A Study of Analysis Method for the Track geometry measuring data on High Speed Railway (고속철도 궤도검측자료 분석기법에 관한 연구)

  • Measuring the track geometry of a high-speed railway is the most important task in track construction and track maintenance work. Measuring accuracy is particularly sign the formulation of the maintenance plan and in the assessment of the work quality, and because it can set the train speed limit. To determine the track geometry of a high-speed railway, it is important to use KNR's track recording coach (EM-120). According to the result of the spectrum analysis, noise near the 1-m wave band was found on the track recording data. A new filter was thus applied to remove the noise from the track recording data. A similar result can be acquired when this method is used in real track geometry.

Effect of Shade on All Ceramic Restoration based Zirconia according to Cooling rate on Firing (도재소성 시 냉각속도가 전부도재관의 색조에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluation the effect of shade on all ceramic restoration based zirconia according to cooling rate on Firing. Methods: 10 specimens applied to the dentin porcelain were made on the zirconia. After 5 specimens of the first group were burned in the furnace, these were put out rapidly. And after 5 specimens of the second group were burned in the furnace, these were put out slowly later 15 min. All specimens were measured $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ using spectrophotometer, there were calculated 10 mean(SD) of descriptive statistics with SPSS program. These data were used for ${\Delta}E^*$ with color difference equation. Independent t tests were performed between 2 groups. Results: $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ of 2 groups was statistically significant respectively (p<0.001), ${\Delta}E^*$ was 4.55 value. Conclusion: This study showed effect of shade on all ceramic restoration based zirconia according to cooling rate on Firing.

  • The servo motor is used for the driving power source of the conventional linear conveyor system. The mechanical power transfer system is needed for converting the circular to the linear operation. But this system causes some problems of position error, the necessity of the periodical maintenance. In this paper the study on application of transverse flux linear motor(TFLM) is carried out for the indexer system of LCD processing because TFLM has much thrust per a volume than the conventional motor. TFLM is suitable system for the indexer system because of capacity of acceleration, maximum speed and precision of the position, etc.

Time Domain Analysis of Ship Motion in Waves Using Finite Element Method (유한요소법을 이용한 파랑 중 선박운동의 시간영역 해석기법 개발)

  • The three-dimensional ship motion with forward speed was solved by a finite element method in the time domain. A boundary value problem was described in the frame of a fixed-body reference, and the problem was formulated according to Double-Body and Neumann-Kelvin linearizations. Laplace's equation with boundary conditions was solved by a classical finite element method based on the weak formulation. Chebyshev filtering was used to get rid of an unwanted saw-tooth wave and a wave damping zone was adopted to impose a numerical radiation condition. The time marching of the free surface was performed by the 4th order Adams-Bashforth-Moulton method. Wigley I and Wigely III models were considered for numerical validation. The hydrodynamic coefficients and wave exciting forces were validated by a comparison with experimental data and the numerical results of the Wigley I. The effects of the linearization are also discussed. The motion RAO was also checked with a Wigley III model through mono-chromatic and multi-chromatic regular waves.

  • A finite difference method based on MAC method is used to simulate free-surface waves around a ship. Euler equations and continuity equation are differentiated using the forward time and central space, and solved by time marching scheme. By the employment of variable mesh system in horizontal and vertical direction, the numerical accuracy of wave simulation results is grossly improved. To verify the improvement of numerical accuracy, some numerical simulations are accomplished for Wigley, Series 60($C_{b}$=0.6) and a bulk carrier model. The computational results are compared to the various experimental data and show good agreements.

  • 헬리콥터, 팬, 프로펠러, 터이빈같이 회전익에서 유체역학적 소음이 발생하는 장치의 설계에 있어서는 공기 역학적 성능 분석과 함께 소음에 대한 해석이 절대적으로 필요하다. 근래에 들어와서 소음에 대한 관심이 급격히 증가하고 공항 주변에서의 국제적인 규약들은 낮은 소음 수준(low noise level)을 규정하고 있으며, 이에 따라서 소음을 감소시키려는 연구가 매우 활발히 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 더욱이 컴퓨터의 냉각 팬을 비롯한 공조기기 및 산업기기에 사용되는 회전기계에서 발생되는 소음의 저감은 보다 더 쾌적한 환경을 요구하는 사회적 요구에 부합하면서 공력소음의 연구 분야가 더 넓어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소음예측 방법중의 하나인 음향상사(acoustic analogy)를 주파수 영역 방법(frequency domain method)을 이용하여 헬리콥터 블레이드의 고속 충격소음(High Speed Impulsive Noise)을 해석한다. 고속 충격소음은 블레이드-와류 상호작용 소음과 더불어 헬리콥터의 지배적인 소음원으로서 깃끝 속도가 큰 전진 수평비행(forward level flight)또는 제자리 비행(hovering flight)시 발생하는 소음으로 블레이드의 깃끝 마하수(critical Mach number)보다 크거나 비슷할 경우 충격파의 교란에 의해서 일어나는 충격적인 소음을 말한다. 고속 충격소음은 고주파수 스펙트럼 성분과 큰 소음강도를 가지고 있기 때문에 날카로운 금속성의 소리를 내며 먼 거리까지 전파되는 특징을 가지고 있다.

Numerical Analysis on the Wave Resistance by the Theory of Slender Ships (세장선 이론에 의한 조파저항의 수치 해석)

  • The accurate prediction of the ship wave resistance is very important to design ships which operate satisfactorily in a wave environment. Thus, work should continue on development and validation of methods to compute ship wave patterns and wave resistance. Research efforts to improve the prediction of ship waves and wavemaking resistance are categorized in two major areas. First is the development of higher-order theories to take account of the nonlinear effect of the free surface condition and improved analytical treatment of the body boundary condition. Second is the development of direct numerical methods aimed at solving body and free-surface boundary conditions as accurately as possible. A new formulation of the slender body theory for a ship with constant speed is developed by Maruo. It is quite different from the existing slender ship theory by Vossers, Maruo and Tuck. It may be regarded as a substitute for the Neumann-Kelvin approximation. In present work, the method of asymptotic expansion of the Kelvin source is applied to obtain a new wave resistance formulation in fluid of finite depth. It takes a simple form than existing theory.

  • 본 논문은 진공을 이용한 흡착방식과 바퀴형 이동방식을 이용하고 환경 탐지용 센서를 부착한 벽면 이동형 로봇의 물리적 해석을 통한 이동 성능 개선에 관한 연구로서, 대형 구조물의 안전 검사 및 위험한 시설물의 보수 작업등을 보조하기 위한 목적이 있다. 로봇의 무게에 따른 중력을 견딜 수 있는 강력한 진공흡착방식과 고성능 모터 제어에 의한 바퀴 이동방식을 혼합하고 효율적으로 평형을 유지 또는 제어하기 위하여 로봇에 미치는 다양한 힘과 모멘트를 분석하고 수식화 하였으며 기존의 수직이동 속도를 개선하기 위한 로봇의 물리적 변수를 추출하여 변수와 이동력간의 관계를 고찰하였다.

Comparison of Runoff Hydrographs based on the Moving Rainstorms (이동강우로 인한 유출수문곡선의 비교)

  • Using kinematic wave equation, the influence of moving rainstorms to runoff was analysised with a focus on watershed shapes and rainfall distribution types. Watershed shapes used are the oblong, square and elongated shape, and the distribution types of moving storms used are uniform, advanced and intermediate type. The runoff hydrographs according to the rainfall distribution types were simulated and the characteristics were explored for the storms moving down, up and cross the watershed with various velocity. And the hydrographs were compared in the case of varing the rainstorm intensity and varing the rainstorm length in order to make the same total runoff volume. When the rainstorm intensity was varied the shape, peak time and peak runoff of a runoff hydrograph are significantly influenced by spatial and temporal variability in rainfall and watershed shapes. The peak time of down and upstream moving strorms appeared latest in the case of the elongated shape basin, meanwhile at cross stream moving storms, the peak time of elongated shape basin is earlier than the others. For storms moving downstream peak time was more delayed than for other storm direction in the case of elongated watershed. The runoff volume and time base of the hydrograph decreased with the increasing storm speed.

  • Doppler log and current meter are based on the measurment of the doppler effect. Ship's speed over the ground measured by means of doppler log effect of underwater ultrasonic intends to get infulence by the difference of sound velocity, the ship's course, the sea bottom inclination, the trim and tranducer installation etc. This paper investigated on the error of speed over the ground by change of the trim comparing the real speed obtained by the mile post with the speed of single beam type doppler log on the trainning ship Kyeongyangho. The results are as follows ; 1. Indicating speed of doppler log is very much greatly influenced on variation of trim, but the real speed is less affected variation by trim. 2. The range of variation and error of speed over ground are smallest when ship's trim is 2.15m trim by the stern.
