The recommender system (RS) has emerged as a solution to overcome the constraints of excessive information provision and to maximize profit and reputation for information providers. Although the RS can be implemented with various approaches, there is no study on how to appropriately utilize the information generated from the review of the recommended object. We propose a method to improve the performance of RS by using cluster information generated from online review. We implemented the proposed method and experimented with real data, and confirmed that the performance is significantly improved compared to the existing approaches.

The smart grid is a next-generation power grid to create a new value-added information technology. Power providers and consumers exchange information in real-time bi-directional, and optimize energy efficiency with using the smart grid. This paper describes the concept of demand response of the communication system used in the protocol, implementation of demand response systems with demand response scenarios for power reduction through the air conditioning control.

This study adopts diffusion of innovation theory and analyses product life cycle on two different information communication technology (ICT) products. One is telematics located on introduction and the other one is MP3 located on maturity. The analytical results were mixed. ordinary least square (OLS) result showed that adoption of MP3 player is affected by white noise error ($\varepsilon$) and telematics is influenced by innovation effect (p coefficient) rather than imitation effect (q coefficient) or white noise error. However, nonlinear least square (NLS) result showed that adoption of MP3 player is affected by imitation effect (q coefficient) rather than innovation effect (p coefficient). In addition, the ratio of imitation effect/innovation effect of MP3 player is larger than that of telematics.

국외의 경우엔 일찍부터 컴퓨터 시스템 평가기준이 제정되어 활용중이나 국내의 경우엔 아직 평가기준이 없는 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 국내외 정보시스템의 보안 요구사항과 보증 요구사항을 바탕으로 리눅스 기반 PC의 보안성 평가기준을 제안하고자 한다. 평가등급은 KL(Korea Linux)1, KL2, KL3 등의 3등급으로 분류하였다. 제안된 평가기준은 오픈 소스기반의 리눅스를 이용하여 보안기능을 강화한 운영체제 개발방향을 제시하였고, 보안 시스템 구축의 방향 및 보안표준에 대한 복잡한 문제를 줄였다. 또한 국제공통평가기준(CC : Common Criteria)의 보안기능부분과 보증부분을 거의 수용함으로써, 외국의 보안성 평가기준과 상호 운용이 가능하다.

In this paper, a semi-automated mapping system, which can produ¬ce digital maps by using information acquired from pre-processing procedure, was introduced. To get a binary edge image, which is very important in vectori¬zation process, we applied adaptive smoothing and connection preserving thresho¬Iding algorithm. In mapper program, binary images are converted to vectors and for in-core data structure, extended PR quad tree was used. These procedures are dispatched to personal computers and workstations and through network resource sharing, the whole process was unified and simplified.

Most of the Information Systems(IS) literature has focused on utilitarian or hedonic Information Technology(IT) to explain and predict IT adoption and use. This study investigates the relationships among individuals' beliefs and intention to use of movie website, which has both utilitarian and hedonic characteristics simultaneously. As a theoretical background, this study adopts Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) and Motivation Theory, in which the former is well-known as a theory of IT adoption and use in IS field, and the latter is famous for a theory of individual's behavior in organizational behavior field. With 153 responses, five hypotheses are tested by using structured equation model. The results show that perceived ease of use positively influences perceived usefulness and perceived enjoyment, and that all individuals' beliefs have a positive impact on intention to use of movie web-site. Based upon the study results, movie website's managers and professionals can plan and conduct their courses of action effectively for users' continuous visits on their operating website.

최근 인터넷과 네트워크 기술이 급격히 발전함에 따라 대용량의 동영상 데이터에 대한 서비스 요구가 급격히 증가하고 있으며, 인터넷 사용자는 비디오, 오디오, 텍스트 등으로 표현되는 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠를 쉽게 이용할 수 있게 되었다. 이러한 환경에서 동영상 컨텐츠의 저장, 교환 및 검색에 있어서 보다 나은 편리성을 요구하게 되었고, 이것은 동영상 데이터의 다양한 정보를 기술하기 위한 메타데이터의 중요성을 더욱 증대시키게 되었다. 그러나 이러한 서비스들을 데이터 포맷 및 서비스 종류에 따라 각기 다른 표준을 사용하고 있어 업계간 또는 서비스간에 다르게 표현되는 메타데이터 정보들을 통합 관리하기는 어려운 실정이다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 기존의 메타데이터 관리 시스템의 이점을 수용하고, 이를 확장하여 각각의 표준에 따라 서로 다르게 표현되는 동영상 메타데이터를 통합 관리하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다.

Previous studies, Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Post Acceptance Model (PAM) have a little limitation in time series analysis. To solve this limitation, we used system dynamics as research methodology and designed simulation model based on TAM and PAM. Moreover, we designed new simulation model which can analyize time series data in customers' demand change from initial acceptance to post acceptance. This study targeted domestic mobile phone market. The simulation results showed that diffusion graph was similar to real data. That means we validated our simulation model. Since the simulation model offers the graph of customer's demand change by time, so it can be useful as a leaning tool. Therefore, we think this study helps IT companies use the model for forecasting of market demand.

마이크로셀 시스템에서 트래픽(통화량) 성능은 가입자(사용자)들의 이동성에 민감한 영향을 받는다. 셀 내 체류시간 및 채널점유시간은 이동 속도 및 방향의 추계적인 변화에 의하여 특성지어진다. 셀 내 체류시간은 채널점유시간과 같은 통화량 성능을 분석하는데 기초적으로 이용되는 중요한 정보를 제공한다. 차세대 이동통신 네크워크로 진화해 가는 과정에서 증가하는 사용자들의 접속요청을 수용하고 주파수 효용도를 높이기 위하여 셀의 크기는 매우 작아진다. 셀의 크기가 작아질수록 통화량 성능은 사용자들, 특히 보행자들의 가변적인 이동성에 더욱더 영향을 받게된다. 단순화된 모형을 이용한 기존연구는 제2세대 이동통신에서는 수용할만한 정확성을 보였으나, 통화량 분포의 변화가 시간적으로 크고, 보행자의 이동성에 영향을 많이 받는 picocell (피코셀)의 특성을 적절히 반영하지 못하여 성능분석의 정확성을 기대하기 어렵다. 보행자의 가변적인 이동성을 수리적으로 분석하기 '위하여 랜덤 웍 (random-walk)모형을 적용하여 기존의 연구보다 개선시킨 확률모형을 제안한다. 제안된 모형으로 추계적 상관관계가 있는 보행자 이동성의 가변적 특성을 분석할 수 있다. 주요 통화량 성능지표를 제안된 모형으로 분석하였다.

초고속 통신망에 근간이 되는 ATM 통신망에 SUN W/S, PC 컴퓨터들을 접속시키는 ATM Adapter Card은 하드웨어, 시스템 소프트웨어 및 응용 소프트웨어로 구성된다. 하드웨어의 구조 및 시스템 소프트웨어의 구조, 성능에 따라서 ATM Adapter Card 위에서 수행되는 응용 소프트웨어의 성능을 결정할 것이다. ATM Adapter Card는 효율적으로 Native ATM 응용 소프트웨어를 지원할 뿐 아니라, 기존의 TCP/IP 응용 소프트웨어를 수용하는 IPoverATM, LAN Emulation 기능도 지원하여야 한다. 또한 PVC(Permanent Virtual Channel), SVC(Siganlling Virtual Channel)을 위하여 ATM Forum UNI 3.1에 준한 Signalling도 필요하다. 이러한 조건들을 만족시키기위하여, 현재 개발 완료된 SUN W/S SBus용 디바이스 드라이버는 DLPI(Data Link Provider Interface), STREAM 방식으로 구현하였으며, 현재 개발 중인 PC PCI용 ATM Adapter Card의 디바이스 드라이버는 NDIS 3.0 방식으로 구현 다양한 Transport Layer를 ATM망에 수용하도록 하였다. Signalling은 Daemon Process를 이용하여 구현하였다.
