3-Phase Transformer Isolated Multi-level Inverter Using Common Arm (공통암을 이용한 3상 변압기 절연 멀티레벨 인버터)

  • The number of transformer and the size of transformer in inverter using 3-phase transformer could be reduced compare with a multi-level inverter using single phase transformer. but still the 3-phase transformer inverter needs many switches. In this study, we proposed the isolated multi-level inverter using 3-phase transformers and common arm, in this paper. Also, using phase angle control method with switching frequency equal to output fundamental frequency, harmonics component of output voltage and switching loss can be reduced. Finally, We tested multi-level inverter to clarify electric circuit md reasonableness through Matlab simulation and experiment by using prototype inverter.

A Study on the Inverter Type Neon Power Supply Using a Piezoelectric Transformer (압전 변압기를 이용한 인버터식 네온관용 변압기에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, inverter type neon power supply using a piezoelectric transformer is fabricated and its characteristic is investigated. Developed neon power supply is composed of basic circuit and blocks, such as rectifier part, frequency oscillation part and piezoelectric transformer and resonant half bridge inverters. In this paper for complement the low power limitation, piezoelectric transformer at parallel connected driving by inverter is studied for noon tubes system of high power. When piezoelectric transformer is connected with parallel, LC filter connection method with parallel and selection of inductance L and capacitor C of primary side is suggested for reduce unbalanced current at the terminal of each transformer. Piezoelectric transformers use piezoelectric ceramic devices. Thus it is wireless therefore it has high power density, high Isolation level, low loss, more light, and miniaturization. In addition, high voltage transfer ratio is expected because there is no leakage inductance. Also, it has economic merit that the electrical loss Is low because structure is simple, small and tighter weight.

  • 본 논문에서는 작은 필터 사이즈를 갖는 영전압 스위칭이 가능한 PWM 3레벨 컨버터를 제안한다. 제안하는 컨버터의 모든 스위치의 전압 스트레스는 입력 전압의 반으로 제한되고, 2차측의 필터 앞단 전압이 3레벨 형태로 나타나 기존보다 작은 출력 필터 사이즈가 필요하다는 장점을 갖는다. 또한 두 개의 변압기로 전류를 분할함으로써 도통 손실을 줄일 수 있다. 효과를 확인하기 위해 500-600V 의 입력 전압과 60V 의 출력 전압을 갖는 500W 컨버터를 제작하여 실험하였다.

Characteristics of Saturation and Circulating Current Based on Winding and Iron Core Structure of Grid-connected Transformer in Energy Storage System (ESS 연계용 변압기의 결선방식 및 철심구조에 따른 순환전류와 포화특성에 관한 연구)

  • Since the fire accident of ESS (energy storage system) occurred at Gochang KEPCO Power Testing Center in August 2017, 29 fire cases with significant property losses have occurred in Korea. Although the cause of fire accidents have not been identified precisely, it should be considered battery and PCS (power conditioning system) as well as unbalance issues in the distribution system. In particular, circulating currents in a neutral line of a grid-connected transformer, which can affect a magnetized current, may have a negative effect on the ESS with unintentional core saturation and surge voltages at the secondary side of the transformer. Therefore, this paper proposes the modeling of the distribution system, which was composed of a substation, grid-connected transformer, and customer loads using PSCAD/EMTDC S/W, to analyze the phenomena of circulating current and surge voltages of the transformer with unbalanced currents in the distribution system. This paper presents a countermeasure for a circulating current with the installation of NGR (neutral grounding resistor) in grid-connected transformer. From the simulation results, it is clear that exceeding the circulating current and surge voltage at the secondary side of the transformer can be one of the causes of fire accidents.

  • 본 논문은 2차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 2[MVA]급 몰드변압기의 과도전계를 해석한 것이다. 과도현상을 해석하기 위해 변압기 코일 및 대지 간 정전용량을 에너지법을 이용하여 구하였고, 이를 이용하여 변압기에 충격전압 95[kV]가 인가될 경우에 변압기 위치별 전계의 세기를 구하였다.

  • This paper presents system modeling, modified space vector PWM implementation and design of a closed loop controller of the Z-source inverter which consists of L and C components and shoot-through zero vectors for DGS. Zero vector periods of SVPWM utilized to boost DC-link voltage instead of conventional DC/DC converter and transformer. Only two shoot-through vut(nn are used for DC link voltage control during one switching period without loss of non-zero vectors. Discrete time sliding mode controller, robust servomechanism controller are designed to realize fast and no-overshoot current response and a steady state voltage error. Simulation results are shows the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • This paper describes the dissipation factor measuring techniques of insulating oil on operating pole transformers by using digital signal processor. After applying voltage to the condenser which is in¬stalled in a transformer, acquiring source voltage and current of condenser and using cross-correla¬tion techniques, we can check the dissipation factor of insulating oil. To improve measuring accuracy and the speed of process, we use hardware such as TMS320C31 DSP board and software such as cross -correlation techniques. We simulated the measuring accuracy and the degree of the noise effect of this new measuring techniques by using computer simulation, and compared the simplified measuring devices with Schering bridge on degraded insulating oil. The result showed that this measuring tech¬nique can be used as diagnostic method on the pole transformers.

냉음극 변압기 플라즈마와 TEOS 소스를 이용한 $SiO_2$ 박막 증착

  • 저진공 (>100 mTorr)에서 냉음극 변압기 전원 소스를 이용하여 플라즈마를 발생시키는 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 이 장치를 이용하여 Tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS)를 기화시켜 이산화규소 ($SiO_2$) 박막 증착 기술을 연구하였다. 공정 압력은 400~1,000 mT이었다. 증착된 박막의 박막 두께, 굴절률 등의 측정을 실시하였다. 결과를 요약하면, 플라즈마 공정 압력이 증가함에 따라 박막 증착 속도는 약 200~300 A/min이었다. 또한 전압이 1,100에서 2,100 V로 증가함에 따라 산화막의 증착 속도는 약 300에서 40 nm/min으로 증가하였다. TEOS만을 사용하였을 때 굴절률은 약 1.5~1.6정도였다. 그러나 TEOS에 산소를 추가하면 자연 산화막의 굴절률인 1.46을 쉽게 얻을 수 있었다. 초기 연구 결과를 정리하면 냉음극 변압기 플라즈마 장치는 향후 실용적인 산화막 플라즈마 증착 연구 장치로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

열사이클 열화에 따른 광유와 식물유의 절연파괴전압 분석

  • 송전 및 배전계통에 운영되고 있는 유입식 변압기는, 생분해성이 좋아 보다 더 친환경적인 식물성 절연유로 대체되어 가고 있으며, 미국등지에서는 이미 10여년 전부터 식물성 절연유를 사용한 변압기를 배전 및 송전 계통에 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 광유계 절연유를 대체하는 식물성 절연유를 사용한 배전급 변압기 및 기존의 광유계 절연유를 사용하는 동일한 용량의 배전급 변압기($1_{\phi}2010KVA$ 13200-230V)를 제작하여 열사이를 형태의 복합 열화를 시켜, 식물유 및 광유를 채취 분석하고 그 열화 기구를 연구하였다.
