The Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongsangmando(BuUlGyeong) megacity aims to grow into the second metropolitan area by strengthening the growth and connectivity of the southeast region in Korea. In order to analyze the linkage between port logistics and regional economic development, this study focused on the economic community of BuUlGyeong. The findings are as follows. First, it was found that vessel entry and departure had a positive (+) significant effect on cargo volume. Second, the cargo volume was found to have a preemptive effect on the vessel entry and exit ports and the composite index. Third, the composite Index was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on cargo volume. From the results of the variance decomposition, it can be confirmed that the composite index has a weak impact on ship entry/exit and cargo volume. Based on the above findings, some policy implications are derived. First, regional governments in BuUlGyeong should provide incentives to revitalize the maritime economy such as the expansion of maritime port infrastructure and encouraging investment. Second, since an increase in cargo transport volume at major national ports linked to the BuUlGyeong region has a positive (+) effect on economy. Therefore it is necessary to expand actively port marketing and regular service for the country and ports. Third, investments should be made continuously to expand the marine port infrastructure such as the expansion of facilities so that global shipping companies can continue to call megacities in BuUlGyeong ports for super-large ships and cruises.

Dissolved nutrients in seawater are a key variable for understanding the role of the ocean in controlling atmospheric carbon dioxide, which is a major cause of global warming. In order to continuously monitor changes in the marine environment in the waters around the Korean Peninsula, dissolved nutrient data are being measured through regular observations by national institutions and various research projects. To increase the utilization of these data, the Jurisdictional Ocean Information Sharing System (JOISS), which integrates data from each institution, was established. In this study, for the dissolved nutrient data of JOISS, primary quality control was performed using the regional dissolved nutrient concentration range in the waters around the Korean Peninsula, and the correlation between the dissolved nutrient and other oceanographic characteristics or the correlation within dissolved nutrient components. Providing the quality control flags of regional range and primary quality control may increase the reliability of JOISS dissolved nutrient data and promote the utilization of dissolved nutrient data in JOISS. In addition, we proposed a secondary quality control method essential for improving the international comparability of JOISS dissolved nutrients.
Consumer satisfaction/dissatisfaction is key determinant of brand loyalty and store patronage behavior. But the results of many customer satisfaction surveys implemented by department stores show that consumer satisfactions do not predict the actual patronage behaviors well. The main reason of these surprising results would be that the consumer satisfaction indexes do not include some important determinants of consumer satisfaction. Many customer satisfaction surveys mainly focus on the evaluation of functional benefits including product assortments, merchandise prices and locational convenience. Recent studies indicate that emotional/hedonic benefits strongly influence the consumer satisfaction, intention to repurchase and intention to revisit. Our study suggests that both functional values and hedonic values should be included in developing the index of consumer satisfactions. The purpose of our study is to investigate the relationship between shopping value and consumer satisfaction, and actual patronage behavior. Shopping values is defined as the difference between total benefits and total shopping costs. Total benefits include the dimensions of product quality, service quality, and hedonic benefits. Total costs are classified as the monetary costs and non-monetary cost. The conceptual framework developed for this empirical study is as follows.
The purpose of this article is to investigate Lee Je-rna'os viewpoint of Morpho-Image. In the first place, I will define the viewpoint of Morpho-Image as the the structure of recognition and study it through bibliographic study on Lee Je-ma's work. The conclusions summarized as follows; 1. The structure of recognition, represented in "Gyukchigo(格致藁)" "Dongyi Soose Bowon Sasang Chobonkyon(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)", is based on Taigi(太極), Liangyi(兩儀), Sasang(四象). There are the mind of Taigi(太極), the mind of Liangyi(兩儀) separated from Taigi(太極), the mind of Sasang(四象) separated from Liangyi(兩儀). The mind of Taigi(太極) is the mind of center, the mind of Liangyi(兩儀) is the mind of the mind and body(or the wisdom and action). Two axis, the mind(or wisdom) and the body(or action), cross and make Sasang(四象), affair-mind-body-object which classifies all affairs and objects of humans, society, and the universe as four types. 2. Lee Je-ma summarized everything in view of Sasang(四象), Sasang(四象) in view of Liangyi(兩儀), Liangyi(兩儀) in view of Taigi(太極). 3. The procedure of recognition above is described in , , . In a seminal judgment of November 2002 (Case C-476/98) relating to the compatibility with Community laws of the 'nationality clause' in the 1996 amending protocol to the 1955 U.S.-German Air Services Agreement, the European Court of Justice(ECJ) decided that the provision constituted a measure of an intrinsically discriminatory nature and was thus contrary to the principle of national treatment established under Art. 52 of the EC Treaty. The Court, rejecting bluntly the German government' submissions relying on public policy grounds(Art. 56, EC Treaty), seemed content to declare and rule that the protocol provision requiring a contracting state party to ensure substantial ownership and effective control by its nationals of its designated airlines had violated the requirement of national treatment reserved for other Community Members under the salient Treaty provision. The German counterclaims against the Commission, although tantalizing not only from the perusal of the judgment but from the perspective of international air law, were nonetheless invariably correct and to the point. For such a clause has been justified to defend the 'fundamental interests of society from a serious threat' that may result from granting operating licenses or necessary technical authorizations to an airline company of a third country. Indeed, the nationality clause has been inserted in most of the liberal bilaterals to allow the parties to enforce their own national laws and regulations governing aviation safety and security. Such a clause is not targeted as a device for discriminating against the nationals of any third State. It simply acts as the minimum legal safeguards against aviation risk empowering a party to take legal control of the designated airlines. Unfortunately, the German call for the review of such a foremost objective and rationale underlying the nationality clause landed on the deaf ears of the Court which appeared quite happy not to take stock of the potential implications and consequences in its absence and of the legality under international law of the 'national treatment' requirement of Community laws. Again, while US law limits foreign shareholders to 24.9% of its airlines, the European Community limits non-EC ownership to 49%, precluding any ownership and effective control by foreign nationals of EC airlines, let alone any foreign takeover and merger. Given this, it appears inconsistent and unreasonable for the EC to demand, $vis-{\grave{a}}-vis$ a non-EC third State, national treatment for all of its Member States. The ECJ's decision was also wrongly premised on the precedence of Community laws over international law, and in particular, international air law. It simply is another form of asserting and enforcing de facto extraterritorial application of Community laws to a non-EC third country. Again, the ruling runs counter to an established rule of international law that a treaty does not, as a matter of principle, create either obligations or rights for a third State. Aside from the legal problems, the 'national treatment' may not be economically justified either, in light of the free-rider problem and resulting externalities or inefficiency. On the strength of international law and economics, therefore, airlines of Community Members other than the designated German and U.S. air carriers are neither eligible for traffic rights, nor entitled to operate between or 'free-ride' on the U.S. and German points. All in all and in all fairness, the European Court's ruling was nothing short of an outright condemnation of established rules and principles of international law and international air law. Nor is the national treatment requirement justified by the economic logic of deregulation or liberalization of aviation markets. Nor has the requirement much to do with fair competition and increased efficiency.

This study was conducted to investigate the dietary effect of total mixed rations (TMR) containing brewers grain, soybean curd and rice straw, respectively, on growth performance and carcass characteristics of Hanwoo steers. Twenty four Hanwoo steers (average body weight 168 kg) in 6 months age were randomly allocated to 4 experimental groups, which contained 6 animals per group during 22-months feeding trial. The treatment was composed of the group fed concentrate and rice straw separately (T1), the group fed TMR containing brewers grain (T2), the group fed TMR containing soybean curd (T3) and the group fed TMR containing rice straw (T4). Body weight (BW) was not different among treatment groups during the growing and middle fattening period. However, it was significantly greater in T4 group than in T2 group on the final BW (p<0.05). Average daily gain was significantly greater in TMR groups compared to T1 group on the growing and late fattening (p<0.05). However, it was not different in total average. Dry matter intake tended to be increased in TMR groups. The feed conversion ratio was significantly lower in T4 group compare to T2 group (p<0.05). According to the yield traits, carcass weight of T1, T2, T3 and T4 were 389.0, 368.4, 387.5 and 384.3 kg, respectively. The back fat thickness, rib-eye area, and yield index were not different among the groups. Meat color, fat color, texture and maturity were not significantly different among groups. However, marbling score and appearance rate of meat quality grade of over $1^+$ were greater in T2 and T3 groups compare to other groups. Therefore, these results indicated that TMR with brewers grain and soybean curd may be ameliorated the growth performance and carcass characteristics of Hanwoo steers.
This study was performed to develop children's food quality certification system as part of the children's favorite foods safety management projects. As a component of the research, we developed a quality certification logo to build up brand image which is familiar with children, as well as to offer the right standard and opportunity for food selection. The age level contains elementary graders from 8 to 13. The logo concept was focused on 'Safety', 'Certification, Guidance' and 'Health' in accordance with the vision of the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA), "Safe food, good nutrition and healthy children". The logo name was proposed as "Best Food for Children", "Safety Food for Children" and "Children Good Food", which was decided by public subscription in the KFDA. The 36 tentative plans for a seal were proposed depending on names. We conducted a survey for the 12 logo samples, designed by the name of "Children Good Food", to use as the basic material for the development of logo to convey the meaning of children's food quality certification system effectively. This survey was conducted among 321 elementary graders and 331 parents of elementary graders. We selected the most favorite design through the survey and applied it for products practicality. It is expected that a steady policy may be possible to implement by applying the basis of the children's food project.
This study investigated the operation criteria of specialized complexes for horticultural production reflecting the farmers' preferences. First, the analysis of the communal activity included six factors: the group purchase of consumables for common activity, group purchase of the greenhouse apparatus, cooperative seed raising, use of a common air conditioning and heating system, cooperative shipping, and soil examination and certification system. The results of the Importance-Performance analysis can be summarized as follows. The factors requiring good management included the group purchase of consumables for common activity, group purchase of the greenhouse apparatus, and cooperative shipping. The factors with a lower priority included cooperative seed raising and the use of a common air conditioning and heating system. While the importance of the soil examination and certification system was low, the satisfaction was high, so this factor needs to be managed to avoid overkill. Second, the analysis of information exchange and education included six factors: production technique information, greenhouse facility management information, distribution-related information, production technique education, greenhouse facility management education, and distribution-related education. The results of the Importance-Performance analysis can be summarized as follows. The factor of production technique education was the most important determinant, plus the factors requiring good management included production technique information, greenhouse facility management information, and distribution-related information. The factors with a lower priority included greenhouse facility management education and distribution-related education. Therefore, to enhance productivity through facility modernization, the scaling up and creation of more specialized horticulture complexes are recommended as policy measures to gain export competitiveness. As the Korean government is expected to expand the scale of specialized horticulture complexes, the results of this paper can be widely utilized.

Morphological estimation of human spermatozoa is complicated by the fact that there is great natural variation in shape. This natural variation in shapes makes it difficult to say which forms are associated with infertility and which are normal variations. Possibly post coital test or in vitro cervical mucus penetration tests will help to clarify this question by showing which sperm are capable of penetration. The purpose of this investigation was performed to assess distribution of various morphological abnormalities according to the ability of sperm to penetrate cervical mucus. The sperm-mucus penetration using hen's egg white as substituting mucus for human cervical mucus was done in 45 fertile men with normal semen analysis and 122 infertile men with abnormal seminal parameters more than one. The female partners of 122 infertile couples showed normal results in the female fundamental test for fertility. Conventional semen analysis was evaluated according to the WHO standard normal(l980). The detailed classification of the abnormal sperm was made according to David et al(l975). The vitality of the sperm samples determined by eosin yellow-nigrosin stainig according to the method of Eliasson(l977). Results were as follw; 1. The patients had significantly lower total sperm count, motility (%), normal morphology (%), viability and total functional sperm fractions(TFSF) than fertile donors. 2. The mean value of sperm penetration distance of the patients(28.69${\pm}$11.02mm) showed significantly lower than fertile donors(37.33${\pm}$5.49mm). And 43/45 fertile donors(95.5%) as well as 57/122 patients(46.7%) had over 30mm in sperm penetration distance respectively. While 2/45 fertile donors(4.5 %) and 65/122 patient(53.3%) had under 30mm in sperm penetration distance respectively. 3. The morphological abnormalities in fertile donors were significantly lower 23.04${\pm}$5.83% (head = 12.89${\pm}$4.98, neck=6.11${\pm}$3.83%, and tail=3.43${\pm}$2.65%), compared to 36.03${\pm}$14. 40% in patients(head = 15.98 8.60%, neck 11.20${\pm}$6.56% and tail=8.70${\pm}$6.55%). Also, 3 types of sperm abnormalities including head, neck and tail were significantly lower in patient than fertile donors, respectively. Both the patients and fertile donors showed higher distribution of sperm with abnormal head than abnormal neck and tail. 4. The mean morphological abnormalities(SP>30mm) of the patients(30.68 11.64%; head = 15.95${\pm}$9.35%, neck=8.14${\pm}$4.21 %, tail=6.56${\pm}$5.64%) were significantly lower compared to patients(40.72${\pm}$15.01 %; head=16.02${\pm}$7.69%, neck 13.89${\pm}$7.82%, tail=1O.58${\pm}$6.75%) under 30mm in sperm penetration distance. Also, both groups over 30mm and under 30mm in sperm penetration showed distance higher distribution of sperm with abnormal head than abnormal neck and tail. The morphological abnormalities of head did not show significant difference but abnormal neck and tail were significant difference between the over 30mm and under 30mm group in sperm penetration distance.
