최근 소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용자의 폭발적인 증가 추세와 더불어 사용자 기반의 정보 공유 패러다임이 확산됨에 따라 효과적인 정보 공유를 위한 검색 방법 및 정보 분류의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 소셜 네트워크 서비스는 관계도 탐색, 유사한 관심사의 사람들과 정보 공유, 추천시스템 등의 주요 서비스를 사용자 기반으로 구축하는 방향으로 연구가 진행되고 있으나 낮은 정보의 신뢰성으로 인해 지능적인 검색 및 정보 분류에 한계가 있었다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 소셜 네트워크 서비스인 Facebook 을 기반으로, 낮은 정보의 신뢰성을 높이고 사용자의 소셜 검색 만족도를 높일 수 있는 사용자 그룹 분류 기법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 Facebook 사용자의 메타데이터를 수집하고 관계로 맺어진 사용자들간의 친밀도를 메타데이터 기반으로 계산하며 유사한 관심 정보에 따라 분류하고 효과적으로 사용자들을 그룹화한다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 관계로 이루어진 사용자 친밀도와 그룹 분류가 효과적으로 수행되었음을 보인다.

네트워크 하드웨어와 인터넷 서비스 관련기술의 발전과 더불어 인터넷에서는 매일매일 상상하지 못했던 새로운 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 새롭게 제공되는 대부분의 서비스는 이미지, 오디오, 비디오와 같은 멀티미디어 컨텐트를 포함하고 있다. 현재 제공되고 있는 대부분의 검색서비스는 멀티미디어 컨텐트를 브라우징하거나 검색하는데 부적절하거나 비효율적이다. 따라서 멀티미디어 켄텐트를 효율적으로 검색하고 브라우징하는 새로운 검색서비스가 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 한국통신 멀티미디어연구소에서 개발한 멀티미디어 검색 시스템인 미디어웨이즈[4]를 기반으로 하여 현재 서비스중인 한미르의 멀티미디어 검색 서비스에 대한 전반적인 시스템 구성을 살펴보겠다. 특히 빠르고 정확한 검색을 위해 데이터관리의 측면에서 모듈로 살펴보겠다.

UDDI는 인터넷에 분산되어 있는 웹서비스에 대한 메타 정보를 저장하고 이에 대한 다양한 검색 기능을 제공함으로써 서비스 요청자가 원하는 서비스를 손쉽게 발견할 수 있도록 하는 Repository 시스템이다［1］. 본 논문에서는 Repository 시스템의 데이터 구조 및 아키텍쳐 설계에 관한 선행 연구를 바탕으로 UDDI 3.0 표준 명세를 따르는 Repository 시스템의 저장 및 검색 기능을 설계하고 구현한다. 본 논문은 이를 위해 XML 형태의 UDDI 데이터를 데이터베이스에 효율적으로 저장하기 위한 저장 구조 설계를 설명하고 이를 통한 효율적인 UDDI 저장 기능의 설계와 구현에 관하여 설명한다. 또한 표준에서 명시하는 다양한 검색 방법을 분석하고 저장된 웹서비스 정보를 효율적으로 발견할 수 있도록 하는 검색 기능의 설계와 구현에 관해서 설명한다.

Information retrieval on World Wide Web is very different from the one in traditional environment. Since Internet user's searching behavior shows it's own special search characteristics, a study of user's specific characteristics is necessary to offer better services. Through analysis and examination of Internet user behaviors, we suggest guidelines of design for developing Internet -based information retrieval systems.

시맨틱 웹 기반의 차세대 정보 서비스인 OntoFrame2007은 시맨틱 웹과 웹 2.0 기술을 상호 보완하여 개발한 플랫폼으로 URI기반의 개체 중심적 통합 검색을 통해 Topic, Person, Event 기반의 개체 페이지를 구성한다. 각 페이지에는 Add-on 서비스를 통해 연구자 그룹, 연구자 네트워크, 통계 정보를 제공하며, 매쉬업 기술을 이용하여 매핑 서비스, 도서 서비스를 제공한다. OntoFrame2007은 서비스 설계 과정에서 Google, Google Scholar, CiteSeer, yesKisti 사이트와 비교하여 사용자의 요구사항 및 각 서비스의 장점을 최대한 반영시켰으며, 개발 단계마다 반복적 사용성 평가를 통해 사용자 중심의 서비스를 제공하도록 개선시켰다. 본 시스템에서는 URI를 통해 개체의 모호성을 제거하여 키워드 기반의 통합 검색의 한계를 극복하였으며, 사용자 질의어를 식별하여 단위 서비스로 구성된 최적 개체 페이지를 통해 정교한 검색 서비스를 제공해준다. 개체 페이지들은 키워드 검색 결과, 연구 동향 정보 및 연구자 그룹, 전문가 네트워크 및 지역별 연구 동향 등을 제공해준다.

최근들어 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS) 시스템들이 많이 등장하고 있다. 아울러 스마트폰 기기에서 사용할 수 있는 다양한 서비스들도 나오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 커뮤니티 및 검색을 바탕으로 스마트폰 기기에서 이동 중에 사용자의 이용성과 편의성을 제공하는 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 SNS에 대하여 논하고자 한다. 커뮤니티 서비스, RSS 뉴스 서비스, 블로그 서비스, 위치 및 약속 서비스, 친구관리 및 채팅 서비스, 검색 서비스 등 다양한 내용을 서비스 할 수 있는 웹기반 시스템으로 구성되어 있다. 본 서비스는 모바일을 통한 커뮤니티 및 친구간의 약속 및 메신저 기능 등의 SNS을 제공한다. 아울러 기본적으로 날씨, 뉴스, 사전 및 정보검색 등의 편리한 기능을 제공한다.

In traditional environment, user must search each journal OPAC, bibliographic DB, and full-text DB and E-Journal separately until user finds scientific and technology informations that he needs. The purpose of this study is to build one-click service system of Journals that supports integrating search. This system provides various functions, such as, journal browsing, journal search, article search, alert function, my library, document delivery service by integrating databases and electronic journals. Users search all information sources through journal OPAC and acquire journal full-text by single interface.

최근에는 도서관 웹사이트보다는 상용 검색엔진이나 포털사이트를 통해 학술정보 검색서비스를 이용하는 이용자가 많아지고 있다. 링크리졸버는 검색엔진과 도서관 서비스를 연결할 수 있으며, 이용자는 한 번의 클릭으로 소속 도서관에서 구독하고 있는 자료에 접근할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 국가과학기술정보센터(NDSL)에서 서비스하고 있는 과학기술정보와 외부의 학술자원을 링킹할 수 있는 링크리졸버를 OpenAPI 형태로 설계하고 구현하였다.

To effectively manage research information in the field of national defense, metadata about the information should be managed systematically, and an integrated system to help convergence and management of the information should be implemented based on the metadata. In addition, the system should provide the users with effective integrated search services in a mobile environment, because searching via the use of mobile devices is increasing. The objective of this paper is to suggest a MSISS (Mobile Semantic Integrated Search System), which satisfies the requirements for effective management of the national defense research information. Specifically, we defined national defense research ontologies and national defense research rules after analyzing the Dublin Core metadata and database information of the major military research institutions. We implemented a prototype system for MSISS to demonstrate the use of the ontologies and rules for semantic integrated searching of the military research information. We also presented a triple-based search service to support semantic integrated search in a mobile environment and suggested future mobile semantic integrated search services.

It was active comparative studies to search effectively patent information online before and after 1990. There was a few studies about user interface of internet based patent information in the end of 1990's. Since 1990's, there is no user interface studies on patent information. Nowadays, patent informations are served very differently according to service providers. This paper focuses on search interface of web-based patent information service and compares about each component.
