Development of Equipment and Characteristic Evaluation of Power Supply in Electrolytic In-Process Dressing(EL1D) Grinding (전해 인프로세스 드레싱 연삭에서의 전원 특성평가 및 장치 개발)

  • Electrolytic In-Process Dressing grinding technique which enables application of metal bond wheels with fine superabrasives in mirror surface grinding operations has developed. This paper provides charateristic evaluation of power supply supply that we developed and general charateristics of ELID grinding. The electric behaviors are compared each about two different electrode which has 1/4, 1/6 the area of entire wheel surface, and two different fluids which has 1:50, 1:30 the quantity of water was used to dillute grinding fluids. The results show that ELID grinding method is useful for mirror surface machining.

  • 컨덴서식 저항 용접기는 용접에 필요한 에너지를 전해컨덴서에 축척 시킨 후 이것을 순시에 용접변압기로 방전하여 큰 용접전류를 흘리게 된다. 아날로그 제어방식에 의한 기존 컨덴서 용접 시스템은 용접 세팅이 어려웠으며, 시스템의 소손 가능성이 높았고, 크기면에서도 비대해질 우려가 있었다. 이에 비해 디지털제어방식의 중앙집중식 자동화시스템은 사용자가 세팅을 쉽게 할 수 있으며, 전원을 제어함에 따라서 전력소비를 최소화 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 마이크로프로세서를 이용한 디지털제어방식의 중앙 집중식 컨덴서식 저항용접 시스템을 제안한다.

  • Micro punching is one of general methods to fabricate simple holes such as permanent ink-jet printer nozzles. A thin punch, that is need for micro punching, usually has been obtained by mechanical machining. There are some method to obtain a thin punch from a cylindrical rod, e.g., microgrinding and WEDG (Wire Electro-Discharge Grinding). Inefficiently, only one punch can be obtained from these machining methods. In contrast with these methods, many punches can be fabricated simultaneously by electrochemical process. Electrochemical process has usually aimed to obtain very sharp probe for atomic force microscopy (AFM) or scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), and it has not been considered the whole shape of a probe in spite of good merits. In this paper, an ultrathin punch with a tapered shape and a cylindrical tip is newly fabricated by electrochemical process.

  • The recent growth of cable broadcast technology such as Tru2Way enables the cable service operator to provide more enhanced experiences to cable TV audience. As a result, various applications have been produced and user can easily access cable network to receive multimedia content as well as interactive application in cable environment. In order for current cable technology to be accepted as a web extended technology, a process of web based applications having a web document and multimedia resources, proper web service definition and middleware architecture for existing cable environment should be established. In this paper, we define a web application for cable environment and propose a middIeware architecture which can process web application based on Tru2Way technology
