A Study on Image Preferences of Fashion Product According to Life-Style Groups -Focused on Middle-Aged Women between 35 and 59 Years Old- (라이프스타일 유형에 따른 패션 제품의 이미지 선호도(제 1보) -35$\sim$59세 중년 여성을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate fashion product image evaluation according to life-style groups of middle-aged women. The subject of investigation was 352 middle-aged women from 35 to 59 living in Daegu by random sampling method in April and May, 2005. The investigation was carried out by questionnaires which were composed of 3 sections: Fashion product image measure, Life style research and demographic variables(age, academic background, occupation, monthly clothing allowance, monthly income). The statistical methods to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, average, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. The results are summarized as follows: 1. As a result of factor analysis for fashion product image, the four factors including noble image, bold image, practical image, female image were extracted. 2. Middle-aged women were classified into four life-style groups including tradition oriented group, negative oriented group, activity oriented group and appearance oriented group. 3. Significant differences in fashion product image preferences according to life-style groups were found. Tradition oriented group preferred noble image and practical image. Negative oriented group tended to pursue practical image. Activity oriented group pursued a bold image. Appearance oriented group liked a noble image the best and then noble image, bold image in order.

  • Biometric information computing is greatly influencing both a computing system and Big-data system based on the bio-information system that combines bio-signal sensors and bio-information processing. Unlike conventional data formats such as text, images, and videos, biometric information is represented by text-based values that give meaning to a bio-signal, important event moments are stored in an image format, a complex data format such as a video format is constructed for data prediction and analysis through time series analysis. Such a complex data structure may be separately requested by text, image, video format depending on characteristics of data required by individual biometric information application services, or may request complex data formats simultaneously depending on the situation. Since previous bio-information processing computing systems depend on conventional computing component, computing structure, and data processing method, they have many inefficiencies in terms of data processing performance, transmission capability, storage efficiency, and system safety. In this study, we propose an improved biosensing converged big data computing architecture to build a platform that supports biometric information processing computing effectively. The proposed architecture effectively supports data storage and transmission efficiency, computing performance, and system stability. And, it can lay the foundation for system implementation and biometric information service optimization optimized for future biometric information computing.

  • Because of the unique images of monsters and people curious about the unknown things in the game, gamers escape from ordinary life to explore a whole new world of games in the virtual space.   • This study attempted to explore what is the image that preliminary teachers seek in Home Economics. The purpose of this study was to find the images that make people thought based on the Q methodology. Q methodology is a way to understand a person's structure of subjectivity. This study applied Q methodology to clarifying preliminary teachers' subjective evaluation of the image of Home Economics. 33 Q questions were prepared through literature review, and were offered to 60 preliminary teachers. The subjects were divided into the five types seeking different image with Home Economics: adjustment for society, neglection by prejudice, education for basic element of life, focused on home life, personal mature.

  • Attitudes about the ideal body are influenced by media, including fashion magazine advertisements. The purpose of our study was to analyze the ideal body image for males and females in contemporary society. We analyzed the contemporary ideal gender image through the examination of physical characteristics(body type, age), and fashion styles(hair, make up, supplements, clothing styles, body exposure) in fashion advertisements published in Gentlemen's Quarterly(GQ) and Vogue issued during 2002. The results indicate some blurring in masculinity and femininity resulting in gender neutralization and naturalness pursuing natural appearances. But, some previous beauty norms related to masculinity and femininity remained.

  • We have lost our true characteristics without being grown and development of our traditional beauty in state of drawing into a whirlpool as the environment of western cultrue. So, to be existed for self-sown capability of our traditional culture, we'll have to keep up with the unique and creative Korean traditional furniture design through the synchloization between 'Traditionalism in our already westernized life' and 'Korean identity in our already westernized life' and 'Korean identity in worldwide culture' based on independent position by correct view of worth, as for the escape from attitude of receive on western culture in recklessnese. Hereupon, first of all, after reviewof fornuclation backround and characteristics in traditional furniture to be established by an ancestor, based on this and extract the conceptual language, it was presented past published works as for the approaching method toward physical form aspect by use of pattern of modern access method. Secondly, it was the symbolic approaching from method based on traditional and cultural context. Gradually, the embodiment of traditional image, in today's features of our furniture loosing the particular cultural identify is very important aspect, and beside above mentioned two methods, it should be investigated as for the diversified approaching study. Thereafter, we'll have to establish the positionof our modern furniture in global wordwide, for seek the beauty being interrelated form past historical communications, under the circumstance of original and future-oriented value.

  • This paper accomplishes the following points: First, the costume style held by women in the Silla dynasty are examined. Second, a new fashion concept is drawn from Silla's costume images with lessons from analyzing how major brands from China and Japan have adopted their own traditional images. Third, a Korean fashion concept is crafted to reflect important modern fashion design factors. The conclusions of this study are: The concept of Korean fashion using Silla costume image based on the 2015 S/S trend was developed and suggested as: 'Harmony of Contrast', new beauty created by mutually contrasting things; 'Timeless' transcending time-space flowing from the past, present, to future; 'Empathy' where past and present are harmonized; 'Modern with Antique' expressing a new style modernism where the old retains value. The efforts to express identity via conceptualization of Korean fashion are an effective strategy that satisfies the goals of setting Korea's fashion design apart from others and spreading Korean culture.

  • 본 연구는 한글 캘리그라피에서 보여지는 문자 형태의 감정적 표현, 문자 의미의 형상적 표현, 한자체와의 이미지 혼합의 표현등으로 분류하여 심미성과 차별성 있는 디자인 가치를 연구하고자한 것이다. 한글의 예술적 독창성과 한글 캘리그라피의 문화적 실용성이 결합된 창의적 생성물을 만드는 것은 중요하다. 따라서 한국의 전통글씨를 현대적으로 재해석한 실용과 미감이 풍부한 서체를 분석하고 문화원형의 대표성을 확인하고자 한다.

  • The historic cultural landscape of East lake in Kyung river area during Joseon dynasty was very outstanding that it had many attractions of scenic beauty, however, the Han river of today is being recognized as a natural landscape and as a place with low cultural and historical traits. This study applied landscape characteristics of the cultural space of Joseon Dynasty on visual image elements of Lynch to research the landscape characteristics. The research results are as follows. When East lake was applied to visual image elements, it was recognized as a 'superb' 'paths,' and the 'edge' which signifies the boundary showed its 'superb' clarity of the East lake. For the 'node,' a turning point of direction, Dumopo represented the 'superb' awareness. As East lake, Apgujung, and Jecheonjung represented the 'superb' awareness when 'landmark' among visual image elements of Lynch was applied to the cultural space, the awareness level and reputation were proportional to the visual image elements. When pattern, structure, and meaning of the cultural space were clear and had definite identity, the 'landmark' and 'district' elements were 'superb.' It was also identified that when awareness level of space was higher, the awareness of historic cultural landscape was high as well. Therefore, considering visual awareness level of the historic cultural landscape of Han river during restoration to investigate and to conduct case studies is considered to increase the awareness level of historicity and cultural character as well as restoration of the place.

  • 회화적 렌더링의 궁극적 목적은 입력된 이미지를 가지고 손으로 그린듯한 느낌을 표현하는 것이다. 이러한 회화적 느낌을 표현하기 위한 요소에는 브러시의 위치 방향, 그리고 사이즈 등이 있다. 본 논문에서는 다음 그려질 위치가 정적 격자단위로 정해지는 것이 아닌 동적인 격자를 사용하여 결정되었다. 이때 브러시의 방향을 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 영상의 방향 보간을 하였다. 그리고 입력 영상과 캔버스의 최대 차이점에서 에지와의 거리를 고려하여 동적인 브러시의 사이즈를 표현하였다. 그리고 텍스처를 가진 다양한 브러시를 사용하여 질감을 효과적으로 표현하였다. 위의 과정들을 통하여 전통적인 오일 페인팅(oil painting)의 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.
