Of all Geommu(劍舞, Korean sword dance), Gisaeng-Geommu danced by gisaeng(妓生, Korean female entertainers) for private guests and at the royal court. The Sword dance in the late Joseon Dynasty used to be dynamic exuding menacing "sword spirit(劍氣)." Sword dance being transmitted today is more ritualistic and elegant. This study considers Korean sword dance has a core structure and motifs transcending generational differences, and based on this critical thinking, aims to analyze the structure of Korean sword dance. This study analyzed the prose "Geommugi(劍舞記)" by Park Je-ga(朴齊家) and the poem "Mugeompyeonjeongmiin(舞劍篇贈美人)" by Jeong Yak-yong(丁若鏞) out of literary works from the late Joseon Dynasty, and from official records of rituals(笏記), "Geomgimu(Sword Dance, 劍器舞)" and "Geommu" in "Gyobanggayo(敎坊歌謠)." In the introduction part of Sword dance, a dancer appears, bows and performs a hand dance or hansam(汗衫) dance to and fro. In the development part, a dancer meets with a sword but first hesitates to hold it and dances holding swords in both hands. The climax shows expert sword skills and combat scenes. In the conclusion part, the court dance involves a dancer bidding a formal farewell, while the dance for entertainment, a dance throws away the sword to finish. From literature materials, the structure of Korean sword dance could be divided into an introduction, a development, a climax and a conclusion. Based on this, this study analyzed sword dance movements by linking the beats accompanying the current sword dance, in the order of a Yeombul, the traditional Korean ballad Taryeong or Neujeun Taryeong, Jajin Taryeong, Taryeong and Jajin Taryeong. The introduction part includes a Buddhist prayer and the beginning of Taryeong. Dancers appear, and in two rows they dance facing each other. On the slow beat, their dances are relaxed and elegant. The development part is matched with Jajin Taryeong. Dancers sit in front of swords and grab them, and they dance holding a pair of swords. The beat gradually becomes faster, progressing the development of the dance. But then, the slower Taryeong is placed again. The reason behind it is to create a tension for a little while, before effectively reaching a climax by speeding up the tempo again. Moving on to Jajin Taryeong, dancers' movements are bigger and more dynamic. The highly elated Jajin Taryeong shows dance movements at the climax on fast, robust beats. In the conclusion part, the beat is quick-tempo and on the upbeat again on Jajin Taryeong. Driving on without a stop on the exciting Yeonpungdae(燕風臺) melody, dancers standing in a line dance wielding the swords and bow before finishing.

Objectives: Antidepressants are frequently associated with sexual dysfunction. Especially, there were few report of sexual dysfunction related with venlafaxine and mirtazapine in Korea. The purpose of this survey was to evaluate the frequency and nature of sexual dysfunction related with selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors(SSRIs), venlafaxine and mirtazapine by the use of specific questionaires. Methods: In one hundred twenty two patients, sexual dysfunction was investigated cross-sectionally by using The questionaires for sexual dysfunction, which includes questions about decreased libido, delayed orgasm or ejaculation, premature ejaculation or orgasm, absence of orgasm or ejaculation, erectile dysfunction in men/vaginal lubrication dysfunction in women, sexual pain and patient's tolerance of the sexual dysfunction. BDI was also measured. Sexual dysfunction was analyzed in association with the duration and the dose of medications and the severity of depression. Results: The incidence of sexual dysfunction during antidepressants use in our survey was 37.7%. There were no difference of incidence in sexes(p=.746). In comparison of paroxetine, venlafaxine and mirtazapine, there were no significant differences of the incidence(p=.065) and the severity of any type of sexual dysfunction. Conclusion: Although there were no significant differences of sexual dysfunction in our survey, sexual dysfunction may be closely associated with antidepressants. Further prospective study of sexual dysfunction should be needed.

우리는 사극 '태조 왕건'에서 광기 어린 신검의 모습으로 시청자들에게 깊은 인상을 남긴 배우 '이광기'를 기억한다. 한창 인기가 절정일 무렵, 아들(고(故) 이석규)을 떠나보내는 가슴 아픈 일을 겪어야만 했지만, 나눔과 봉사로 '잊는 것이 아닌 만남을 기억해가는', 이제는 국민 아빠가 된 이광기 씨다. 여기에 그치지 않고 제작년에는 늦둥이 아들 이준서 군을 얻어 진정 위대한 아빠의 모습이 무엇인지 보여주고 있다. 그런 그가 지난 3월 대한결핵협회 홍보대사로 나서며 범국민 결핵퇴치 및 결핵 인식 개선에 앞장서고 있다.

`90대한민국학생발명전시회가 지난 6월 26일 부터 7월 15일까지 20일동안 본회 발명장려관에서 성대하게 열렸다. 6월 26일 오전 11시 박필수 상공부장관, 이재근 국회상공위원장, 김철수 특허청장, 김상준 서울시 교육감, 김생기 본회회장, 박우영 조선일보사 사장, 이헌조 금성사 사장, 남상선 대한변리사회 회장 등이 개막 테이프를 끊음으로써 막이 오른 이번 전시회는 7월5일 오후 2시 시상식을 전후로 절정을 이루었다. 이번 전시회는 전국에서 5만 여명의 학생과 일반인이 관람한 것으로 밝혀졌다.

본격적인 여름 휴가철이 되었다. 대부분의 사람들은 휴가지까지 이동수단으로 자가차량을 많이 이용하며, 여름 휴가철의 절정기인 7월말에서 8월초에는 거리에 각양각색의 자동ㅊ차가 쏟아져 나온다. 특히 요즘은 가족과 함꼐 휴가를 즐기는 풍토가 자리잡고 있어, 더욱더 여름휴가를 기다릴 지도 모른다. 이렇게 기분 좋은 휴가길에는 운전자 혼자만의 안전이 아닌 가족 전체의 안전을 위해 안전 운전을 해야 할 것이다. 그러나 뜻하지 않은 사고가 발생했을 경우 우왕좌왕하기 보다는 침착하게 대처해야 억울한 일을 당하지 않을 것이다. 이번 달에는 사고 발생시 대처요령에 대해 간략하게 소개하고자 한다.

본 연구는 사일리지용 옥수수의 정확한 수확시기를 결정하기 위하여 생육일수(출사 후 일수), 유효적산은도(GDD), 유선(milk line) 및 건물률을 비교하였다. 출사 후 수확시기(황숙초기)까지의 일수는 35-42일이 소요되었으며 파종시기가 지연될수록 단축되었다. 한편 유효적산온도는 출사 후 일수와는 반대로 높았다. 옥수수의 사초 수량과 사료가치를 함께 고려한 적정 수확시기를 건물률은 30∼36%이었으며, 이 시기 내에서 농가의 사정에 따라 적정 수화시기를 결정하는 것이 좋을 것으로 여겨진다.(중략)
