It IS of great significance that russian artists created their own avant- gard arts, based on russian traditional culture comprehending new artistic trend from the Western Europe. After ttle Russian Revolution, russian artists participated voluntarily to the change of sOCIety. They were heading for the reach of socia 1st's utopia in the field of culture (painting, movie, architecture, play etc) Therefore , new socialist's society needed artistic Institution like the Vchutemas. The aim of thiS school IS to prepare highly educated artists to Instruct and direct In professional and technic education. RUSSian avant-gard artists gave lessons about the new didactics of the Vchutemas on the principals of ConstructiVism and Functlonlsm. They Influenced the Bauhaus school and western european designs.

Prints in the contemporary art has the radical aspects at not only to maintain the characteristic of printmaking in a field of visual image but also to fulfill and communicate a desire of the public. We can see this from the change of the printmaking forms among the alternation of diverse expression methods and media such as from the line-cut at the Renaissance to colored print process, photography, the beginning of 20th century cartoons, advertisement, art, and graphic poster. From that, we can understand the printmaking as a fluid media, not fixed, has finely accomplished its functions as an act of visual language to smoothly communicate with the individual desire and character than word or language at the complex and various cultural surface. This study is focused on that prints as an avant-garde language in popular culture. Therefore, I have examined the following two aspects. First, with focussing at the specific characters of the graphic posters, I try to define the differences between language and visual language and the effect from it to our emotional perception and behavior with the politic and economic point of view. Second, how has the printmaking art as an fine arts finely accomplished an linguistic action. These are the purpose of this study.

When newsreel was organized in 1967, it was a small but strong revolution. New York newsreel became the third world newsreel in 1972. The third world newsreel clearly stated that the purpose of the organization should be the alternative provision of the Television news. They also notified the revolution of the production system and the distribution system. Christine Choy who actively worked at the Third world newsreel succeeded the spirit of the organization through her works. Through the third world newsreel and Christine Choy who was the representative of the organization, this article is dealing with the mode of production and the style and the aesthetics of the Newsreel. Their activities were originally political and always controversial. They agonized who should be the film maker, how should be the distribution system. Through the strong arguments, the group had acquired not only collective identity but also collective production. Those collaborations had become the foundation of their works. Christine Choy has been a key figure of the Third world newsreel and her films has focused on the racial problem and gender problem. Her works have always been political and historical.

This study dealing with the Italian futurist and Russian constructivist costume designs which aimed for new fashion design freed from the conventional meanings of fashion and explore the artistic purpose reflected within the designs expressed differently according to cultural and regional differences in order examine the early 20th century Avant-grade costume designs. The scope of this study is limited to the 1910s to the 1930s when the Italian futurism and the Russian constructivism were originated and were most active. This monograph focused on the works of the Italian futurists, Giacomo Balla who declared the 'Manifesto delle moda minile futurista', Fortunato Depero, and Thayaht who suggested a new direction for the futurist, and on the works of the Russian constructivists Alexander Rodchenko, Varvara Stepanova and Liubov Popova. As an one method of investigated, this paper is used materials of various sources to examine their features. Futurists costume designs expressed a radical conception of progress and their source of aesthetics was dynamism. The concept of 'power' which was the basis of the futurists was incorporated in the costumes while non-symmetrical cut-outs and bright and vivid colors completed the futurist costume designs. Moreover the Russian constructivists brought advances in the field of fabric and textile designs. What was particularly interesting about the Russian constructivist costumes was that the artists worked at the textile mills themselves, directly involved in the designs and manufacturing of fabric, developing an advancement in textile and a new understanding of costume. Furthermore, many Russian artists settled in Paris, actively participating in the fashion industry, and therefore, they have greatly contributed to the development of the early 20th century Avant-garde costume designs.

A work of Art is not supposed to be isolated from the world, but it should be influenced by its cultural background and situations of the times. Therefore, Art itself reflects its era. In other words, it is created being based on the thought of its artist and simultaneously interacting with external conditions or circumstances of the era, so it would also affect the cultural code of its society. This is why modern art made by the individual living in this complicated and diversified society is quite avant-garde. Various demands from its society and diversified senses have been influencing diversification of works of Art. Now we can say that a mode of art is also dose to current stream of the times. A lot of artists have been trying to get out of traditional way of presentation techniques and classification of genres. In that point, the emergence of Multimedia Alt is inevitable in this digital era. The terms of Internet or multimedia are now familiar with everybody in the world, and a lot of works like Technology Art, Information Art, Computer Art, Digital Art, New Media Art, and so on have been coming into the world by using multimedia. Unlike other works of Art, these works from multimedia are practically used by being combined with technologies. Hereupon, in this paper I would like to find out a concept of Multimedia Art, its social function, and the future prospect of this brand-new form of art.

This is the deconstruction of functionism and means the complex phenomenon of disharmony such as the reputation of purity, search for history, irony and so on. Analyzing the shortcomings and shortcomings of the film based on the Webtoon and the artistry as a popular artwork at the time when the filming of the webtoon is becoming the main trend of the Korean film, it is an analysis of the present state of the Korean film industry, Will be an indicator for. The present generation of young people who do not have the experience and knowledge of popular arts and culture that handed down a small number of high-quality arts by reflecting current literary, art, history, and popular consciousness are concentrating only on instinctive emotion, It is regrettable that it is consistently followed by follow-up and follow-up unconditionally. In this study, we will examine the methodology of the ideal webtoon filmization process by analyzing the structure and industry analysis of Webtoons, and analyzing the weaknesses in the transition process to the movie format. The essence of communicating with audiences will be unchanged even in the rapid change of media and technology. In the setting and expression of its essence, it is based on the humanistic authenticity mentioned above, the avant garde internal necessity of the artist seeking ideal, And the reflection of the original character of high-class culture that creates newness can be considered as a proposition that can include artistry in popular culture.

Arts have changed continuously reflecting the times with the political atmosphere and social systems. As political, economic, and social big changes have occurred since World War II, antihistorical tendencies rejecting modernism in the early 20th century have come to appear in culture and arts as well. With these social changes, radical, avant-garde and artistic tendencies with strong experimental spirits, which rejected modernism took place especially in American dancing world. Trends of improvised elements and experimental trials were dominated discovering expressions of new movements in intentions and expressions of works. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects on choreographic forms of modern dance until today by exploring choreographic characteristics of this postmodernism. To examine post-modernist inclinations in works, Trisha Brown who led American post-modern dance stressed dance for expressions of movements in themselves and pure movements by actively accepting into dance works American social flows which played a major role in postmodernism starting from 1960s. American modern dancers considered body in itself as important one and any emotional expressions and individual sensitivity is excluded as their physical expressions are factual, realistic, and due to their movements. They imprinted dance as valuable art by recreating ordinary behaviors into dance, using space excellently and forming experimental dance shapes. Therefore, it can be said that through analyzing brown's works, we proposed a new direction getting out of limits of arts and provided a direction of essential dance alt to movements of modern dance and choreographic shapes.
