  • To investigate the effects of paper sludge, by-products of paper manufactory, on the chemical properties of paddy soil and growth of paddy rice, paper sludges were applied to the pots at the rates of 300, 600, 900 and 1,200㎏/l0a which were either pread-justed C/N ratio to 30 : 1 or not adjusted. The effects were compared with those of control. Seasonal variations of various forms of soil organic nitrogen, the mineralization of organic nitrogen and the contents of soil minerals were analyzed. The results were summarized as follows: 1) The contents of soil organic nitrogen, especially amino sugar-N and amino acid-N, organic matter, CEC and available $SiO_2$ were increased by application of paper sludge compared with that of control. 2) The mineralizations of organic nitrogen after 6 weeks of incubation at $30^{\circ}C$ were 12. 2, 12.6, 15.1, 9.7 and $15.2^{\circ}C$ in the control, 300㎏/l0a sludge treatment, 300㎏/l0a sludge treatment(C/N ratio adjusted), 600㎏/l0a sludge treatment and 600㎏/l0a sludge treatment(C/N ratio adjusted), respectively. 3) Cu and Pb contents in the soil were in the range of $0{\sim}0.2100$ and $0{\sim}0.0013$ ppm, respectively. Cr and Cu in the soil were not detected at all. There were no differences in the contents of all the heavy metals among all the treatments in the soil.

  • According to my research about Janlgu(絶句) and Sijo(時調), they have not used the same methods to make the phrases (句) within of Sika(詩歌). In this thesis I shown that Ullsi(律詩) and Sijo have used a similar methods to make the phrases. However. the main assertion of this thesis is to show the fact that Sijo has changed into Kasa(歌辭) the same way Ullsi has changed into Baeull(排律). I have found that Ullsi and Baeull are different from Sijo and Kasa. Jaulgu and Sijo don't have any similarities except the use of their short sentences. Ullsi is similar to a poem with three lines in each verse. To separate the poem with three lines in each verse to three parts of the first stanza. the last stanza(結聯). and how the middle stanza contrasts (related to the phrase or stanza of poems which have a pair.). I have found out how the poem with three lines in verse is made. The middle phrase of Sijo is made up of complete opposites. I think that Sijo has the same relation. with Ullsi. Also. Kasa is made up opposites. Antithesis is a kind of way to make Ullsi by phrase and clause. I have found the antithesis in the middle phrase of Sijo. Kasa is made up antithesis and is the relativity of Ullsi and Baeull and the relativity of Sijo and Kasa are explained by antithesis. As Ullsi changed to BaeulL Sijo has changed to Kasa. They have the same method of making phrases. Some have insisted that Sijo was not from Hansi. I don't agree with that. Even if Ullsi is not from Sijo. this thesis has proven that the method of making phrases of Ullsi and the method of making phrases of Sijo are very similar. In this thesis. I have found out that Ullsi and Baeull are very similar with Sijo and Kasa. I think that these old types of Chinese poems have affected Korean Culture. So. in this thesis. I have tried to show just a little fact about this old type of Chinese poems and how it has affected Korean Culture.

  • Intrachondral articulations are the synovial joints that occur within costal cartilage in artiodactyls. The anatomical structure of Korean water deer differs from that of other deer. However, there have been no reports on the occurrence and shape of intrachondral articulations in the deer. To provide information on these articulations, we examined the occurrence and shape of intrachondral articulations in the Korean water deer by gross findings, radiography, computed tomography (CT), and histological observation. These joints often occur in the second to the tenth ribs. Morphologically, they are spheroidal joints, especially from the third to the eighth ribs, and their configuration is discernable in gross findings, radiography, CT, and histological sections. These basic results would be helpful in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the lateral thoracic wall of the Korean water deer.

  • Mi-Am Yu Hee Choon (1513~1577) considered poetry as a part of his life. Therefore, this writer specifically focused on Mi-Am Yu Hee Choon's Chinese poems. The following is the conclusion from the materials discussed in this article. Mi-Am tried to understand literature in ethical perspective. The number of Chinese poems composed by Mi-Am is estimated to be about 300, and the number of pieces that this writer could find was 285. Also, Mi-Am took poem composition seriously, and put emphasis on content more than structure. Among Go Shi, Yul Shi, and Jul gu, Jul gu (especially Chil Un) is the largest in quantity, and it is presumed that he preferred Chil(seven) Un over Oh(five) Un. With regards to Go Shi, there are relatively many Jeon-Go. With regards to Jul gu, which was a poetry composing structure that Mi-Am could make the best use of, they were mostly about the daily lives. And with regards to Yul Shi, there were many poems that expressed his feelings about the real world and self-examination. Mi-Am's poems can be categorized into ones that he wrote when he was on exile, and ones that he wrote while serving for the king again after he got released from exile. During the exile period, self-discipline through learning, friendship, and love for the people were the main themes of his poems, and after being released and started serving for the king again, his poems were mostly about loyalty to the king, interaction with acquaintances, emotions, ancestor worship, self-examination, and conjugal affection through literary communion. Among Mi-Am's poems, there are many that have Eum Song Cha Un included in their titles, and the mainstream of his poems were related to daily lives or experiences. Also, most of them naturally and calmly expressed the fact itself without exaggerating. Mi-Am considered poetry as a part of his life and the fact that he practiced literary communion with his wife by writing poems about the ordinary things happened between him and his wife, Song Duk Bong, is worthy of notice.

  • Zhang Bo-duan compiled about internal alchemy in Taoism. Although he lived in the mundane world, he wished to seek theory on neidan of Taoism(internal alchemy). After finding enlightenment, he elucidated that the enlightenment was a state of rising above world not needed to leave the world. After ages, he was admired as the founder of Taoism in Southern school and his Oh Jin Peon which contents internal alchemy was considered seriously to have more than 30 people who annotated with it until Ch'ing Empire. At his age of 80, he met the real person who gave him theory on neidan of Taoism(internal alchemy), its preface tells that he organized its main point, and then wrote Oh Jin Peon with it in 1075. Generally Zhang Bo-duan was known to leave three books as Oh Jin Peon, Guem Dan Sa Baek Ja, and Cheung Hwa Bi Mun, most of critics have been studying on the basis of them. However, it is not correct whether all of them is his writings and there is not exact analysis but simple belief about it. I think accuracy and details are indispensible in philosophical approach. The study not having verification about primary data is no more than a visionary projet which soon collapses. So the purpose of this study is adding the detail analysis on it and making its exact basis of philosophical approach. Zhang Bo-duan over his age of 80, became enlightened, in his old age handed down his student the secret as a record and theory on neidan of Taoism(internal alchemy). And not in his living but after his dying his status was soared. Because of his high status in internal alchemy Taoism, it seems that there are more interest in it and some published books which just leave his name. In this study, I accept Oh Jin Peon as a his real writing among unsure his writings and criticize systematically and classify its characteristics. And I demonstrate that Guem Dan Sa Baek Ja, Cheung Hwa Bi Mun couldn't be his real writings, these could be forgeries by posterity, with proposing some basis of the argument.

  • Leaf lettuce(Lacaug sativa L.) was cultivated in deep flow culture to investigate growth and yield in relation to different reusing method of nutrient solution after once cultivation. Five different treatments were allocated to the nutrient solutions - Control(total renewal of solution), NSS(nutrient solution supplement), U control, NSAC(nutrient solution analysis and compensation), NSAC and Humus supply(NSAC with supply of Humus). The pH of solution was kept stable below 7.0 during 4 successive culture in NSAC and NSAC and Humus supply. U was sharply declined in NSS as the number of cultivation was increased. Gmwth and yield of NSAC was similar to those of Control because nutrient elements were kept the balance to the better growth, while the lettuce grown in NSS and EC control was shown lower growth rate. In the nutrient solutions, Content of N $O_3$-N and N $H_4$-N were remarkably decreased after the cultivation in all treatments. Ca and Mg were shown to be accumulated in nutrient solution regardless of culture times and treatments. After the first culture in NSAC and Humus supply, total N and P$_2$ $O_{5}$ content in leaves were lower than any other treatments, but Ca content was higher. Those were not significant as following cultures, and no significant difference of K and Mg content were shown among the treatments.

  • It is one of the important subjects in fall crop production of potatoes in korea to find the proper direct planting method as a substitute for transplanting method by sprouting inducement at seed-bed. From this point the author has undertaken this experiments to examine the effects of several handling methods of seed tuber pieces at planting on sprouting of fall grown potatoes at Ansung Agricultural College from August to september in 1969. The results of experiments induced sprouting with Gibberellin treatment using the variety Irish Cobbler were as follows; 1. Sun light exposure treatment to cut surface of potato seed pieces resulted in rotting of seed pieces and delay of sprouting and bud growth. Exposure more than three hours induced severe rotting(more than fifty percent) of seed pieces (Table I). 2. When soil moisture are abundant and the duration of sun light. exposure is short, even direct planting method of treated seed pieces with Gibberellin resulted in good potato stands (Table 2). 3. The direct planting method, as the rotting of seed pieces are avoidable are applicable in fall crop production of potatoes us a substitute for transplanting method because the sprouting and bud growth are promoted more in case of direct planting than transplanting (Table 3). 4. When the humidity in the bottle was low no healing effects was found by holding the seed pieces in large closed bottle under the trees for three days before planting (Table 2). 5. If duration of sunlight exposure is short, no difference of potato stands between clear day planting and cloudy day plant ing (Table 3). 6. As long as soil moisture deficiency. was not induced the irrigation at planting shows no effects to protect the seed piece rotting after planting (Table 3).
