Kinematic Correction and a Design for Velocity Trajectory to Reduce an Odometer Error of Wheeled-Mobile Robots (구륜 이동 로봇의 주행오차 감소를 위한 기구학적 보정과 속도궤적의 설계)

  • This paper presents methods for reducing odometer errors caused by kinematic imperfections in wheeled mobile robots. Wheel diameters and wheelbase are corrected by using encoders without landmarks. And a new velocity trajectory is proposed that compensates for an orientation error due to acceleration-resolution constraints on motor controllers. Based on this velocity trajectory, the wheel velocity of one out of two driven wheels may be changed by the traveled distance of the mobile robot. It is shown that a wheeled mobile robot can't move along a straight line exactly, even if kinematic correction are achieved perfectly, and this phenomenon is attributable to acceleration-resolution constraints on motor controllers. We experiment on a wheeled mobile robot with 2 d.o.f. and discuss the results.

  • As the electronic commerce increases rapidly in the mobile communication, security issues become more important. A suitable authentication and key agreement for the mobile communication environment is a essential condition. Some protocols based on the public key cryptosystem such as Diffie-Hellman, EIGamal etc. were adapted in the mobile communication. But these protocols that are based on the difficult mathematical problem in the algebra, are so slow and have long key-length. Therefore, these have many limitation to apply to the mobile communication. In this paper, we propose an authentication and key agreement protocol based on NTRU to overcome the restriction of the mobile communication environment such as limited sources. low computational fewer, and narrow bandwidth. The proposed protocol is faster than other protocols based on ECC, because of addition and shift operation with small numbers in the truncated polynomial ring. And it is as secure as other existent mathematical problem because it is based on finding the Shortest or Closest Vector Problem(SVP/CVP).

  • A new etchant formulation was developed in this study to increase the shadow mask production rate, utilizing the $Fe(ClO_4)_3$ as an additive in the aqueous $FeCl_3$ solution. The shadow mask etch rate increased substantially with the increase of $Fe(ClO_4)_3$ concentration in the etchant. The etch rate difference between Ni and Invar steel was also reduced with the addition of $Fe{(ClO_4)_3}$ for most of the operating conditions, which was caused by the enhanced etch rate of both Ni and Fe by the new etchant. The increase in etch rate with the addition of $Fe(ClO_4)_3$ to aqueous ferric chloride solution was attributed to the superior electron transfer capability of $ClO^{4-}$ ion to that of $Cl^-$ ion.

  • In this study, we have proposed a motion equation to control synchro drive mobile robot, a path plan to compute and track the best path to given destination and a technique utilizing uniform distribution and cluster management based Monte Carlo localization to have track current position of moving robot. In the localization test which was repeated 73 times resulted as following. The average process time of original Monte Carlo localization was 12.8ms. The proposed cluster management Monte Carlo localization resulted 9.3ms. Also the proposed method resulted correctly in the cases where original method failed.

  • This paper presents a video tracking method for a deformable moving object using an active contour model in the image sequences. It is quite important to decide the local convergence directions of the contour points for correctly extracting the boundary of the moving object with deformable shape. For this purpose, an energy function for the active contour model is newly proposed by adding a directional energy term using a frame difference map to tile Greedy algorithm. In addition, an updating rule of tile frame difference map is developed to encourage the stable convergence of the contour points. Experimental results on a set of synthetic and real image sequences showed that the proposed method can fully track the deformable object while extracting the boundary of the object elaborately in every frame.

  • Telecommunication network are becomming bigger and more complex. Its difficult to manage efficiently the networks, because these networks usually have heterogeneous and inompatoble compinents. Nevertheless, current approaches to network management have focused on centralized managementstrategies based on client-server architecture. These approaches have resulted in much weakness in the real-time management, the service extensibility, and the network scalability. In thispaper, we applied the mobile agent technology to solve the above problems. Jave is a promising technology for developing mobile agent system. But, there are several problems like the service extensibility in using the Java. To solve these problems, a new approach using digital signature is suggested to authenticate mobile agent in network management environments. This approach can solve the conflict between security of the system and extensibility of the mobile code. Moreover, the system suggested in this paper show the decentralized and flexible network management solutions.

이동패킷 무선망을 위한 ISMA 프로토콜

  • 패킷무선망의 성능분석을 위해 기제안된 경합형 프로토콜중 ISMA 방식을 선정하여 그에대한 throughput 및 delay 특성을 패킷발생률, SNR; 패킷 오율, 단말기의 이동속도, 변복조 방식 등 여러가지 시스팀 변수를 고려하여 모델링하고 평가하였으며, 특히 링크의 상태가 열악한 레일리 페이딩 환경에서의 해석을 행함으로서 이동 패킷 무선망에의 적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 또 해석결과를 바탕으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의해 여타 방식과의 비교 평가를 행함으로서 ISMA 방식이 레일리 페이딩 환경에서 특히 우수함을 입증하고, 이동무선 환경에서 이용할 수 있음을 보였다. 시뮬레이션 결과에 의하면 ISMA 방식은 round trip delay가 비교적 길경우 CSMA나 slotted-ALOHA에 비교하여 매우 유효한 프로토콜이다.

Robust Location Estimation based on TDOA and FDOA using Outlier Detection Algorithm (이상치 검출 알고리즘을 이용한 TDOA와 FDOA 기반 이동 신호원 위치 추정 기법)

  • This paper presents the outlier detection algorithm in the estimation method of a source location and velocity based on two-step weighted least-squares method using time difference of arrival(TDOA) and frequency difference of arrival(FDOA) data. Since the accuracy of the estimated location and velocity of a moving source can be reduced by the outliers of TDOA and FDOA data, it is important to detect and remove the outliers. In this paper, the method to find the minimum inlier data and the method to determine whether TDOA and FDOA data are included in inliers or outliers are presented. The results of numerical simulations show that the accuracy of the estimated location and velocity is improved by removing the outliers of TDOA and FDOA data.

전자상거래를 위한 음성 숫자 인식 알고리즘

  • 최근 인터넷의 보급이 대중화되면서 전자상거래 시장이 급속도로 커지고 있다. 또한 무선 이동장비의 보급이 증가하고 무선장비의 인터넷 접속 지원이 보편화되면서 기존의 유선망 전자상거래 개념이 무선망에R지 확장되고 이다. 무선 단말기를 전자상거래에 이용하기 위해서는 음성인식에 관한 연구가 절대적이다. 본 논문에서는 전자상거래 응용에 꼭 필요한 음성 숫자인식 시스템에 대해 다루었다. 제안한 알고리즘은 입력 음성 신호를 주파수와 진폭을 이용하여 몇 개의 그룹으로 나눈 후, 그 그룹 내에서 패턴 비교를 통해 숫자 인식 확률을 높이는 다단계 인식 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 개발된 시스템은 대부분의 개인 정보를 담고 있는 숫자 정보의 음성 입력이 가능하게 하므로 많은 전자상거래 시장에 응용할 수 있을 것이다.
