We developed the high power telephone for hearing impaired person (HIP) who can't communicate with others by general telephone. The general telephone can't delivered enough sound for HIP to understand telephone speech. In this study, we developed the method of telephone speech amplification proper to HIP and effective howling suppression which occurred as a side effect of amplification. In our new telephone, speech sound is divieded to 3 band pass filter path, amplified respectively fit to HIP's hearing ability, and monitored howling in time domain. The result of test of our telephone showed that we can amplify the sound as much as 40dB, which is very useful to HIP, and make HIP increase the perception of telephone speech.

The cooling effect of a mobile phone using PCM(Phase Change Material) module has been numerically investigated. A transient three-dimensional numerical analysis of heat and fluid flow with natural convection is performed in this study. Governing conservation equations for mass, momentum and energy are solved by an implicit finite volume method. An enthalpy-porosity technique has been used for modeling of the melting process. Two different ways of placing the PCM module are considered. One is to place a PCM module between the substrate and battery pack, and the other is to place a PCM module between MCM(multichip module) and battery pack. Three different types of PCMs are used to predict the performance of PCM. The results show that passive cooling with PCM can reduce the temperature rise and the effect of natural convection in PCM module considered in this study is negligible.

이동통신망을 이용한 위치정보서비스는 사용자에게 그의 현재 지리적 위치에 근거한 서비스를 제공하는 것이다. 이 위치는 사용자가 들고 다니는 이동 전화기에 내장된 GPS 수신기나 통신이 일어난 지역을 관할하고 있는 통신 기지국의 지리적 위치를 통해 획득할 수 있다. 통신사에 의해 획득된 위치는 사용자에게 익숙하지 않은 십진수로 표시되는 좌표 값이다. 따라서 좌표 값을 사용자에게 친숙한 주소, 빌딩 이름 등으로 변환하는 과정을 거친 후 사용자에게 제공하여야 한다. 이러한 변환 과정에 유용하게 사용되는 것이 위치 유틸리티 서비스이다. 이것은 주소를 좌표로 변환하는 Geocoding 기능과 좌표를 주소로 변환하는 Reverse Geocoding 기능으로 구성되어 있다. 각각의 기능은 OpenLS에서 발표한 표준 사양을 구현하였으며, XML을 이용한 Web Service를 제공하여 상호운용성을 향상시켰다.

Chesin-1 telephone currently used in Korea is quite similar in design to early Japanese model of Type-4 telephone which is now being replaced by Type-600 having much improved characteristics. Chesin-1 telephone has a relatively high side-tone level, since the line impedance was taken as a purely resistive component for simplicity in the design of its transmission networks. To meet a current trend of using a smaller diameter of wire for telephone line, it is necessary to improve the present type which has a limited receiving efficiency. A new telephone set has been designed to have an amplifier and a R-C coupled side-tone balancing network. The set offers 8dB gain in the overall performance of transmitting and receiving without any unbearable side-tone disturbances. The paper describes both theoretical and experimental characteristics of the new set.

최근 네트워크 고도화로 유무선 통합된 협업 서비스를 고객에게 제공한다. 서비스 제공자의 다양한 네트워크 서비스 상품이 앞으로 추가 출시될 예정이며 이에 따른 서비스 품질은 매우 중요한 이슈가 될 것이다. 특히 멀티미디어 서비스는 프리미엄 서비스로 서비스 제공자는 고객에게 서비스 품질을 보증해야만 된다. 초고속 인터넷 서비스 상품으로 인터넷 전화기, 인터넷 다운 속도 등 다양한 인터넷 서비스 품질 측정을 제공하고 있으나 전용선에 대한 인터넷 실시간 멀티미디어 서비스는 서비스 품질 측정이 초기 상태이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 서비스를 위한 서비스 품질 측정 지표, 종단간 서비스 품질 측정 방안, 고객에게 원활한 서비스를 제공하기 위한 에이전트 시스템 설계, 서비스 제공자가 이미 보유한 NMS/EMS에 에이전트 시스템 연동 방안을 제안한다.

정보통신 기술 발달과 세계에서 가장 빠른 네트워크 통신망을 자랑하는 우리나라에서 스마트폰 사용의 인구는 점점 증가하고 있으며, 사용 연령은 점점 낮아지고 있다. 스마트폰은 전화기의 통신 수단을 뛰어 넘어 교육에서도 많은 활용을 하고 있다. 국내 외적으로 구강보건교육 관련 자료 및 정보는 유투브나 블로그 등 무궁무진한 정보의 홍수에 있다. 여기서 정확하고 고등학생 대상이 직접 행동으로 할 수 있는 구강보건교육을 스마트폰 활용 을 통해서 전달하고자 한다. 그러기 위해 고등학교 여학생을 대상으로 구강보건 관련된 경험을 통해 구강보건교육 실행 계획을 실행하고자 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 스마트폰을 활용한 구강보건교육을 제시하고자 한다.

As the result of processing improvement of Telephone Dial by substituting. Synthetic Resin for metalic materials, improved characteristics of quality can be gained as follow. 1. By the improvement of structure and assembling of the Telephone Dial, the complex process of manufacture can be a simplified one, and at the same time the working process can be done in the form of assembly. 2. In the efficiency test of the Telephone Dial, the noise decreases by 5% compared with the first test. In the test of life and environment, it accords with the standard of the Ministry of Communications and its function betters. 3. By using synthetic resins instead of metalic materials the cost can be reduced by \340 than the first improvement and it also brings the heightend value.

In this paper a new network configuration for two-line four-line connection in telephone transmission system is proposed. It is proved that this network configuration is useful not only in an anti-sidatone circuit for telephone substation but also in a repeater station in the telephone system. It can ba realized in an integrated circuit.

제품 개발 환경을 자세히 들여다보면, 고객의 요구 또는 창조된 새로운 제품의 컨셉(Spec)을 사람(개발자)이 도구(설계경험, CAD)를 이용해서 업무수행절차(업무처리규정, 부서별 역할)에 따라 제품을 정의(모양, 크기, 구조)하는 것을 설계행위로 볼 수 있고, 이러한 활동의 결과로써 도면 Mock-up, 각종 Document가 만들어지고 이러한 매체가 부서간, 업무공정간 의사소통의 수단으로 이용되고 있다. 여기서 CAD를 없애서는 안될 개발의 도구로 인식하고 이용하는데, 일반적으로 경쟁력있는 제품을 개발하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 3차원 CAD시스템을 도입하여 적용해 오고 있다. 현재의 3차원 CAD시스템들은 공통적으로 솔리드(Solid) 근간에, FEATURE 개념을 수용하면서 PARAMETRIC 또는 VARIATIONAL 모델링 기법을 채택하여 설계자들에게 다양한 기능을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 3차원 CAD 시스템을 적용하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻어내기란 간단한 문제가 아니다. 본 고에서는 당 사업장에서 개발한 무선전화기 및 FAX에 3차원 설계를 적용한 사례를 중심으로, 3차원 설계에 대한 허와 실을 살펴보고 3차원 설계가 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 생각해 보고자 한다. 참고로 당 사업장은 디자인, 기구설계, 금형설계까지는 I-DEAS, CAM 작업은 CATIA를 이용하고 있다.

공공기관에서 VoIP 서비스를 적용한 멀티미디어 서비스 제공을 채택하면서 신호 프로토콜로서 SIP, H.323, MGCP 또는 megaco/H.248 등을 사용하고 차세대 인터넷인 IPv6 채택으로 기존 IPv4와 IPv6 연동 등 상호운용에 문제가 있이 이를 해결하기 위하여 2005년 VoIPv6 참조모델을 제정하고 이를 공공기관에서 사용하도록 권고하였다. 이 참조모델은 인터넷 전화 중심의 인터넷 서비스였으며 이번 VoIPv6 참조모델 개정안은 새로운 응용 서비스 추가와 기존 모델에서 점검하지 못한 사항 등을 보완하였다. 본 원고에서는 VoIPv6 개정모델에서 포함하고 있는 영상전화 서비스 제공방안, 보안 정도에 따라 무선 IP 전화기 활용방안, 영상방송, 영상감시 등을 소개하고 있다. 본 원고에서 권고하는 참조모델은 향후 공공기관에서 VoIPv6 기반의 통신서비스 구축에 참조모델로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.
