월이하의 중단기가 적합함을 발견하였다. 이상의 행태적 측면과 투자성과측면의 실증결과를 통하여 한국주식시장에 있어서 시장수익률을 평균적으로 초과할 수 있는 거래전략은 존재하므로 이러한 전략을 개발 및 활용할 수 있으며, 특히, 한국주식시장에 적합한 거래전략은 반전거래전략이고, 이 전략의 유용성은 투자자가 설정한 투자기간보다 더욱 긴 분석기간의 주식가격정보에 의하여 최대한 발휘될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Study on the snack meal management for infants and toddlers and the demand for snack products according to the sustainable dietary style of mothers in Jeonbuk area (전북지역 어머니의 지속가능 식생활유형에 따른 영유아 자녀의 간식관리 및 간식제품에 대한 요구도 조사)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to examine the snack meal management for infants and toddlers and the demand for snack products according to mothers' sustainable dietary style in the Jeonbuk area. Methods: The participants were 359 mothers in the Jeonbuk area. The data was analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, analysis of variance, and χ2-tests with SPSS v. 25.0. According to the sustainable dietary style, the situation of providing snacks at home, the purchasing behavior for snack products, and the satisfaction and, demand for snack products were investigated. Results: Using the K-clustering method, the sustainable dietary style of the subjects was categorized into 3 clusters. Cluster 1 was the family health-seeking group, cluster 2 was the sustainable dietary trend group, and cluster 3 was the sustainability-interested group. The frequency of snack intakes according to the cluster groups showed a significant difference (p < 0.001). Fruits were the snack item most frequently consumed by all the cluster groups. Approximately 92.8% of mothers had purchased snack products, and 95.2% of the subjects were satisfied with them (p < 0.05). The main reason for satisfaction with the snack products in all the cluster groups was the various kinds of products with considering the growth stage of children. Clusters 2 and 3 required the development of snack products using organic food materials, while cluster 1 required the snack products to be supplemented with various nutrients. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop various snack products according to the sustainable dietary style and the needs of mothers so that these snacks can increase the satisfaction of mothers with the snack products and lead them to better snack purchasing behavior.

An Analysis and Evaluation of Cyber Home Study Contents for Self-directed Learning - Focused on the Earth Science Content of the Science Basic Course for the 7th grade - (사이버가정학습의 자율학습용 콘텐츠 분석 및 평가 - 중학교 1학년 과학 기본과정 지구과학영역을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the self-directed learning contents of Earth science area in the basic course of the 7th grade. For this purpose, we applied the 'Cyber Home Study Content Quality Control Tool' presented in 'Elementary Secondary Education e-Learning Quality Management Guidelines (Ver.2.0)' of Korea Education & Research Information Service (2008). The results of contents analysis are as follow: First, it was presented that the study guide introduced the contents which should be studied for one class, properly. And it was not analyzed that the diagnosis assesment was not completed in the initiative study; Second, it was possible to study choosing the contents fitting the learner's level of learning in the main study, it was comprised of about 15 minutes. Third, it was performed without feedback for incorrect answers in the learning assessment, just the number of wrong questions. And the learning arrangement present the important contents learned in that class, summarizing and arranging again. The results of content evaluation are as follows: First, a big difference was not showed against the needs analysis, instructional design, interaction in each class. And the evaluation of the ethics was not included a word or sentence not suitable. The evaluation of copyright, it was analyzed that Work within the content display in compliance with international copyright Second, the evaluation of instructional design presented mainly the description of a simple picture based, the visible resources like flash card were poor. And in the evaluation of Supporting System, it was presented that the contents were installed so that it was freely available for learners. But it was analyzed that there was no memo-function learners were able to jot down something during the studying contents. And in the evaluation for evaluation, the clear valuation basis about the described content was not presented. So there were slightly differences for each class. Third, in the evaluation and analysis for learning content, it was presented that there were some big differences for each class because it was not composed of the latest information, not corrected and complementary.

The Future of Radio and its Role in the Era of Smart Media (스마트미디어 시대 속 라디오의 미래와 역할 고찰)

  • Radio, the first broadcasting medium in history, is also the first mobile medium that meets the currently mobile ecology based on mobile communications network. As a result, it is easily approachable to consumers, can easily engage individual consumers, and its program contents have a huge appealing power to individual listeners, allowing it to form intimacy with audiences at the closest distance. However, the listening rating of radio has decreased greatly because it has experienced various changes by many other competitive media such as TV and internet and it has been influenced by relative constant hypothesis. Also, radio now faces a bigger competition due to the emergence of smartphone. In this circumstance, radio showed movements to evolve into a digital radio that presents improved sound, strengthened reception power, and increased number of channels, but it suddenly changed to DMB and portable multimedia DMB is having huge problems in its marketability due to smartphone. Yet, the listening rating of analogue radio broadcasting that remained unchanged was 13.99% in 2014, an increase by 47% from 2011, and the percentage of listeners under the age of 18 increased by 2.4 times from 2011 to 2014, which was a unique and interesting phenomenon. Accordingly, this paper compared the characteristics of internet and radio that have the traits of daily life, information, individuality, participatory, adventurousness, alternative media, expertise, and sound media. The paper then examined the listening method of radio, in which the direct groundwave antenna reception through a vehicular device is the most common form during the use of transportation means. Finally, it sought to investigate the future of radio based on the understanding of the increase in radio listening ratings, especially by comparing it to the characteristics of smart generation that focus on smartphone and the internet The study results demonstrated that entertainment and amusements are attempting at changes while they used to be obtained selectively by the smart generation from fragmentary information. In addition, radio is expected to become an influential medium in the future through its advantages of 'selected information' and reliability. However, considering such possibilities, radio needs to build the expertise and reliability of broadcasting contents much more at the same time as its digitalization, and it will be able to have its own competitiveness by focusing on various experiences and cultural exposures.

And in evaluation section of learning contents, the error of contents caused the learning contents not to appear, the amount of learning in each section was found too much. Second, in evaluation section of the strategy for Teaching and Learning, when we mention the strategy of Self Directed Learning, the environment to make learners search for information free and self-study possible was not possessed well. And in evaluation section of interaction, it was found that a simple click caused the learning to go on. Third, in evaluation section of evaluating, it was evaluated that there was wanting in consistency in learning aims, contents, evaluation contents.

Characteristics of preschoolers' giftedness by parents' perception (부모의 지각에 의한 유아 영재의 발달 특성의 변화)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of preschoolers' giftedness by their parents' perception. Total 3 groups of 148 subjects from age 30 months to 6 years 10 months old young gifted children's parents participated. The major findings were as follows : (1) There were critical characteristics of preschoolers' giftedness by parents' perception, which were 'good memory', 'high curiosity', 'read and understand of math', 'enjoy of learning and high motivation', 'high concentration', reading books', 'verbal ability', 'creativity', 'questions', and 'independency', (2) These characteristics of preschoolers' giftedness showed more strong and intense as they got older, and (3) Some characteristics revealed more, but the other characteristics revealed less as they got older. These findings suggested the consideration of child's age as the reliable identification process of young gifted children.
