Problem Analysis and Recommendations of Memory Contents in High School Informatics Textbooks (고등학교 정보 교과서에 제시된 기억 장치 영역 내용의 문제점 분석 및 개선 방안)

  • One of the major goals in high school Informatics is for students to develop creative problem-solving abilities based on knowledge on computer science. Thus, the contents of the textbooks should be accurate and appropriate. However, we discovered that the current Informatics textbooks contain the untrue and/or inappropriate descriptions of main memory and virtual memory. The textbooks describe that main memory is composed of RAM and ROM. The virtual memory is described as a technique in which a part of the secondary storage is utilized as main memory to execute an application of which size is larger than that of main memory. In this study, we attempted to uncover the root causes of the fallacies, and suggest the accurate explanations by comparing with renowned books adopted in most schools worldwide including USA. Our study reveals that it is inappropriate to include ROM in main memory from the memory hierarchy perspective. Virtual memory is a technique that provides convenience to programmers, through which an operating system loads the necessary portion of a program from secondary storage to main memory. As for the advantages of virtual memory in the current computer systems, the focus should be on providing the effective multitasking capability, rather than on executing a larger program than the size of main memory. We suggest that it is appropriate to exclude virtual memory in textbooks considering its complexity.

Analysis of Inquiry Tendency in 'Problem-Solving Method and Process' Sections in the 2009 Authorized Informatics Textbooks (2009년 검정교과서로 채택된 '정보' 교과서 '문제 해결 방법과 절차' 영역 구성의 탐구적 경향 분석)

  • The 2007 revised curriculum designated information-related subjects informatics and changed the direction of education by stressing problem-solving skills in consideration of the characteristics of the subject. The purpose of this study was to examine whether the problem-solving method and process sections of informatics textbooks had an inquiry tendency to foster the problem-solving skills of students. Four textbooks that were widely selected from among the authorized textbooks were analyzed by utilizing Romey method. As a result, just one textbook was found to have an inquiry tendency in terms of texts, but every textbook had a sufficient inquiry tendency in terms of activities. But in terms of structure, there were some problems that commercial softwares were utilized and some softwares employed a particular programming language. The findings of the study suggest that no question should be posed about intrinsic inequality in conjunction with textbook selection, and that textbooks should be structured not to make students adversely affected by learning environments.

  • As the complexity of organizations grow, the practice of accounting necessarily becomes more and more sophisticated. As a result, accounting is becoming increasingly dependent upon computers to facilitate the interaction of measurement analysis, and reporting that is so essential in business today. Enhancements in technology-in particular, the development of computer technology-have dramatically altered the practice of accounting. This study represents a new approach in technology-based education and contains how to use Microsoft Excel 97 In preparing general ledger.

  • 최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 핵심적인 요소 기술인 상황인식 시스템을 실현하기 위해 이에 필요한 상황정보를 수집하는데 점차 센서의 활용과 응용분야가 확대되고 있다. 상황인식 서비스는 센서로부터 수집된 상황정보의 수집 및 교환을 통해 인식하고, 해석 및 추론 과정을 거쳐 사용자에게 상황에 적절한 서비스를 제공하는 것으로 매장, 의료, 교육 등의 응용분야에서 많이 연구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Boole 함수 및 다치 논리함수의 미분을 이용하여 유비쿼터스 환경 하에서 주변상황 등을 인식하는 방법과 그 인식 결과를 해석하고 주변상황의 변화에 따른 적절한 서비스를 제공하는 모델을 제안하고 적용 예를 통하여 확인한다.

  • 2004년 이후로 무형유산의 중요성이 대두되면서 박물관의 설립 및 전시 콘텐츠의 수요는 증가하고 있으나, 그 콘텐츠를 활용한 ICT응용기술 발전이 미흡하였다. 본 논문에서는 국가무형유산중 하나인 봉산 탈춤을 기반으로 사용자의 상호작용이 가능한 교육형 인터랙션 콘텐츠 응용을 제안한다. 키넥트와 팔에 장착된 자이로 센서들을 활용한 향상된 동작 추적을 기반으로, 사용자는 봉산탈춤의 기본 동작 및 과정을 따라함으로써 봉산탈춤을 학습 할 수 있다.

  • VANET에서 V2V, V2I 통신을 통해 다양한 서비스를 이용하기 위해서는 안전하고 신뢰성 있는 통신이 보장되어야 한다. 이를 위해 다양한 연구들이 진행되었으며, 기존 연구들 중 대칭키를 사용한 방법으로는 RAISE가 있다. RAISE는 대칭키를 기반으로 하였기 때문에 다른 연구들 보다 낮은 통신 및 연산 비용을 가진다. 하지만 메시지에 대한 인증을 즉시 제공하지 못하며, RSU가 불능이 되거나 존재하지 않는 환경에서는 차량이 서비스를 제공받지 못한다는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 대칭키 기반의 그룹키와 식별자를 사용하여 메시지 인증을 제공하고, 메시지 인증과정에서 RSU에 비의존적인 인증 프로토콜을 제안한다.

  • RSA는 인수분해의 어려움에 기반한 공개키 암호 시스템으로, 여러 분야에서 사용되고 있지만 연산속도가 느리다는 단점이 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 RSA-CRT 기법이 제안되었다. 법의 크기를 줄여 연산 속도가 빠르다는 장점이 있는 반면 오류주입공격에 취약하다는 단점이 있다. 이를 보완 하기 위한 여러 기법들이 제안되었다. 하지만 제안된 기법들은 연산과정이 상대적으로 복잡하고 부가적인 연산에 따른 부담이 생겼다. 본 논문에서는 RSA-CRT 를 구현하여 사용되는 인자들의 크기에 따른 연산시간을 정량적으로 비교하고, 가상적으로 각 인자에 오류주입공격을 취해봄으로써 소수 추출에 약한 부분을 찾고 향후 연구 방향을 모색한다.

An Empirical Study on the Factors and Resolution Methods of the Smart Divide of Older Adults (노년층의 스마트 정보격차 요인 및 해소방안에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • This research was conducted both to analyze the determining factors of and to suggest resolution methods for the smart divide of adults over 65 years of age in the rapidly aging society of the 2000s and the smart society of the 2010s following the information society of the 1990s. The research model based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) includes 6 determining factors derived from existing studies: Self Efficacy, Training, Accessibility, Playfulness, Cost Rationality, and Policy Support. Research data were collected through a survey given to a total of 243 older adults in 14 Senior Welfare Centers nationwide, and research hypotheses were verified by structural equation model (SEM) analysis. The results of this research that gives priority to the order of Political Support, Playfulness, Self Efficacy, Accessibility, Cost Rationality, and Training can be used to develop various resolution methods for the smart divide of adults over 65 years of age.

Item Analysis of information-related foundation in the Japanese National Center Test for University Admissions (일본 대학입시센터시험 정보관계기초 문항 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze of Information-related subjects on industry department of college scholastic ability test in Korea and Japan. These were compared with information-related foundation and data-technology foundation, programming on industry department test of vocational education area in college scholastic ability test in Korea and Japan and suggest implications of items development of college scholastic ability test in Korea. Based on the results of study, the following recommendations were made for new direction of items development of college scholastic ability test in Korea. First, Information-related foundation on industry department of National Center for University Entrance Examinations in Japan consisted of basic informations of agricultural, industry, commercial department etc. of vocational education area. Similarly it is necessary to introduce 'computer-related foundation' consist of common contents of several departments of college scholastic ability test in Korea. Second, it is necessary to diverse sub-item situations different from main item situations and introduce diverse situations of set type items of college scholastic ability test in Korea. Third, test for National Center for University Entrance Examinations in Japan consisted of several types items like this selecting answers on multi-answer group. it is necessary to introduce short answer type, completion type and supply type of college scholastic ability test in Korea.

Perceptions of Freshmen Students on the Use of A University Library Site (신입생들의 대학도서관 사이트에 관한 인식)

  • This study examined the perceptions of freshmen students on the use of a university library site. The students were in the beginning month of their undergraduate program in Hansung University without being taught a formal library instruction session. The results show users experienced uncertainty, difficultly, confusion and anxiety while they were interacting with various functions of the library site. The findings revealed that the users' perceptions were originated from: (1) the insufficiency of the students' knowledge and skills related to library use and (2) the inadequacy of the library system features, in particular its interface features. Based on the findings, implications to improve library instructional services and system interfaces are suggested.
