The T-DMB(Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) which was developed by the convergence of digital broadcasting technology and communication technology provides us with very good quality of music like CD, and provides TV services in a super express train like the KTX whose velocity is over 300 Km per hour. The T-DMB is diffusing toward the world as a technology which is be able to provide the various convergent services of broadcasting and communication through mobile phone, PDA, dedicated terminal, and so on. A business model needed for the diffusion of the T-DMB toward the world was established and utilized to expand the T-DMB into Vietnam in the paper. In addition, this paper describes not only some predicting methods for the technological valuation of the T-DMB Total Solution, but also a case study on the marketing related to establishing the T-DMB system in order to provide the paid services in Vietnam. Finally, A couple of business models needed to globally expand the T-DMB have been provided.

Supporting handover functionality in V2I communication environments is important to provide higher quality service to users on the road. Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments(WAVE) standards define some features that devices can communicate with each other more efficiently in vehicular environments but they do not include handover function for providing effective V2I services. In this paper, we introduce a handover scheme in WAVE system and show the performance result of proposed scheme.

정보 통신기술의 발전으로 단말기와 네트워크에 독립적인 부가서비스를 이용할 수 있는 개방형 가입자인증 카드인 USIM(Universal Subscriber Identification Module) 카드가 이용되고 있다. 모바일 정보기기의 성능 향상으로 다양한 기능이 추가되고 USIM에 저장된 개인정보의 중요성이 부각되어 범죄 도구로 이용될 가능성이 높아 졌으며 법정 증거자료로서의 중요성도 증가되었다. 모바일 포렌식은 기존의 데이터 저장장치와는 다른 파일시스템을 가지고 있기 때문에 거기에 맞는 전용 포렌식 툴들이 필요하며, USIM과 관련된 범죄가 일어날 때, 자료의 복구와 빠른 검사를 통해 법적 증거화 시킬 수 있는 USIM 포렌식 틀을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 USIM의 기본적인 구조와 파일시스템을 분석하고 USIM 포렌식 관점에서 증거화 시킬 수 있는 다양한 유형과 절차들을 알아보고, 현재 사용 중인 USIM 포렌식 툴들에 대해 비교 분석한다.

This paper presents implementation of embedded remote monitoring diagnosis system which has effective wireless channel structure and communication protocols with user-friendly UI for intelligent digital vessel. Developed system contains integrated vessel monitoring system, server, exclusive mobile terminal and smart phone. We designed an effective dual structure communication channel and simple but effective communication protocol on the monitoring system. Failures of the wireless communication are minimized and the wrong wireless communication channel is immediately replaced. In addition, we developed an effective embedded Linux UI for LCD. The implemented wireless monitoring system was tested and verified on digital vessel.

최근 스마트기기가 발전함에 따라 종이책이 아닌 다양한 전자책뷰어가 등장하고 있다. 애플의 아이패드(iPad), 아마존의 킨들(kindle)과 같은 태블릿, 전자책 또는 스마트폰이 대표적인 예이며 스마트기기의 사용자 증가로 전용 단말기가 아닌 스마트폰 중심의 전자책 시장도 크게 성장하고 있다. 하지만 시니어 또는 스마트기기 사용을 어려워하는 사용자들이 전자책을 사용하는데 어려움을 느끼기 때문에, 전자책은 종이책에 비해 여전히 낮은 이용률을 나타내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 얼굴 표정에 따라서 전자책 설정을 자동으로 변경해 주는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 표정감지를 위하여 OpenCV 라이브러리를 이용하여 얼굴을 검출하고, Haar-Like 피처 기법으로 사용자의 눈 모양을 검출한다. 눈이 감겨있는 경우와 찌푸린 경우를 감지하여 이에 맞게 글자크기와 화면을 자동으로 설정해 준다.

This study aims to enhance the usability of eBook reader programs on personal computers through heuristic evaluation in order to learn users' perceptions and derive key elements for interface design. For this purpose, the traditional usability evaluation and heuristic evaluation method were studied. A total of 22 evaluators of the heuristic evaluation were taken by purposive sampling to test the interface of eBook reader on PCs. This study suggested ten heuristics that focus on improving and specializing the usability aspects of reading digital materials.

In this research, a ubiquitous-based strategy for managing waterworks facilities is proposed to increase the usability of the existing related databases and to ensure the systematic way of distributing information. The current status of the existing waterworks GIS and GIS database were analyzed to achieve the goal. By studying the state-of-the-art technology, we found that importing the LBS(Location Based Service) technology to the databases is necessary. The results of these efforts are exclusive waterworks-mobile-terminals and LBS system supporting them. Furthermore, the applicability of the ubiquitous technology to waterworks has been examined to realize the real-time waterworks management.

무선 통신 기술 및 이동 컴퓨터의 성능의 발전함에 따라 이동 컴퓨팅 환경을 단순한 단말기로 사용하기 보다는 독립된 수행 단위로 이용하려는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 즉 모든 작업을 서버에게 보내어 결과를 기다리는 대신 이동 컴퓨터에서 직접수행할 수 있는 알고리즘이 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 컴퓨터에서의 트랜잭션 수행 알고리즘을 제안한다. 우리는 낙관적인 기법을 채택하였는데 이기법은 (a) 동기화에 필요한 메시지를 적게 필요로 하며 (b) 브로드캐스트 기법의 장점을 얻을수 있다. 브로드캐스트 기법은 최근 많은 수의 클라이언트에게 정보를 전송할 수 있는 수단으로써 많이 연구되고 있다. 그러나 접근하는 데이터간에 충돌이 빈번하게 발생한다면 낙관적 기법은 결국 높은 철회율을 보이게 되며 이는 다시 이동 컴퓨터 자원으로 효율적으로 사용하려는 목적과 반대 결과가 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 높은 철회율을 감소시키기 위해 재순서화 개념을 도입하였다. 즉 충돌이 발견될 경우 데이터의 일관성을 침해하지 않는 범위내에서 충돌 순서를 결정하도록 하는 것이다. 특히 읽기-쓰기 트랜잭션에 대해서는 후위-재순서화 개념을 읽기-전용 트랜잭션에 대해서는 전위-재순화 개념(O-Pre)을 제안하였으며 실험에 의하여 성능 향상을 보였다.

본 논문은 반려동물 강아지를 위한 전용 관리 및 지역 애완동물 병원과의 연동을 통한 긴급 조치 서비스망의 구축, 반려동물 강아지를 키우는 사람들의 커뮤니티 운영을 위하여 필요한 스마트 App.과 Web Site에 관한 설계 연구이다. 먼저, 본 논문은 서론에서 기존의 반려동물 강아지의 관리 및 긴급 구조 시스템에 관련된 상표출원 동향을 조사한다. 본론으로, 본 논문은 한이음 프로젝트로서 반려동물 강아지 서비스/시스템/콘텐츠의 설계, 대학생 멘티들이 참여하는 역할분담을 연구한다. 결론적으로, 본 논문은 반려동물의 평상시 관리와 비상시의 긴급구조에 필요한 IoT기반의 스마트시스템과 Web Page, 스마트 단말기에서 작동하는 App.의 설계, 제작, 시험, 인증에 관하여 필요한 준비사항, 시스템 개발의 절차와 지식재산권, 기술문서의 작성법에 관하여 연구한다.

In restricted resources based on mobile environment, we can use an embedded database technology for management of MPEG-7 data. At this time, some XML clustering methods can be used. But, to improve the performance efficiency better, a new clustering method is need to store effective MPEG-7 document. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a MPEG-7 document management system to store MPEG-7 document effectively in mobile device such as PDA. The system used the 버클리 DB XML as a native embedded XML database system based on the clustering method of MPEG-7 data.
