  • 최근 들어 급속한 전파 이용 기술의 발전과 인터넷, PC 보급률의 증가 등의 요인으로 인하여 전파이용량이 증가되는 등 전파의 수요가 급증하고 있으며 이로인한 인접국가간의 전파간섭사례가 증가하고 있다. 이에 대하여 이 연구에서는 우리나라의 국제전파감시체제를 분석하여 3가지의 개선방안을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the radio interference between Bluetooth and Wireless LAN/video transmitter in the 2.4GHz band with Monte-Carlo Method. The simulation results show that it is necessary to limit under 10mW of the Bluetooth power to avoid the harmful interference between Bluetooth and Wireless LAN/video transmitter.

  • SKA(Square Kilometre Array)는 수많은 전파망원경으로 이루어진 간섭계로, 그 총 유효 단면적이 약 1평방킬로미터이기 때문에, SKA라는 이름이 붙었다. 2024년 가동 예정인 SKA는, 감도(sensitivity)는 현존하는 가장 좋은 전파간섭계보다 50배, 하늘 서베이 속도는 약 만 배 빠를 것으로 예상된다. SKA는 파장 대역 별로 세 가지 서로 다른 전파 간섭계 (Sparse Aperture Array, Dense Aperture Array, and Dish Array)를 설치할 예정이다. 본 발표에서는 최근 SKA 개념 설계, SKA를 위한 조직 변화, 그리고 한국 참여 현황을 소개하겠다.

  • 상시 이용가능한 전천후, 범세계적인 정확한 항법을 개발하는 것이 항해자들의 숙원이었다. 이제 시스템의 보완의 문제가 국제적인 규모에 초점이 맞추어 진다면 현시점의 기술로도 이 숙원이 앞으로 10년 내에 이루어 질 가능성이 엿보인다. 범세계적인 전파항법은 그 정의상 수신지점이 아무리 멀리 떨어지고 고립되어 있다 하더라도 육·해·공 어디서나 아무런 전파간섭 없이 수신될 수 있는 것이어야 한다. 범세계적인 항법방식을 채택하는 데 있어서 중요하게 고려되는 사항은 간섭이 없는 주파수 스펙트럼의 이용과 전파항법의 송신사양의 발천이다. 국가안보를 위한 항해와 민간의 목적을 위한 항해 사이의 갈등과 국가간의 요구의 상이는 국가적 결정과 국제적 협력을 위한 의미있는 도전을 나타낸다. 송신국이 육지에 있는 장거리항법방식 2가지, 즉 Loran-C와 Omega는 현재 시행되고 있으며, 인공위성항법방식이 앞으로 실현될 가능성이 있는데, 지금이 바로 행동을 취할 때라고 제안한다. 본 논문은 Loran-C와 Omega 방식의 기술사양서 발행의 절실한 필요성과 이러한 범세계적인 전파항법의 송신에 요구되는 주파수, 스펙트럼의 정의의 필요성을 기술한다. 그리고 국제 전기통신협회의 후원하에 1979년 Genova에서 열린 World Administrative Radio Conference에 앞서서 주의를 요하는 특별한 기술적인 분야에 대해서 기술한다.

  • In this paper, we have estimated by means of the theoretical analysis and the simulation of FCA(Fixed Channel Assignment) and CB(Channel Borrowing) in order to consider the CB as a technique to meet ducting interference from adjacent countries. Also, we assumed that the receiving power level of ducting interference with time rate can be characterized by the normal distribution due to the previous measured results, and the ducting interferences which are exceeding the reference power level can be regarded as calls. These calls can be processed by CR assignment and by which sharing channels between cells brings to us the method of meeting the ducting interference to use spectrum resources effectively. However, the spectrum frequency reusing and the interference effects between channels should be considered in CB simulation in the future.

  • Recent wireless communications using the unlicensed band have been on the rise and the range of use is increasing. The license-exempted band is a prerequisite for accepting interference between telecommunication equipment. In particular, the interference phenomenon of Bluetooth, wireless LAN, and RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) using the 2.4 GHz band is getting serious. In such urban areas, the wireless transmission medium may be in a bad state. There are roughly two ways to make effective transmission in this environment. The first is the IEEE 802.11 RTS / CTS method and the second is the frame fragmentation method. In this paper, it is difficult to transmit a frame over a certain size in a jamming environment due to the interference of the wireless environment. In this environment, we implement a frame division transmission scheme that guarantees effective transmission and reliability by dividing a frame into smaller units in order to perform reliability transmission and efficient transmission.

  • Currently, SEAMCAT has been widely used as a tool to evaluate the effects of interference among a variety of wireless communication systems. This supports various channel propagation models, all of which are based on some statistical models for the channel propagation and do not exploit any specific terrain characteristics. Thus it is not appropriate for assessing the effects of interference between wireless systems, given some specific terrain features. In order to overcome this limit in its use, it is necessary to extend the capability of SEAMCAT to support a channel propagation model which takes into account terrain informations. The ITU-R P.526 is a familiar channel propagation model which calculates the path loss considering the terrain features. In this paper, we present an enhanced version of SEAMCAT which supports the ITU-R P.526 and provide a few examples of interference evaluation using it.
