인터넷 사용의 증가는 의사소통 매체의 하나로 전자우편(e-mail)을 일반화되게 땠다. 전자우편은 개인적인 목적 뿐만 아니라, 광고, 판매, 서비스 흑은 제품구입 관련문의 등의 특정목적에 이용되고 있는 추세이므로 한꺼번에 많은 메일을 처리 및 관리하기 위해서는 전자우편문서의 자동분류가 필요하다. 전자우편문서는 일반문서와는 달리 반구조적(semi-structure)구성, 특수문자, 약어 및 속어 등의 특징들이 있으므로 이러한 특성들은 자동분류의 정확도에 영향을 기치는 요인이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 분류 성능을 향상 시키기 위해 자동분류의 오류가 될 수 있는 특성들을 제거하고, 구조적인 특징을 활용한 분류기의 전처리기를 설계한 방법론을 제시하고자 한다

전자상거래의 발전과 개인 중심 사회로 변화함에 따라, 매년 통상우편에 대한 접수 물량은 지속적 감소되고 있고, 비정형 우편물과 소포(택배) 접수 물량이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이와 같이 우편서비스 환경변화에 적극적으로 대응하기 위해 각국의 우편물류 사업자들은 우편물 접수 및 배달업무에 정보통신기술과 자동화기술을 활용하여 고객편익 증진과 우편사업의 경영개선을 목적으로 우편용 접수 및 배달 자동화기기 기술을 개발 및 도입하여 운영하고 있다. 본고에서는 우편용 접수 자동화기기와 무인 택배시스템에 대한 국외 기술동향과 최근 무인우체국 구축에 사용된 국내 우편 접수 및 배달 자동화기기 기술개발 현황을 살펴보고 추후 발전방향을 제시하고자 한다.

With internet development, many peoples use their email to exchange documents, register for web services, and much more. Some individuals/organizations (including educational institutions) use their own domain name for email instead of a domain provided by commercial email services. However, suppose the domain used for custom email expires. In that case, other individuals/organizations can reuse the domain, and the new domain owner can send and receive all emails incoming to the domain. It makes us concerned about Privacy violations. Email that new domain owners can look into also contains sensitive emails like password reset notifications, credit card statements, order history, and more. In this research, we would like to describe the privacy violations caused by the expired domain used for email that did not remove all dependencies of email users and propose a solution.

실시간 우편물류는 고객, 우편물류 담당자 그리고 운영자에게 적절한 정보를 적절한 시간에 제공하는 것이며, 우편물류 흐름과 물품을 실시간으로 통제, 관리하는 것이다. 실시간 우편물류는 기능적 요소와 경영성과 요소가 있다. 기능적 요소는 실시간 추적, 실시간 통제 그리고 실시간 모니터링이며, 경영성과 요소는 우편업무 흐름 관리와 우편업무 흐름의 최적화이다. 본 연구에서는 실시간 우편물류 구축을 위한 자동화와RTE 기술을 분석한다. 또한 자동화와 RTE 기술 도메인 아래에서 유비쿼터스, RFID, USN 등과 같은 인프라와 BPM, EAI, BAM, BI 시스템의 통합을 통한 실시간 우편물류구축을 위한 적용 방법론을 제시한다.

One of the most important security issues of e-mail service is user privacy. Currently, various security protocols, like PGP(pretty Good Privacy), S/MIME(Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extension), have been proposed. These protocols, however, do not provide forward secrecy. Recently, some security protocols that provide forward secrecy were proposed. But all of them require changes to the current e-mail infrastructure. Moreover, contrary to authors' intention, some of them do not actually provide perfect forward secrecy. In this paper, we propose a new practical e-mail security protocol. The proposed protocol provides perfect forward secrecy and uses a practical e-mail model that dose not require any changes to existing e-mail servers. It encrypts and authenticates messages efficiently using elliptic curve based signcryption scheme. In addition, we provide a way to send secure group e-mails.

Due to the need for multilingual e-mail address, EAI Working Group of the IETF has created a wide range of standards associated with e-mail address internationalization(EAI) since 2006. One of the authors and colleagues designed and implemented the mail server, SMTPUTF8, that supports EAI RFC protocols. SMTPUTF8 mail server is composed of new SMTP and POP3 servers supporting EAI RFC protocols. However, SMTPUTF8 did not include a new IMAP server supporting EAI RFC protocol. Recently many people are using smart phones to read and send e-mail messages in a mobile environment. IMAP server is more useful than POP3 server in a mobile environment. Therefore, in this paper, the authors have designed and implemented IMAP server and client app that complies with the IMAP standard (RFC) published by EAI WG of IETF to support multilingual e-mail address. This IMAP server is added to the SMTPUTF8 mail server so that users can access e-mail messages via IMAP client app in a mobile environment.

국민 1인당 우편이용량은 연간 85.4통(97년)으로 선진 외국과 비교하여 매우 낮은 수준이며, 최근의 통상우편 물량은 감소 추세로 반전되고 있다[조선991. 이러한 우편물량의 감소 추세는 전세계적인 추세로서, 미국은 99년, 캐나다는 98년부터 우편물량이 감소되기 시작했다. 그러나, 전자상거래, 택배 서비스 등의 일반화로 소포물량은 크게 증가하고 있는데 이러한 추세는 단기적인 현상이기보다는 사회 전체의 정보화, 고도화 추세에 따른 장기적, 지속적인 경향이 될 것이다 [정통98]. (중략)

인터넷과 모바일의 활성화로 지속적으로 우편물량이 감소하고 있는 현 상황에서 우편 사업자들은 새로운 수요를 창출하고자 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 신규 시장을 만들기 위한 노력의 일환으로 고객의 주소를 보유하고 있는 선진 해외 우정사업자들은 상품 또는 서비스의 판매를 위한 기업의 전통적인 마케팅 방법인 Direct Mail(DM)에 지리정보(GIS) 기반의 고객관리기법(gCRM)을 접목한 홍보우편 서비스를 도입하고 있다. 본 고에서는 홍보우편을 위한 one-stop 서비스를 제공하고 있는 미국, 캐나다, 독일의 홍보우편 서비스 동향을 살펴보고, 국내 우정사업에 적용하고자 하는 홍보우편 마케팅 기법과 고객주소, GIS, gCRM 등이 결합된 홍보우편 서비스 시스템을 위한 요소기술들을 살펴보고자 한다.

PGP(Pretty Good Privacy)는 전자우현에 사용되는 보안도구로써 현재 인터넷(Internet)상에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있다. 전자우편에서 필요로 하는 기밀성, 무결성, 송신자 인증, 송신부인방지등의 기능을 모두 제공해 주고 있고 특히, 사용되는 키에 대한 인증을 하나의 기관에서 전담하지 않고, PGP의 사용자들에 의한 키 인증방식을 채택하고 있는 것이 특징이다. 본고에서는 PGP의 효과적인 보급을 위해 전자우편에 필요한 기본 암호 메카니즘과 PGP의 구조 및 사용방법을 살펴본다.

우편 서비스는 사람과 조직간을 이어주어 실물 배달과 의사 소통을 위한 중요 네트워크 중의 하나이다. 정보통신의 발달로 우편 서비스의 대표적인 형태인 서장이 전자메일로 대치되고 있으나, 전자상거래의 급속한 확장에 힘입어 소포 등과 같은 새로운 우편 서비스 영역의 중요성이 동반 확대되고 있는 실정이다. 2000년에 출범한 인터넷 기반의 우체국 서비스인 ePOST는 전통적인 우편서비스와 농수산물 중심의 쇼핑몰에서 전자고지납부 및 에스크로 서비스 등으로 확대되고 있다. 한편 우리나라의 휴대전화의 보급율은 2004년 현재 $75\%$에 이르고 있으며, 이제 ePOST도 휴대전화상에서 새로운 서비스를 제공하기 위한 준비가 필요하다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 대국민 서비스와 효과적인 비즈니스를 동시에 지원하기 위한 모바일 우편 서비스(mPOST) 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
