복사성 잡음원의 좌표탐지

  • 실내 및 근거리에서 이용될 수 있는 무선통신의 보호를 위해, 주변 전자파환경의 상황을 일반적인 CISPR 측정 시스템을 이용하여 복사성 잡음원의 위치와 진폭을 탐지하는 방법과 알고리즘을 소개하고, 여기서 탐지된 잡음원의 위치와 진폭에 대한 탐지 정밀도에 대해 분석함으로써 보다 신뢰성 있는 EMC 설계에 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • A generalized expression of radiation intensity from multiple non linear transmission lines is derived from the circuit model of radiation phenomena and the phased array antenna theory, for PC traces having independent signal sources. An adequacy of this proposed analitical method was verified comparing with computer simulation and experimental result for two and three non linear transmission lines feeded by 600 MHz signal.

  • Theoretical radiation patterns for the corrugated horn antenna are analyzed by vector integral method and quasi-optics. The formular of the radiated fields for the corrugated horn antenna can be obtained by the potentials derived the equivalent current sources from hybrid fields at horn aperture and also calculated by the expanded mode set of Gaussian - Laguerre based on the quasi - optics. From comparison of the radiation patterns between two methods for a corrugated horn antenna designed on 85-115 GHz frequency range, the results are coincided well at center frequency but have some errors at each side frequencies 85 and 115 GHz.

  • It is an analysis about electromagnetic wave which is generated from a Spark plug cable of Distributorless spark ignition system. In case of Distributorless spark ignition system, high frequency generation is an ignition coil and Spark plug cable and Spark plug could be activated with electromagnetic wave radiation antenna. I calculated a resonant frequency with HFSS by measuring length of Spark plug cable and Spark plug. The antenna was considered as ${\lambda}/4$ monopole antenna in this calculation. According to power spectrum measurement analysis of engine room radiated electromagnetic wave and calculated Resonant frequency, it is possible to find out that the Distributorless spark ignition system radiates high frequency energy in certain frequency band.

  • 본 논문에서는 S밴드(2-4 GHz)와 C밴드(4-8 GHz)에서 사용가능한 비동심원 복사구조와 저임피던스 급전구조를 갖는 광대역 원형 링슬롯 안테나를 제안하였다. 본 안테나는 유전율 4.3, 두께 1mm의 기판을 대상으로 해석되었다. 재안된 안테나의 계산된 임피던스 대역폭은 122%(S$_{11}$$\leq$-10 dB)이므로 기존의 원형 링슬롯 안테나보다 훨씬 광대역이다. 또한 주요 설계변수들을 변화시켰을 때 변경되는 안테나의 특성을 연구함으로써 최적화설계에 도움이 되도록 하였다.

  • 본 고는 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 어린이의 휴대전화 사용에 대해, 휴대전화기에서 복사되는 전자파 에너지가 성인과 달리 작용할 가능성이 있는지에 관한 연구 또는 보고 자료를 수집하여 다양한 각도에서 조사한 것이다. 공학적 관점에서 휴대전화 사용에 있어 어린이와 성인의 전자파 흡수율에 차이를 가져올 수 있는가에 관한 연구 결과를 기술하고 있으며, 각각 형태적 측면에서 성인과 어린이를 나타내는 각기 다른 크기의 머리 형태에서 전자파 흡수율의 차이가 있는지와 생체의 재료(재질) 측면에서 연령층에 따라 조직의 전기적 특성에 변화를 알아보았다. 그 다음 휴대전화기에 가장 가까이 위치하는 인체 머리의 성장과정 상의 변화를 살펴봄으로써 생물학적 측면에서 어린이가 성인에 비해 취약할 가능성이 있는지 검토하였다 그러나 이러한 가능성을 현재로서는 명확히 판단하기 어려우며, 원인 규명을 위한 추가 연구 및 다양한 연구 분야간 협력이 요구됨을 알 수 있었다.

A Study on the Radiating Source of Electro-magnetic Waves in the Cabin of Automobile (자동차 실내의 전자파 복사원에 관한 연구)

  • This paper investigates the radiating source of electro-magnetic waves in the cabin of automobile with spark ignition engine. Front seats are very close to the engine room where electro-magnetic waves are expected to be radiating. But front seat area is believed to be a blind zone, which is not affected by radiating electro-magnetic waves, because a bulk board and floor board shield the front seat area. The level and frequency spectrum of electro-magnetic waves are measured at the passenger seat and the engine room. The measured frequency range is $145{\sim}365MHz$. As a results, the level of the electro-magnetic waves of automatic transmission vehicle is greater than -82dBm. The shapes of frequency spectrum of both engine room and passenger seat are look alike. But the level of electro-magnetic waves of manual transmission vehicle is less than -82dBm and the shapes of frequency spectrum of engine room and passenger seat are different to each other. From these results, we can say that any mal-function caused by electro-magnetic waves in the automobile cabin are only possible for automatic transmission vehicle. Also, it is believed that the radiating source of electro-magnetic waves is inside the vehicle. Thus, based on the transmission line theory, this paper presumably concludes that the cables which connect all the components inside a automatic transmission vehicle must be a radiating source of electro-magnetic waves in the cabin.

Design for Linearly Polarized Microstrip Antenna using Electromagnetic-Coupled Dipoles (전자기결합 다이폴을 이용한 직선편파 마이크로스트립 안테나의 설계)

  • This paper describes a design for linear polarization antenna using the EMCD (electromagnetically coupled dipole). The analysis and the design of model antennas are conducted by FDTD method. Vertical and horizontal linear polarizations are easily obtained by variation of dipole position. In 1-element antenna design, mutual coupling between microstrip feed line and radiator is considered. Design parameters of each 1-element antenna with vertical and horizontal polarization are used for array design. Radiation power and main beam tilting angle can be controlled by the offset and the distance between radiating elements in an array, respectively. 5-element array antennas are fabricated and measured to prove the design validity. The results of FDTD simulation and measurement show the reasonable agreement.

  • In this paper, we propose a new antenna design method for RFID tass on metallic surfaces using a low-cost, high-loss substrate such as FR4. The proposed design method highly reduces the substrate loss due to its dielectric loss, and so improves the radiation efficiency of the tag antenna more than double compared with a conventional PIFA(planar inverted-F antenna). The equivalent circuit model of the antenna according to the proposed method was established and its characteristics were analyzed systematically in this paper. The excellency of the proposed design method was verified by the fabrication and measurement of a prototype antenna.
