Safe Climbing Path Planning by Image Processing (영상 처리에 의한 안전한 등반 경로 계획)

  • This paper deals with a safe climbing path planning for unmanned automatic vehicles. Unlike the existing path planning schemes, the safety is the highest priority for our approach. To achieve this, the global potential field which includes a dangerous zone as well a given terrain information is generated, and the way-points are determined by using image processing such as the erosion operation. The proposed method can reduce the computation effort and the amount of information, and provide the safe climbing path which is similar to human's intuition.

  • Along with trends of other countries, the Ministry of Information and Communication in Korea decided to operate an Information System Audit Institution for raising qualify of computer network facilitated in state organ and public institution, and to construct effective construction of information system. The aim of the audit institution is applying it to public information business, establishing an information system audit qualification system, and upbringing Private audit organs. The Ministry of Information and Communication realized that although the demand of information system area audit is explosively expanding, the National Computerization Agency cannot satisfies the demand and realize to have audit control for the information of national business as well. The Ministry of Information and Communication plan to enforce the audit on public information business by correlate with information business. The ministry enforce that the supervisory company has major roll to audit and national import business decided by the Information Promotion Committee is subject to have audit control. Therefore, in this paper, the contents of internal audit among internal/external audit will be presented.

  • 정보화 시대를 살아가면서 더 많은 조직들이 업무에 있어서 정보의 중요성을 인식하고, 대부분의 조직들은 정보시스템을 주된 기능으로 대체하는데 기초를 둔 컴퓨터 환경으로 변화시킬 계획들을 가지고 있다. 하지만 많은 조직들은 정보시스템의 효율성과 신뢰성을 조사할 필요가 있고 심지어 불평까지 하는 경우도 있다. 오늘날 정보시스템 감리에 대한 수요는 정보시스템의 성공적인 개발을 지원하기 위해 증대하고 있다. 감리의 목표는 정보시스템의 부작용을 막고, 예산의 효율적인 사용을 확신하며 조직의 내부 감리 능력과 인식을 제공하는 것이다. 이런 목표를 성취하고 감리 품질을 높이기 위하여 정보시스템 감리를 제도화하고 공공부문의 정보시스템 감리현황을 조사하고 개선할 필요가 있다. 이 연구에서는 우선 감리와 선행연구, 우리나라 현황 등을 기술한다. 그리고 공공부문 정보시스템 감리의 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

An Autonomous Navigation System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (무인수중로봇을 위한 지능형 자율운항시스템)

  • UUV(Unmanned Underwater Vehicle) should possess an intelligent control software performing intellectual faculties such as cognition, decision and action which are parts of domain expert's ability, because unmanned underwater robot navigates in the hazardous environment where human being can not access directly. In this paper, we suggest a RVC intelligent system architecture which is generally available for unmanned vehicle and develope an autonomous navigation system for UUV, which consists of collision avoidance system, path planning system, and collision-risk computation system. We present an obstacle avoidance algorithm using fuzzy relational products for the collision avoidance system, which guarantees the safety and optimality in view of traversing path. Also, we present a new path-planning algorithm using poly-line for the path planning system. In order to verify the performance of suggested autonomous navigation system, we develop a simulation system, which consists of environment manager, object, and 3-D viewer.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the way of analyzing land uses to utilize GIS in the field of urban planning. The Saga Land Information System was built in early 1990s. The building data were inputted by house investigation map(1/1,000) using digitizer. And urban planning basis investigation data in 1994 were utilized as the attribute data. Also, by calculating specialization factor, we distinct the characteristic of every land use of the city, and it compares every land use zone. This study calculated and compared an observation frequency and an expectation frequency of every building use and land use zone. We found that the use of the building tend to be controlled and guided by the land use zone.

  • Shipbuilding production management is one of the most significant activities in productivity improvement. Shop-floor managers and production planners still do not have enough production information for shop-floor scheduling due to shortage of information sharing among them. In this research, main issues were derived from requirement analysis between production planning and shop-floor control to establish a software system architecture for ship production monitoring system(SPMS), which is developed with component based design(CBD). The proposed system's key functions cover from block shop assembly to quay outfitting stage to visualize production progress as well as to maximize production information sharing. The system will allow more reliable and accurate production information to permeate down to members of the workforce just in time.
