  • According to the law revision of TPMS mounting obligations in Korea, researches about energy harvester which is the alternative of the battery are actively performed by many groups. Because WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) has the proposition of "Install and forget" and the power supplier also has the same performance as the vehicle's lifetime. In this paper, electromagnetic induction type of energy harvester through the relative motion between the rotating wheel and the fixed brake disc is introduced by using the most efficient source as the rotating motion in the view of vehicle's mechanism. The coil on the wheel and the permanent magnet at the brake disc are arranged in several ways. These various arrangements are the number of coil turns are consisted of design variables. By using the orthogonal array to reduce the experimental cost, the optimal composition is verified through the experiment. Finally the validity of the module is considered by measuring the level of storable electrical energy.

  • 미끄럼방지 제동장치는 차량의 급제동 시 바퀴의 장김을 방지하여, 바퀴의 슬립을 최적으로 유지 시킴으로써 제동거리를 단축시키고, 운전자가 차량 조향성을 유지할 수 있게 만드는 차량 안정장치이다. 이 장치는 비행기의 착륙거리를 줄이기 위해 개발된 이래로, 철도 및 차량 등에도 널리 적용되고 있으며, 국내에서도 이미 승용차를 위주로 양산되고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 미끄럼방지 제동 장치는 공압 브레이크 장치를 사용하는 대형차량 분야에서는 아직 국내에서 적용된 사례가 없었으나, 지난 3 년간의 연구개발의 성과로 대형 버스에 적용 가능한 미끄럼방지 제동장치의 전자제어기가 개발 완료되었으며, 국제 규격을 바탕으로 국내 현실에 적합한 미끄럼방지 제동장치 장착 대형차량의 시험 규격을 정하여 이 규격에 의거 제동시험을 실시하고 개발 제어기의 성능을 평가하였다. 각 제동 시험은 $\mu$-Jump 제동시험 및 Split-$\mu$ 제동시험 등의 직진 주행 중 급제동시험, 급제동 중 차선변경 시험, 장애물 회피 제동시험 등을 포괄하며 국제적인 규격을 기준으로 정한 독자 규격을 만족하였다. 본 논문에서는 공압 브레이크를 장착한 대형차량의 미끄럼방지 제동장치의 제동성능평가 시험방법을 소개하고, 이 방법에 의해 성능평가 시스템 및 측정 시스템을 구성하여, 개발 전자제어기의 우수성을 확인하였으며, 그 측정결과의 일부를 제시하였다.

  • The ESP (Electronic Stability Program) is an active control system that controls the posture of the vehicle by sensing the unstable state of the vehicle during braking, driving, or turning. The system works if the vehicle becomes unstable and it is very dangerous to develop it in the actual vehicle. For this reason, many studies have been carried out on the method of developing with simulation such as SIL / EIL. Some advanced companies have already applied it to the product development process. In this study, ESP hydraulic system and braking device model were constructed using SimulationX to build ESP SIL / EIL model. The hydraulic system model was constructed using the actual design parameters and the performance of the hydraulic model was verified by comparing with the actual vehicle test.

  • Recently, researches about the eco-friendly vehicles such as hybrid electric vehicle, fuel cell vehicle and electric vehicle have been actively carried out. The regenerative braking system is a key technology to improve the vehicle energy utilization efficiency because it transforms the kinetic energy to the electric energy through the electric motor. This new braking system requires cooperative control between electric controlled brake and regenerative brake. Therefore, it is necessary to establish fault-diagnosis and fail-safe evaluation criteria to secure reliability of the regenerative braking system. In this paper, the failure types and causes in regenerative braking system were analyzed. The transient behavior characteristics were examined based on fault-diagnosis and fail-safe upon failure of regenerative braking system.

  • As a intelligent valve piezoelectric valve is to applied to various fields of application. Piezoelectric valves have fast response time and good linearity for pressure control but its hysteresis displacement by its stack actuator influences on pressure control in electro-hydraulic braking. Solenoid valves are traditional element to control hydraulic pressure but this paper proposes piezoelectric valve for brake pressure control with hysteresis compensation.

  • The optoelectronic characteristics of semiconducto-atomic superlattice as a function of deposition temperature and annealing conditions have been studied. The nanocrystalline silicon/adsorbed oxygen superlattice formed by molecular beam epitaxy(MBE) system. As an experimental result, the superlattice with multilayer Si-O structure showed a stable photoluminescence(PL) and good insulating behavior with high breakdown voltage. This is very useful promise for Si-based optoelectronics and quantum devices as well as for the replacement of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) in ultra-high speed and lower power CMOS devices in the future, and it can be directly integrated with silicon ULSI processing.

  • Caliper intergrated Electric Parking Brake (EPB) is an automatic parking brake system, attached to rear caliper. Because EPB uses luxury vehicles recently, the drivers of vehicles are sensitive to the EPB noise. EPB is operated by the motor and gear, so noise is generated by motor and gear. In order to reduce noise, One of EPB manufacturers uses helical gear and changes the shape of EPB housing. But these methods are not optimized for reduction of interior noise. There are many noise transfer paths into vehicle interior and it is difficult to identify the noise sources. Therefore, in this study, we performed contribution analysis and modal testing in the vehicle system. It is possible to distinguish between air-borne noise and structure-borne noise in the vehicle interior noise by comparing interior noise peak with resonance mode map.

  • When the wind speed changes rapidly, the wind turbine is stopped for the safety of the power system and the mechanical system. At that moment, the wind turbine gearbox is damaged and broken due to the contact load of the gearbox. In addition, the problems such as increasing frictional heat and deteriorate of the brake occur, because the power of the blades is transmitted directly to the brakes. This paper proposes a hybrid magnetic gear shape that solves the problem caused by the contact of the mechanical gear, which is the power transmission device of the wind power generation system, and the power cutoff system. The shape of the hybrid magnetic gearsuitable for the wind power generation system is derived through the torque and loss analysis according to the shape of the hybrid magnetic gear by using the two dimensional finite analysis method.

  • Process and device simulations were performed to determine the optimal ion implantation conditions to prevent double snapback of high voltage operating DDDNMOS (double diffused drain N-type MOSFET) device for ESD protection. By examining the effects of HP-Well, N- drift and N+ drain ion implantation on the double snapback and avalanche breakdown voltages, it was possible to prevent double snapback and improve the electrostatic protection performance. If the ion implantation concentration of the N- drift region rather than the HP-Well region is optimally designed, it prevents the transition from the primary on-state to the secondary on-state, so that relatively good ESD protection performance can be obtained. Since the concentration of the N- drift region affects the leakage current and the avalanche breakdown voltage, in the case of a process technology with an operating voltage greater than 30V, a new structure such as DPS or colligation of optimal process conditions can be applied. In this case, improved ESD protection performance can be realized.
