The purposes of this study are to compare and analyze the evaluation indicators for selection of journal suggested by scholars and organizations and to prepare theoretical background for the ideal model to meet opposing paradigms of collection management in academic libraries. A web survey method was employed to investigate applications of various selection criteria (27 for printed and 37 for electronic academic Journal) from the top 40 academic libraries in Korea. In addition, data were analysed statistically using factor analysis, t-test, Analysis of Variance(ANOVA), and Spearman's Rank Oder Correlation. The mean ranking for 9 evaluation indicators for printed were as follows: subscribing volumes per departments, degree of use, selection authority, electronic/print bundle, ISI impact factor, Internationality and reputation, costs for subscription, ILL ＆ DDS, space considerations for printed materials. But, 11 evaluation indicators for electronic were as follows : costs for subscription, accessibility, electronic/print bundle, consortia, selection authority, access expandability, subscribing volumes per departments, scholarly features of the university, ISI impact factor, ILL ＆ DDS, internationality and reputations.

2007년에는 인터넷의 광고비가 잡지의 광고비를 추월했다. 이런 현상은 전자미디어의 활용이 지속적으로 확대되고 있으며 다매체 미디어 시대로 전환되고 있다는 것을 뜻한다. 그런 가운데 인쇄의 유효성은 다시 각광 받고 있다. 다른 미디어가 할 수 없는 오감에 호소하는 특수한 인쇄 및 가공을 활용함으로써 부가가치를 창출하는데 유용하다는 인식이 확산되고 있는 것이다. 최근 들어 관심을 끌고 있는 제품과 기법을 소개한다.

미국약품의 해설은 이미 Pamphlet, 혹은 의학잡지등에 소개되여서 이에 사족을 부칠 필요가 없으나 전자의 기재가 주로 의사를 대상으로 하여 사용법에 치중한 감이 있으므로 이번에는 각도를 달리하여 약제사의 입장에서 본 물리학적 화학적 상수를 주로한 해설을 하여보았다. 특히 Sulfonamide 제는 요즈음 위조품이 횡행하므로 감정법도 기재하였다. 그러나 워낙 둔재이고 천학비식한 자가 한일이라 두찬과 오류가 허다 할 것이다. 널리 양해하기를 바라는 바이다.

첨단기술과 접목된 각종 뉴 미디어(New media)기기들이 속속 등장하면서 우리의 생활모습이 크게 달라지고 있다. 뉴 미디어의 발달은 음성(라디오), 글자(신문ㆍ잡지), 화상(TV)등 정보를 하나로 묶어(조합) 이들의 경계영역을 허물고 있을 뿐 아니라 쌍방향 정보전달체계가 갖춰짐으로써 전자책(CD-ROM)과 주문형 비디오(VDO)의 출현에서 집안에서 장보기ㆍ전자신문ㆍ화상회의 등 새로운 시대를 열어놓고 있다. 21세기 정보화사회의 주역이 될 뉴 미디어의 정체와 발전 현황, 그리고 이들이 가져다 줄 사회 등을 특집으로 엮어 보았다.

문맥/상황 또는 사용자의 개방/공유/참여에 따라 연관된 내용 또는 전체 내용이 복합적으로 변화하고 다양한 이질적인 데이터가 결합된 동적 적응형 콘텐츠를 출판하기 위해서는 시맨틱 매쉬업 기술이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 신문/잡지의 뉴스 콘텐츠를 링크드 데이터로 변환해서, 시맨틱 기술을 활용해 출판할 수 있는 전자출판 시스템을 제안한다.

In general, researchers submit their research products to scholarly journals in order to be recognized by their colleagues, and, as a result, those are accumulated in their belonged teamed societies. However, it is a fact that the majority of teamed societies have been ignored digitized information new even though they could acquire original word files. Information flow process needs to be systematized based on digital for the research products. The purpose of this study u to develop electronic Journal generation system for scholarly journals issued at learned societies in Korea. From this study, It would be possible to deliver researcher' work directly to end users via internet, without acquisition of printed scholarly journals. For this study, KISTI's article contribution and electronic journal generation system was discussed. It also compared with other major electronic journal publication models in foreign countries.

This paper proposes a new personalized mobile advertising service using a smartphone connected with a digital signage which is increasingly common for out-of-home advertising. The advertising contents can be transferred with their metadata to a digital signage. Then, the signage delivers only metadata to smartphones in close proximity of it. Based on the user's preference, an application on a smartphone stores advertising metadata and publishes a personalized advertising e-catalog automatically. A smartphone user can browse, edit and share it with friends. In the view of extension of the reach of the advertising contents of various N-Screen devices including a digital signage and a smart TV to a smartphone and supplying personalized advertising data, this advertising model will be very beneficial and commercialized in the near future.

본 논문에서는 작은 화면의 스마트 폰에서 볼 수 있는 전자책을 구성하였다. 대부분의 전자책이 PDF 파일과 같이 기존의 종이책을 단지 정보처리 기기에서 보는 개념의 채용 형태이거나 제한된 규정을 통해 구성된 내용을 스마트 폰보다 화면이 큰 전용 단말기를 통해 보도록 되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 PDF나 웹 형태가 아닌 앱 형태로 컴퓨터보다도 널리 퍼져있는 스마트 폰을 통해 책을 보도록 하였다. 현재 전자책의 실질적 표준 역할을 하는 EPUB는 전용 단말기를 이용한 전자책도 텍스트형 콘텐츠 또는 잡지형 콘텐츠로 정보 처리 기기의 다양한 기능을 살리지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 앱을 이용한 전자책의 초기 시도로 기존 책의 구성을 가능한 지키면서 앱의 다양한 능력을 통해 많은 편리성을 살리는 한편 특히 본문은 작은 화면에 많은 정보를 담는 것은 책을 읽는 독자에게 무리한 요구를 하는 것이므로, 본문의 내용과 관계된 이미지를 의미 단위로 토막을 내고 이를 항, 절, 장으로 구분지어 태그를 붙여 데이터베이스에 저장한 후 태그를 기반으로 본문 화면에 시간차를 두고 자동 출력하도록 하는 시도로 사용자의 편리를 도모하였다.

This Research considered the case of scholarly journal - electronic journal in particular - which are currently in a state of change and investigates the policies of the Korea and Japan government and other related organizations. The decision to acquire electronic journals, participation in consortia and the present conditions were investigated, and the differences in policy between the two countries were considered with a view to the possibility of cooperation.

기존의 종이책은 다양한 스마트 모바일기기의 활발한 보급으로 인해 전용 단말기와 뷰어 앱(Veiwer App)을 통해 전자책(e-book)으로 서비스되고 있다. 최근에는 텍스트(Text) 중심의 전자책과 달리, 텍스트와 함께 동영상, 다양한 상호작용 요소를 중심으로 하는 앱북(App book)의 형태로 진화되고 있다. 아이패드(iPad)용 앱스토어(App Store)에서는 도서 관련 앱이 28%를 차지할 정도로 앱북 시장이 빠르게 성장함에도 불구하고, 여러 가지 전자책 전용 단말기, 뷰어 앱 UI(User Interface) 관련 연구들에 비해 앱북의 콘텐츠 및 UI에 대한 연구가 상대적으로 부족한 상황이다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 앱북 콘텐츠의 표시 방법에 따라 3개의 유형으로 분류하고, 대표 앱북을 선정하여, 콘텐츠의 객체 표시방법에 대해 분석하고, 상호작용 요소들을 분석하였다. 이를 통해, 객체 별 상호작용 요소를 고려한 전자잡지형 앱북의 콘텐츠 표시 방법 프레임워크를 설계하였다.
