Planning of Exhibit Halls in Rural Tourism Villages Applying Experience Factor(4Es) Theory (체험요소(4Es) 이론을 적용한 농촌마을의 테마전시관 계획 연구)

  • Building of exhibit halls in rural area has been a new trend with increasing investments in rural development. Exhibit hall can be an effective way to specialize rural village with amenity resources which is now in a flood of agritourism. However, most of exhibit halls being operated by rural villages have similar display on similar themes and are poorly managed. To aggressively promote rural amenity resources in villages and make visitors satisfy through their experiences, this research reviewed experience economy theory of Pine and Gilmore(1998) and derived planning guidelines of rural theme exhibit hall applying experiential factors(Educational, Esthetic, Escapist, and Entertainment experiences). Finally, we applied these planning guidelines to a site, Igil village which is located in Cheorwon County, Gangwon-do, with a theme of a red-crowned crane for verification.

  • 기존 인터넷 환경에서는 대부분 2차원 정보를 제공하고 있는데, 이용자가 현실 환경과 유사한 정보를 추구하게 되면서 점차 가상의 현실감을 제공하는 3D 정보의 요구가 늘고 있다. VRML(Virtual Reality Markup Language)은 이러한 3D의 정보를 가시화 해주는 언어로써 일부 진자상거래 사이트에서 그 구현 예를 볼 수 있다. 본 논문은 VRML 기반의 3D 정보를 제공하는 가상 전시관 저작도구를 설계 하고자 한다 본 가상 전시관 저작도구는 JAVA와 VRML을 기반으로 VRML 객체를 실시간으로 접근할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 가상전시관 저작도구는 실시간으로 객체 생성 및 수정을 지원함으로써 사용자에게 인터렉티브하게 VRML 데이터를 다를 수 있는 구조를 제공하고 있다.

Strategies to Increase Competitiveness of Local Experience Space: A Study of the 4Es in the Experience Space of Sam-Rae Arts Village in Wanju-gun, Jeollabukdo (체험경제이론(4Es)에 따른 지역 체험전시관의 경쟁력 강화방안 : 전북 삼례문화예술촌 체험전시관을 중심으로)

  • The dramatic rise of experience space using cultural heritage in modern architecture has been generally acknowledged in recent literature. The present study aims to investigate effective ways to enhance competitiveness in local experience space, with an emphasis on the use of cultural heritage in modern architecture. Using the case of the Sam-Rae Arts Village in Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk, this study analyzes the characteristics of the 4Es in experience economy theory. In order to arrive at findings that represent the variety of perspectives found in this context, qualitative interviews were conducted with three groups: public officials, maintenance staff in the experience center, and field experts. The results of this study revealed that the Visual Media Art Museum and Book Wooks were used for entertainment, the Corpentry Shop for education, the Book Museum for escapism, and the Design Museum Culture $Caf{\acute{e}}$ The O's for aestheticism. Additionally, depending on the commercial potential of the respective experience space, the Corpentry Shop, Book Wooks, and the Culture $Caf{\acute{e}}$ The O's were used for profit purposes while the Design Museum and the Visual Media Art Museum for non-profit. Based on the findings of the present study, effective ways to enhance competitiveness in the local experience space are suggested. First, the public nature of cultural enjoyment may be realized in a field that bears non-profit characteristics. In exhibiting works, the experience space could suggest the extra demonstration. Second, in the for-profit experience hall, the securing of tourists may help to maximize profit. In so doing, a variety of experience programs and activity spaces could be provided internally, while advertisement marketing through mobile and SNS could be reinforced externally.

A Study on the Ecological Characteristics and Changes of the Shigeru Ban Exhibition Space (시게루 반 전시공간의 생태적 특성과 변화 연구)

  • This study examined changes in the ecological characteristics and design characteristics of Ban's exhibition space in three representative temporary exhibition halls and three permanent exhibition halls designed by Ban Shigeru since 2000. Through the investigation of the concepts and characteristics of ecological architecture, the design characteristics of exhibition space, the analysis framework of the design characteristics of exhibition space and the design elements of ecological architecture is obtained. The analysis results show that there are big changes between the temporary exhibition space and the permanent exhibition space in terms of building scale, space composition, function, materials and technology. On the one hand, the temporary exhibition space used recyclable materials, such as paper tubes, containers to be assembled on site into a single-layer space focused on display. The assembly method was simple and the construction period was short. After the exhibition, the exhibition space were dismantled. The materials were either transported to the next display site or recycled and reused. On the other hand, the permanent exhibition space used reinforced concrete as the main structure, and used a large amount of wood and glass materials to construct a multi-layered composite cultural space that separated the exhibition space and the leisure space. In terms of ecological characteristics, the building materials of the temporary exhibition space were recycled and no industrial wastes were generated after the demolition. The permanent exhibition hall uses eco-friendly wood for the roof and walls, so it is easy to replace and repair. Both types of exhibition halls are changing ecological architecture in a more sustainable direction by saving resources and energy through natural light and ventilation.

  • 현존하는 세계 최고 금속활자본인 직지심체요절이 탄생한 충북 청주에 인쇄를 테마로 한 전통문화예술거리가 조성된다. 청주시(한범덕 시장)는 고인쇄박물관 일원을 특색 있는 전통문화예술 거리로 조성하기 위해 직지문화특구 마스터플랜을 재검토해 실현가능한 사업을 단기 중기 장기계획으로 진행할 예정이다. 청주시는 2014년까지 금속활자 주조 전시관, 근현대 인쇄전시관, 녹색 쉼터 등을 조성한다.

  • 최근 모바일 장비를 사용한 유비쿼터스 전시관 지원 시스템들이 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 대부분의 시스템들이 전시물에 관련된 정보들을 서버를 통하여 실시간으로 제공하지만 모든 사용자에게 동일한 정보만을 제공하고 있기 때문에 사용자 수준에 적합한 개인화 서비스를 제공받을 수 없다. 본 연구에서는 모바일 장비와 RFID 기술을 기반으로 사용자의 수준을 고려하여 관람 정보를 실시간으로 서비스하는 시스템을 설계하였다. 이 시스템은 사용자의 관람 이력을 모니터링하여 프로타입을 생성하고, 물리공간인 실제 전시관이나 가상 공간인 e-전시관에서의 차별화된 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

  • 정보통신부는 지난 3월 18일 광화문 교보문고 옆 정보통신부 청사 1층에 'Ubiquitous Dream 전시관(약칭 U-Dream관)'을 개관하고 다가올 디지털 정보화 사회의 모습과 우리나라의 우수한 IT 기술을 한자리에서 체험하고 관람할 수 있는 상설 전시관을 마련했다. 유비쿼터스란 '언제 어디서나 네트워크에 접속할 수 있다'는 뜻으로, 이 유비쿼터스 드림관에는 300평 규모의 전시관에 가정.사무실.자동차.카페로 꾸며져 네트워크를 통해 연결된 첨단 정보통신 기술을 경험할 수 있다. 미래의 사회가 궁금하다면 한 번 직접 시간을 내어 방문해 보자. 특히 한참 호기심이 많을 나이의 어린이들이 방문한다면 특별한 경험이 될 듯 싶다.

  • The space designated for kindergarten and elementary school students, who accounted for half of all users of the presidential archives, is now lacking, with the archives' programs focusing on exhibitions and field trips. With this, an experience exhibition is seen as the most effective way to communicate the value of presidential records and archives based on the theory of cognitive development. Therefore, this study proposes an experiential exhibition program for children about presidential archives based on the experience economy under theories that are recently getting attention. The Presidential Archives through the Experiential Exhibition program for children proposed by this study will become a place for the cultural communication of all generations.

  • The purpose of this study was verified the effect of analyzed emotional factors and compare with competed design proposals of G and D public exhibition to plan the public exhibition applied emotional marketing which strengthen the effect with touching the emotion. The results are first, public consumer preferred to experience 5 senses and gives a positive effect, second, preference according to factor of scene gives differences by ages, but various ages preferred to experience the factor of scene, third the result of analyze the relation between preference of scene and 3 groups of 5 senses, which is high, middle, and low preferred had significant relation, and fourth, public consumer preferred to several levels of exhibition than only one level, the space preferred was 'experiencing' space.
