A Study on the Effects of ICT Infrastructure Cost on Information System Life Cycle (정보시스템 수명주기에 인프라가 미치는 영향관계에 대한 연구)

  • There are many studies on the project planning, project management and quality management. The cost of the new project takes only 20% of system's lifetime resource and the costs of the maintenance and infrastructure take more than 80%, so the study on the maintenance is much more important than the study on the new project. There has been many studies on the economic life cycle of the system using it's maintenance cost, but no studies on it's infrastructure cost. This paper provides how we can adapt infrastructure cost, which takes more than 40% of system's life cycle cost, to the economic life cycle of the system and its effects on the system's economic life cycle.

  • The e-business strategies ultimately pursue creating the maximal value for customers through the competitive advantages and business opportunities newly created on the basis of information technologies. For the realization of e-business strategies, the successful implementation and operation of e-business system must be the crucial activities in and out of an organization. Therefore, in physical world, there were lots of interests that what kind of key factors can lead the success of e-business system. Moreover, in the field of academia also, there have been many research results for investigating and finding out the key success factors for e-business system. However, the perceptual level of the significance of key success factors that organization members perceive can be changed over each phase of system life cycle such phases as introduction, growth, maturity, and decline. This study investigated that there might be significant differences in the perceptual level regarding importance of success factors among phases of system life cycle.

  • 정보시스템의 효과적인 개발 및 운영을 지원하기 위한 활동에는 품질 보증, 감리 등이 있다. 이중에서 감리는 정보시스템의 전체 개발 수명주기에 걸쳐서 시스템의 품질을 개선시키기 위한 핵심활동이라고 할 수 있다. 현재 공공 정보시스템 감리는 기존의 정보시스템감리기준(정보통신부고시제1999-104호)를 활용하여 수행하고 있지만, 감리영역이나 점검사항이 현재 IT 환경과 맞지 않고 실제 감리에 적용하기 어렵다. 또한, 정보시스템 개발수명주기에 걸쳐서 감리를 수행해야함에도 불구하고, 현실은 그렇지 않으며 수명주기별 감리기준도 명확하지가 않다. 본 연구에서는 ISACA(Information Systems Audit and Control Association)의 COBIT(Control Objectives for Information and related Technology)와 IT 관련 국제 표준들을 벤치마킹하여 정보시스템 감리프레임워크를 제시하였고, 이의 운영 및 활용 방안을 제안하였다.

  • 양질의 소프트웨어제품과 서비스를 생산하는 방법은 우수한 선례를 답습하거나, 성공한 선례를 해당 응용업무에 맞도록 발전시키는 것이다. 즉 프로세스들의 모임인 소프트웨어 프로세스를 각각의 소프트웨어 서비스와 시스템의 개발목적에 부합하도록 정의하는 것이다. 프로세스 모임은 정보화사업의 포괄적 관리가 가능하게하며, 사업제기부서가 소프트웨어 시스템에 대한 전반적인 의무와 책임을 갖게 하며, 정보화사업 감리에 있어서 감리 목표 정립과 감리의 시행을 명확하게 한다. 소프트웨어 서비스 및 시스템 개발에 있어서 적합한 프로세스의 모임을 목표프로세스 프로파일(Target Process Profile) 이라고 명명하였다. TPP을 정의함에 있어서는 정의할 대상시스템의 성능과 시스템의 효과성이 어느 정도 가시화되는 여건에서, 소프트웨어 서비스 및 시스템의 수명주기 목표, 수명주기 아키텍쳐 및 수명주기 계획을 도출한다. 즉 아키텍쳐 접근방법, 소프트웨어프로세스의 정착, 및 국제표준의 프로세스에서의 프로세스 모임규칙을 근간으로 하여 TPP의 프레임워크(Framework)을 시안을 작성하였다. 소프트웨어공학의 발전과정에서 프로세스 능력의 성숙도 기준으로 프로세스 모임을 이룬것에 추가하여, 논자는 ISO/IEC 15504 TR 프로세스간의 전후관계에서 TPP을 위한 작업산출물 도출방법을 정의하였다. TPP에 의한 정보화추진은 정보화시대에서 소프트웨어 품질 및 가격에서 경쟁력을 가져오는 요인이 될 것이다.

  • 정보시스템의 개발전략에는 대표적으로 총괄적, 점증적, 진화적 개발전략이 있다. 현재 규모가 큰 사업의 경우, 점증적, 진화적 개발전략을 사용하여 정보시스템을 개발하고 있지만, 개발전략을 적용하기 위한 세부적인 지침이 너무 일반적이거나 부재한 것이 현실이다. 또한, 개발전략에 따른 개발 수명주기 단계별 산출물 관리 체계의 효율성 저하로 사업관리에 어려움이 있었다. 따라서 효율적인 정보시스템 사업추진 및 관리를 위해서 개발전략에 대한 세부적인 지침과 개발 산출물에 대한 관리체계의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 점증적, 진화적 개발전략에 대한 일반 지침을 제시하였고, 개발전략에 따른 개발 수명주기 단계 산출물을 효율적으로 관리하는 체계를 제안하였다.

  • In the recent, due to explosion of Digital Universe, the performance of computer and storage system is reducing. Therefore, the upgrade and capacity expansion needs is growing. Countermeasure for this problem is required fundamental and long-term solutions rather than piecemeal expansion. In this paper, we establish a data management policy for an enterprise through the operational status of storage system and the analysis of data value of it, and implement ILM-based tiered storage system on the basis of these. The results of this study shows the overall throughput was improved about 21% compared to the existing system, it is very effective to maintain continuous quality and reduce operating costs in the long term aspect.

  • The public SW market is 3 trillion won, which is less than 10% of the total SW market. However, due to the nature of the domestic market, it is an important market with a relatively large impact on small and medium-sized software companies. In this market, government is operating the Public SW Project Demand Forecasting System in order to support the marketing activities of small and medium sized SW companies and establish a fair market order. The current system has limitations such as lack of user convenience, insufficient analysis capability and less business connection. This study was conducted to identify the problems of these systems and to propose a new system for improving the convenience of users and expanding the information utilization of SMEs. To this end, we analyzed the requirements of each stakeholder. We proposed the 2-phased forecasting cycle, the management cycle, and the system life cycle of public SW projects and created a unified identifier (UID) so that the information of those projects can be identified and linked among them. As a result, an integrated reference model of project information management based on system life cycle was developed, which can explain the demand forecasting and project information, and the improved processes was also designed to implement them. Through the result of this study, it is expected that integrated management of public SW projects will be possible.

Analyses of Expert Group on the 4th Industrial Revolution: The Perspective of Product Lifecycle Management (4차 산업혁명에 관한 전문가그룹 분석: 제품수명주기관리의 관점에서)

  • The smart factory is an important axis of the 4th industrial revolution. Smart factory is a system that induces the maximum efficiency and effectiveness of production using the IoT and intelligent sensing systems. The product lifecycle management technique is a method that can actively reflect the consumer's requirements in the smart factory and manage the entire process from the consumer to the post management. There have been many studies on product lifecycle management, but studies on how to organize product lifecycle management knowledge domains in preparation for the era of the 4th industrial revolution were insufficient. This study analyzed the opinions of a group of experts preparing for the 4th industrial revolution in terms of product lifecycle management. The impact of the 4th industrial revolution on the detailed knowledge areas of product lifecycle management was investigated. The changes in product lifecycle management were summarized using a qualitative data analysis technique for a group of experts. Based on the opinions of experts, the product lifecycle management, which consists of a total of 30 detailed knowledge areas, was prepared to supplement or prepare for the 4th industrial revolution. This study investigates changes in product lifecycle management in preparation for the 4th industrial revolution in the knowledge domain of the existing defined product life cycle management. In future research, it is necessary to redefine the knowledge domain of product life cycle management suitable for the era of the 4th industrial revolution and investigate the perception of experts. Considering the social culture and technological change factors of the 4th industrial revolution, the scope and scope of product life cycle management can be newly defined.
