본 논문에서는 사람들이 일상생활에서 빈번히 접하는 후각 자극 물질(냄새)에 따른 스트레스 요인 분석을 위한 보조도구 장치인 후각 자극기를 제안한다. 기존 후각 자극 물질에 대해 피시험자의 정신적 요인 분석 연구에서는 실험자가 직접 손 등을 이용하여 수동으로 자극을 제시하여 주변환경내에서의 냄새 물질의 오염, 정확한 시간 동기화할 수 없는 문제점 등이 있다. 본 논문에서 후각 자극에 따른 피시험자의 정신적 요인 분석을 보다 정확하게 할 수 있는 후각 자극기를 구현하였다.

기존의 옷장은 습도를 조절하려면 사용자가 스스로 습기와 냄새를 조절하기 위해 숯, 신문지, 선풍기 등의 보조적인 물품을 이용하여 습도 및 냄새를 제어하는 방식을 주로 사용한다. 집안의 습도를 조절하는 제습기, 냉장고나 화장실같이 습도가 높을 수밖에 없는 장소에 습도를 조절하기 위한 특수 제습제들이 출시되어 있다. 그중 옷장을 위한 보조 물품으로 여러 가지 제습제들이 개발되어 사용되고 있지만 여러 가지 불편한 점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 현재 시중에 제공되고 있는 옷, 냉장고보다 저렴하고 효율이 높은 옷장의 습도 자동화를 위해 습도 센서를 이용해 옷장안의 습도를 점검하고 직접 또는 원격으로 조절하는 효율적인 관리 방법을 알아보고 이를 통해 옷장의 습도 자동화에 따른 장점들을 종합하여 효율적인 옷장의 습도 조절 방법을 제시하였다.

Complexity and maintenance cost of software increase as much as software has been evolved, therefore importance of software maintenance recently arise. There are many signs that are difficulties to maintain software, called bad smell, in a large-scale software. The bad smell should be removed to improve maintainability. Recently, many software refactoring methods have researched to terminate the bad smell. In this paper, we propose how to identify long parameter list, which causes bad smell, and how to solve the problem for increasing software maintainability. In our approach, we classify the parameters for creating new objects by measuring semantic similarity among them. This is evaluated by experienced software developers, and the result is statistically verified.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the sniffing position and the modified ramped position, which was created by using a specially designed instrument, to improve the performance of advanced airway management during endotracheal intubation. The study included 30 students from the Department of Emergency technology, N University, who had completed advanced cardiac life support and advanced airway management. The randomized crossover study was conducted with the students who were randomly assigned into two groups; Sniffing position and Modified ramped position. As a result of the study, the modified ramped position showed better glottal vision than the sniffing posture, and there was a significant difference in speed time. In the subject's subjective ease, confidence, and preference, the modified ramped position showed better results than the sniffing posture. Therefore, it is considered that modified ramped position during endotracheal intubation will help improve the performance of advanced airway management.

This study aims to explore how users are tagging in order to utilize a folksonomy and whether they understand the social and interactive aspects of tagging in three different folksonomic systems, Connotea (www.connotea.org), Delicious(http://delicious.com), and CiteULike(www.citeulike.org). The study uses internet questionnaires, qualitative diary studies, and follow-up interviews to understand twelve participants' tagging activities associated with folksonomic interactions. The flow charts developed from the twelve participants showed that tagging was a quite complex process, in which each tagging activity was interconnected, and a variety of folksonomic system features were employed. Three main tagging activities involved in the tagging processes have been identified: item selection, tag assignment, and tag searching and discovery. During the tag assignment, participants would describe their tagging motivations related to various types of tags. Their perception of the usefulness of types of tags was different when their purpose was for social sharing rather than personal information management. While tagging, participants recognized the social potential of a folksonomic system and used interactive aspects of tagging via various features of the folksonomic system. It is hoped that this empirical study will provide insight into theoretical and practical issues regarding users' perceptions and use of folksonomy in accessing, sharing, and navigating internet resources.
